    As a Christian, I had this dilemma when I was a kid dealing with other forms of media. My conclusion was that as long as I wasn’t being driven to try my hand at stuff like spells or rituals, then I was fine. Really it comes down to the individual. If something temps you to sin, then it’s best to avoid it. What affects one person heavily might not affect another.

    I would prefer this. But if we HAVE to have cameos, I’d of course root for Princess Celestia. Ahuizotl too, but that’s about as likely as me spontaneously sprouting wings.

    Oh I didn’t tell you guys what I got for my Birthday! I got some high-powered binoculars for birdwatching. Way better than my little dinky ones I had before.

    It’s not really “ultra-religious”. If you believe the Bible is the word of God, then it Revelations carries the same weight as any other part of the book. EDIT: Though there ARE people that prefer to cherry pick bits and pieces out of personal convenience.

      Indeed! Apparently while I was gone they introduced actual steampunk costumes for some Neopets. But not for any of the species I have yet.

    I just found out that a cartoon from my childhood was an anime the whole time. I had NO IDEA. It was before the anime boom happened in the US, so my child self didn’t know what anime even was.

    Here’s the episode I looked up first:

    Grimm’s Fairy Tale Classics, circa 1987-1988. I think I had a few of them on VHS.

    I had the memory pop up in my mind and when I looked it up, I was like... “Wait a second... this isn’t Western animation at all!” XD

      @ShadOBabe I'm not extremely surprised. Saban was really into anime for a while. Saban made one of the earliest dubs of Dragonball Z, and got the ball rolling on the dub of Digimon. These dubs aren't completely faithful, but they still have their place in history. :proud:

    @TransitPony A couple points... The dragons of MLP are exclusively the winged kind found in Europe. Why did you pick Asian languages as their primary languages? Real world folklore has Changelings and their lore originate in Europe. So American English is an odd pick. Speaking English doesn't make sense as a default for ponies in general, since they apparently live everywhere. Large portions have apparently lived in MLP versions of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, and Ancient China, and there are likely others. Also... Ahuizotls: Nahuatl, aka Aztec (his pony tribe likely speaks it too) Buffalo: Any of the Plains Native American languages
