      Clearly why the Aliens wanted to blow up America though. They were unhappy at the quality of their Microsoft Windows for Starships installation... :)

      Although if they had gone for iOS for Starships, they would have been annoyed that their otherwise stylish and perfectly working navigation app required an in-app purchase of new maps every time they jumped between starsystems.... ;)

    I have to say, the animation in the MLP movie is a little... off-putting. There's definitely a latent uncanny valley effect at work.

      The facial proportions are rounder and the movements almost too smooth. They also added subtle sparkles in the eyes of the ponies, from what I can tell. It's an odd blend of Gen 4 and previous generations.

      And hey, speaking as the son of a teacher (whose parents were in education themselves as well) let me just say that if things ever get difficult with your classes, things could be worse... you could be Cheerilee and not have any digits or magic to levitate chalk, and live through a Tartarus of an existence where you get the foul taste of chalk in your mouth each and every day of your life as you slave away writing things up on the chalkboard (which could also explain why she as yet has not landed a steady relationship, just saying, chalk breath could be a big turnoff for many stallions :orly:).
