Canada shuts out Colombia, 5-0! They're 2-1 in Pool C, tying the US.
Here's where it gets interesting. Mexico faces Great Britain later tonight, and they're 1-1 so far; they face Canada tomorrow. A win by Mexico tonight means the winner between them and Canada determines who advances to the quarterfinals in Miami.

If Taiwan defeats Cuba, they advance to the quarterfinals.
Unfortunately, they're now in a really huge hole. Bottom of the second, and already down 6-0.

Yeah, this episode is NOT good at all. All of the jokes at Sparky's expense are quarter-dimensional, lack any creativity, and reduce him to one note. The entire story revolved around poorly written jokes to set up Sparky farting in the climax. And every joke was low-hanging fruit. No effort whatsoever. Next! -
*sigh* Damn, two great walks this week.
Monday: Just under nine miles.
Today: Almost 12.5 miles.
Tomorrow: a well-deserved rest.

Why did Hasbro end the show?

It's been said, but there are two big reasons. Hasbro's a toy company and reboots their generations every decade or so. 2019 marked the near-end of Generation 4's life cycle, so it was time to start fresh. The show had been going on for a long time, while sustaining quality throughout. It can only go so long, though, before they run out of ideas. Season 9 marked the end at just the right time. -
Magic Duel. That episode was such a blast to watch more than ten years ago. And I think it still is. Besides, Trixie corrupted has a few memorable moments, including her refusal to trust wheels.

Tomorrow night, the Baseball Hall of Fame will announce whether the BBWAA will elect one, more, or none to Cooperstown. Todd Helton & Scott Rolen are both just over 75% and may not make it. Hope I'm wrong!

Pelé is one of soccer's all-time greats for reasons @daviddaviddavid already stated. He's in the conversation for GOAT among soccer players. He's nicknamed "O Rei" (translated to "The King") in 1958 and more than lived it up. RIP, King.
