    Yeah, exactly. I hate when threats, ultimatums, and commands are dressed up in flowery language about how great it will be and how much you will love it. OR ELSE!

    Oops, sorry. Anyway, I totally blew by the first paragraph that Fanny was a stepmother. I doubt she's totally evil, she probably just takes Sophie for granted. The book seems to be about Sophie learning to stand up for herself. It's been a while since I watched the Ghibli movie but I'm remembering a lot of things.

    Yeah, it was funny hoe Lettie and Martha switched. But I think the story will just follow Sophie from now on. And the mother's kind of the villain.

    Well as you see, everybody's walking around with the earphones in, so this was half right.

    The first two chapters were really setup. Very fairy tail like.

    Five or more. One time I remember distinctly, my parents had a compost pile and I threw a few crab apples in there. The yellow jackets or whatever were living in there and several came out and stung me before I even knew what was happening.

    I finished Squid Game. The ending was a little underwhelming but realistic, I suppose. As realistic as a show like that can be.

    I hate people that accelerate slowly! If there are ten people waiting at a light just be considerate and hit the damn gas! You might have nowhere to be but other people do! Yeah, I like to get where I'm going and I hate people who are puttering around and talking on the phone and crap. Same when I'm walking, actually. I wish. There are all these idiotic 20 MPH zones around me that everybody ignores because they're stupid. I was accelerating fast to get through a light and a cop stopped me.

    Oh yeah, absolutely, no question. It's so much nicer to not have the sun beating down on you, to not have people all over the place, and to have relative privacy outside.

    It's a Hollywood thing that guns go off when they're dropped. The gun manufacturers don't want to be sued and have enough trouble with legislature so they put a lot of money into safety.

    I don't drink coffee so something to wake up is helpful. But since energy drinks are expensive af I drink these: Somebody gave me some of these because they didn't like them. I agree. Terible! (but they were free so I finished them.):
