  1. Nominating 'Mezzanine' by Massive Attack. Most likely my all time favorite album considering I can listen to it in any mood, at any time, over and over and not get tired of it.
  2. My all time favorite movie is the Korean revenge-thriller Sympathy For Mr Vengeance and I feel like anyone who appreciates good movies should watch it but I haven't encountered another person outside of anonymous image boards who has even heard of it unfortunately. FYI it's by the same director who made Oldboy which is fairly well known, so if you liked that, please check it out. You will not be disappointed.
  3. I guess this is kinda like dark ambient? Electronica maybe? Either way, her album "The Entire City" is a really great listen, not too creepy, but dark, yes. http://youtu.be/SITjEw-jqlo

Been daytime drinking and rocking the fuck out with GG Allin since I woke up this morning. This album is probably my favorite of his.
  5. Early Leng T'che is good for when I'm feeling aggressive. Dat drummer. And this is a classic song for when you want to hate everything.
  6. "Do you know what the scariest thing is? To not know your place in this world. It's just an awful feeling."

  7. Discovered this the other day, checked it out because of anime reference and was pleasantly suprised. Maybe my mixtape of the year.
  8. Canadian here, you put it in a pitcher.
  9. When it comes to Swans, most of my favorite material is actually their live stuff. 'Public Castration', 'Kill the Child' and 'Swans Are Dead' are all so intense. http://youtu.be/9chKW9tsxQw http://youtu.be/kKxUkpMzlrc
  10. Garage rock/emo stuff that just came out at the start of this month. It's quite good for a debut album so I'm excited to see where these guys go from here.
  11. Neon Genesis Evangelion poster, a Hank Williams poster, a flyer for the show that Midnight played in my town and a scrappy theatrical poster for the movie Combat Shock.
  12. When I reach 600 posts, a bird will fly out of my mouth.

    1. Moog the Kvlt

  13. Yeezus was way too hyped. So far I've enjoyed Brotha Lynch's "Mannibal Lector" and Ghostface Killah's '12 Reasons To Die'. Tyler's 'Wolf' was pretty good too. I'm predicting 'Doris' by Earl for hip-hop AOTY. http://youtu.be/vh1U50vgde0 http://youtu.be/q2ZJBzAHidQ
  14. I fell asleep last night with my headphones in, iPod running and I must have laid on the shuffle button cause I woke up to this. Not an experience I would want to repeat.
  15. I rarely eat full meals except when my mom makes dinner. Breakfast is anathema to me, I am never hungry when I wake up (and usually it's considered 'lunch time' when I get up). I just eat lots of snacks throughout the day.
  16. Reading is one of my greatest joys next to listening to music (often the two go hand in hand for me). I just picked up the novelization of Battle Royale and am very excited to get started on it.
  17. This song pops into my head constantly while I've been at work all week. I guess it fits the mood, nothing ever seems to change.

Hatecore punk/RAC is usually a bunch of braindead rednecks, yelling about intolerance, playing really shitty tunes. These guys are a bunch of braindead rednecks, yelling about intolerance that play tunes I can bang my fist to. I'll admit it, I love Skrewdriver. inb4 omg stryker u racist!!1!
  19. >not liking Blink-182 Did you guys even have a childhood? Like, wow. This shit was my life in junior high school. Even now, this is good stuff.
  20. Relevant: http://youtu.be/mRVUe2Ha6dg
  21. Since I re-watched Ju-On last night, the ending credits song has been stuck in my head. Such a mellow, relaxing song for a movie that had me completely rigid with tension the first time I saw it.
  22. Layed in bed and listened to a four hour harsh-noise album after being awake for 30+ hours. It started to induce sleep-paralysis and I felt like spiders were all over me. 0/10 would not repeat.
  23. Japanese hardcore/emo/screamo that's a little atypical from some screamo you've probably heard. This is side A of a two-song EP, "Afterall, the Opinion of One in a Hundred Million Will Not Reach Anyone" which is probably the best of their material.
  24. “We are each our own devil, and we make this world our hell.”

  25. Been spinning my Marshall Mathers LP alot for the past few days. This song is so intense, probably Em's darkest song. That chorus will not leave my head. http://youtu.be/OcUgsvpchms
