I honestly love this noir style episode, Rarity's attention to detail, an effective mystery story regardless of a predictable culprit (sometimes the adventure is better than the outcome), Rarity and Rainbow Dash's interactions, and developing the wonderbolt's a bit with Wind Wider being the prized champion rider that is now disgraced. I really believe this to have a chance to not only be the season's best episode, but even one of the show's greatest episodes ever.

I'm actually surprised EQD jumped on the story so quickly as normally they try to avoid any topic that may invoke controversy unless it's proven to be true or if Horse News is garnering alot of traffic from it.

I still can't believe Lauren had to send that letter to a girl for all we know may not exist because she wants to take another jab at Hasbro. Seriously, I'm just worried that if this is all false, that person is going to get alot of hate mail for possibly trolling the fandom like this.

I can't believe EQD is now jumping on the bandwagon as they're reporting it too. Why they had to pay this news lip service?

I'm of the opinion the letter is a hoax myself as stated by Key Sharkz. Also, Horse News pointed out a flaw in the report is that the letter was sent to Hasbro Studios, not the actual Hasbro Headquarters in RI Pawtucket so even if it were true, it could be a case of sending it to the wrong one. Also, it was sent to their business side of the location so they're far more likely going to enact that ruling to ensure they're not liable to using fanwork or ideas in their product line. Only thing I wish was that Horse News at least considers the possibility the letter is a fake considering how this is something that would make Hasbro look bad, seems to have carried an anti-hasbro agenda in the reddit, and also why it was sent to hasbro studios in California instead of the actual one in RI?
