  1. WHOAH! BANNER! SITE! DIFFERENT!

  2. I like this one. xD Yeah, it is kind of...complicated. Just thought I'd share though, to show I'm not an emotionless robot who only gets crushes on celebrities. ^^
  3. Yeah, come to think of it, I'm kind of crushing on someone IRL besides a celebrity. OH COME ON, it's POSSIBLE. Except he's the brother of the girl my brother is crushing on. So it's kind of messed up and confused, and I don't want to, like, screw things up for my brother. Or for my crush's sister, since the two of us are friends. And my brother is friends with my crush. So we're all friends, and we all kind of like each other, but its a bit of a muddle. So yeah.
  4. Aw, dangit, now I have a headcanon that Rarity got pushed into football by her father. And now I want to write fanfic about it. Dangit.
  5. This thread is still ALIVE!? Geesh, is it Frankenthread or something!? Oh well, might as well update. Forum Crush: Nopony, but honorable mentions for being good friends go to @Batbrony, @Scootalove, , , @Sky Warden, and , aka Wench. Pony Crush: Still Fancy Pants. But darnit, Button Mash is sooooo adorable~! ^^ IRL Crush: Er...
  6. GAAAH now I have a bunch of MLP one-shots rattling around my brain and I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DOOOOOO

''I have to find a way, to make this all okay.'' Maybe that will solve it. x3

  7. O_e Being a very proud Christian myself, I am unfortunately baffled by this theory. Isn't there a Kung Fu Panda quote about this? It's something like, "Actually it was 937 years. But a thousand just sounds cooler." Frankly, I think a thousand years isn't a Biblical reference, it's just a "they were put away for a really really long time and now they're BACK!" There are Biblical references in the show, but you have to look pretty hard. Although there is evidence of religion in Equestria, which I suppose could vaguely parallel Christian beliefs, but other then that...eh? Also, it's a kids show. Why do people keep forgetting this?
  8. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D premiers tonight!!! SO FREAKING HYPED!! :D :D :D

I'm more frustrated that the recent banners have been chosen out of favoritism, than anything.

Well, my banner wasn't chosen all that long ago, and I'm not close to any of the mods whatsoever...

Although I think CD once brohoofed one of my posts...

  11. Yep.^^ So yeah, I actually ship a *lot* of M/F couples. ^^ I think these are the only ones I actually ship...*scratches head* I know I'm forgetting a few, though...
  12. I sleep on a bed, and sleep in pajamas. I've also been told by reputable sources that sleeping in matching pajama sets is considered extremely weird. I have no idea why this is.
  13. Here's the thing with me, about anatomy; I've only learned to draw rather recently, and I'm trying to teach myself with limited success. Being, of course, less talented than a mule on meth, I botch my anatomy up rather spectacularly. With that being said, I think it's extremely important for an artist to at least know and learn the correct anatomy before developing one's own style. You can't stylize something, or create a style with the excuse of, "Oh, I hate drawing ears, so in my style, their ears look like this." I honestly believe that you need to learn correct anatomy before you go off stylizing anything. However, once you feel comfortable drawing correct anatomy, and know how ball-joints work and whatnot, I think it's extremely unfair to hold all artists to the same, "You have to draw all anatomy this way!" standard. If the artist knows the anatomy and chooses to ignore it, that's one thing. Keep in mind this is coming from an extremely amateur artist and a rather derpalicious one at that.
  14. Ahh! That was seriously awesome, almost perfect synching, and definitely perfect casting. One of these days I've gotta watch Wreck It Ralph, I've heard such good things about it.
  15. Okay, let's take these things one at a time, shall we? First off: the definition of 'pander'. pan·der ˈpandər/ verb 1. gratify or indulge (an immoral or distasteful desire, need, or habit or a person with such a desire, etc.). Gratify or indulge; see what an ugly word that is now? I like to use it in negative connontations. That's generally why it's called "fan pandering", because that term is generally negative. And here's why it's negative. Our fandom is wildly artistic and talented. Unlike the Batman fandom, where you can be an active and popular member with zero artistic skill or talent, the Brony community definitely lends its collective ear towards people with immense writing/remixing/songwriting/drawing talents. There is a massive outpouring of fanart and headcanons that range from incredibly gory to heart-wrenching and tragic. Because of this, there are a million different theories as to how Celestia and Luna came into existance. Or even how long they've been alive. Who Scootaloo's parents are. Et cetera. I have nothing wrong with fan-service. A bit of fan service can instantly endear your fandom to the creators; for instance, Derpy talking. Look at the massive outpouring of love and support Derpy received, because she was the product of Hasbro listening to the fans. We liked Derpy. As a matter of fact, we liked her so much they decided to give her speaking lines. How cool is that? What was largely wrong with Season 3 is it was trying to balance fan-service and headcanon debunking. Some shows, like Glee, go out of their way to debunk headcanons or popular ships, because they know that ship or headcanon is completely uncharacteristic of the characters. For instance, Fluttershy using "The Stare!" on Discord came right out of nowhere, served absolutely no purpose to the plot, and as soon as it was over, nobody mentioned it again.* It also destroyed the former idea of her not really knowing what it was or how to use it--all of a sudden, she knows enough about it to use it as a legitimate threat. This was used to debunk theories about Fluttershy's "Stare" being able to conquer almost anything. The main problem, or what I'm trying to get at, is that as a fandom we shouldn't have control over what the writers want to do. Who are we to demand things? We've loved the show for what it is. If the writers keep writing what they want to write, like they've mostly been doing, why should we complain? But when the fans start stepping in between the writers and their thought process, demanding things like, "We want a Scootaloo episode! We want to see more of Pinkie's family! We want Vinyl Scratch to have a song/speaking parts! We want a Derpy episode! Blah blah rawr!" then things get messed up. Because then the noisy majority is winning over the writer's wishes. That being said, the fandom does need to listen to criticism from fans. Not demands. I would also like to excuse and apologize for this rambling wall of text, as I'm currently so high on sugar I can smell colors. Good day, and I'm off to eat more Klondike Bars.
  16. Let me think about that. Am I, a young college girl, frightened of an arachnid with eight eyes, eight hairy legs, a giant bulbous body, and, in certain cases, are inherently poisonous? Am I afraid of a creature who's homes stretch across door frames and tree branches, and when you walk through them, the carcasses of their food wind up in your hair and your mouth? Was I that certain girl who's obsession with going to Hogwarts was abruptly and permanently halted when I read Chamber of Secrets, and discovered that the surrounding lands housed a colony of the largest spiders imaginable? Why yes. Yes I am. Spiders. Are. Terrifying.
  17. Watched the BB season finale. Andy won. I am not surprised, but sorely disappointed by all three finalists. BRING BACK EVEL DICK!

      Mmkay, bullet points:

1! Your sister is the most adorable creature on the face of this crusty dried planet.

2! I am in complete and utter jealousy of both your hair and your merch. Seriously, the knit-Rarity. WANT.

3! I can actually believe you didn't notice a girl checking you out. Us girls are very stealth when checking out guys. Not like BOYS, you just stare and drool, gets quite sticky and annoying.

      4! NEON PINK WIG!?

1 - Mmmmmm I s'pose, but you'd be horrified at some of the faces we make at each other...

2 - While your hair may never be *quite* as sexy as mine, a knit Rarity can be yours. I just need to find the business card I took from the lady who sold it to me. XD

3 - And so many of you wonder why you're forever alone! You needs ta make it easier on BOTH of us. >:(

4 - I dearly wish that I'd taken a picture of him, but out of some bizarre combination of horror a...

He actually LOOKS like a corny porn star villain, that's the hilarious part. xD

I just have a soft spot for estranged dads, I guess. He's quite rude and belligerent however.
