  1. Well, I commented on this video a year ago and totally forgot about it until just now, when someone else replied to me. I re-watched it and remembered why it was funny! Enjoy "The Laughter Song" a.k.a. "Giggle at the Ghosties" a.k.a. "Spontaneous Sounds/Movements from Contractions of a Diaphragm Targeted at Apparitions of the Dead"
  2. Oh good! Somepony else posted so now I can share these other ones I just found a few minutes ago and it will be separate! haha That gif though... (click to see it properly for some reason) *ehrmehgerd*
  3. Ya got that one right! haha Here's a little more Sunny fuel:
  4. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<\ ^ ^ True, that picture never gets old indeed! ^ ^ Well, it really would depend. All hypothetical, obviously. ^ ^ If she were human for me, or if we're talking about ol' Wind Sprint over there... ^ Either way would work well enough to receive a yes. But human-pony would be a no for me. I have most definitely shared each of these at least twice before, but they're befitting this moment once again...my favorite Human-Luna pics!
  5. Love the avatar!

Gah! I know, right?! I was expecting a huge fight between Yang and Adam, but nope!

Episode 12 is the last of this season and is set to air on roosterteeth.com on the 13th (earlier if you're a sponsor)

    3. Akemi Homura

      Akemi Homura

I have this headcanon that Cinder Fall manipulated Adam with lots of intercourse and that's why he's corrupt :<

Well I'm pretty sure that Emerald is the main reason he's so deluded now. I'm going to guess that RWBY's not going to get too far along the whole sexual-theme story-telling...

  6. But without video games, we wouldn't have Gamer Luna as our role model! Just look at this adorableness!
  7. How many photos are you trying to post simultaneously? 50mb goes quite a way with 100kb each... The photo I shared from my iphone was like, 650kb alone... Didn't mean to ignore you earlier! I was hurrying that post so I could get somewhere IRL. However, I've been the invisible stalker of the the fan clubs for quite some time without posting and today's been a bit different for me. Not really sure why. Perhaps because of the newest club member's question no one was answering... you?
  8. Feeling post-y today for some reason! haha (I haven't posted much in a while) Especially excited because this is Deadpool's week!
  9. ^^^^^^ What app? That was just in my web browser and photos. I'm certain there's a way to do it on windows...but I'm going to be useless on that front.
  10. **EDIT: Just realized I had this picture saved in my MLP folder...*** As for me:
  11. *looks at avatar* ... *facehoof* I couldn't tell! haha
  12. You're welcome! I'm usually able and willing to help with that kind of stuff. I had to do it a lot the first year I was on the forums. Tricky doing an instructional post from mobile, but it will be worth it! haha
  13. This is how I do it from my iphone: I thought it would be kind of fun to use my phone to upload pictures to show you, sort of like Inception if you think about it too much...
  14. Everypony...Luna is up against Tia on a new poll...Rise up, NLR! Rise up with the Moon! https://mlpforums.com/topic/146992-luna-or-celestia/
  15. Thanks Steel. But I don't recall being the one talking about "ewww English"...haha I think that was Voice Acting Honestly, I tend to enjoy most of the VA in anime, but why, oh why do 95% of the women have to have voices that sound like they're breathing helium instead of oxygen? Or why are they always sighing/giggling/whining? Oh it's the style? Got it. Do you wanna know how long the VA cast has been doing this? Well...for most of them, RWBY is either the first or second job they've had as actors, or at least their first major roles. Ruby = Lindsay (Tuggey) Jones; 1st role = RT's Red vs Blue machinima, followed by RWBY Weiss = Kara Eberle; 1st role = Weiss Schnee in RWBY Blake = Arryn Zech; 1st role = BG customer in a tv series called The Men Who Stare at Ghosts, followed by Red vs Blue and RWBY. Yang = Barbara Dunkelman; 1st role = Yang Xiao Long in RWBY Jaune = Miles Luna; 1st role = Red vs Blue, followed by Jaune Arc in RWBY Prof. Ozpin = Shannon McCormick; So far the most experienced actor, acting since 1995 Pyrrha = Jen Brown; 1st role = DCU-O, followed by Red vs Blue and RWBY Shall I continue?? The majority of the VA in RWBY has been done by people new to the scene who were already in-house with RoosterTeeth. Is the VA for Red vs Blue bad simply because it was in-house? Nope. Art Style RWBY was legitimately the first show I'd seen in this style (sure Youtube had shorts and stuff, but I'm talking series). My question, however, is to ask what makes you feel credible enough to claim that the art style is "inferior?" Is it just because you don't like the idea of 3-D anime? By tangent, are the Mayan pyramids any less significant than the Egyptian, simply because they're "Western" or smaller, or look more blocky? What would you say makes an art style superior or inferior to another? Your desire and perspective of it. That is all. So many people applaud Picasso for his unique art style...personally, I hate it. I would go as far as to call it "inferior" to realism. Why? Because I appreciate realism in art. I can't be bothered with all that abstract, emotionally-charged stuff. Does that make Picasso's creation's less desirable? To me? Yes. To art connoisseurs or professors who have studied art for decades, no. It makes Picasso unique and creative. If you do enjoy RWBY, why start such an antagonistic thread targeting it? People who enjoy things don't usually want to tear it down or throw it in the mud. Constructive criticism...yes. Mudslinging...no. Do you want to know the one thing about RWBY that bothers me more than anything? I can tell you that without hesitation: When the characters walk their feet slide around a bit rather than holding in place while the other leg is stepping. Example of Yang walking. https://youtu.be/QCw_aAS7vWI?t=27s You're bound to see this in any 3D generated video or game. Halo, Battlefield, RWBY, COD, Fable, Skyrim. Teaching 3D drawings their limits of what they can and cannot phase through is a tricky process that has always had bugs in my experience, so this isn't just an issue that RWBY has to deal with and as this is the case, I can't really rag on it because of this little flaw.
  16. Well, I probably should have just said he was Asian-American if we need to be PC about it. I have nothing against Americans in general (bein American myself and happy about it). According to a tweet from Monty before his passing (obviously): "@ShawnaKhut: @montyoum Quick question. What's your nationality?" I am Cambodian, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese! 15 Jun 2013" I must say I enjoyed your other rebuttal up there!
  17. Sure the voice acting isn't 5 Star quality, but it was Monty Oum's first major production. Monty happened to be of part-Japanese descent, despite being American born and raised. Oum was also primarily an animator, not a storyteller. So RWBY was more of a sandbox for Oum to test his styles and all that jazz. Also, it's a 3-D animated show, so it is vastly different from anime on those grounds alone, and honestly, its story is more believable than most of the anime I've watched so far. Maybe it's just the style, but shows like Tengen Toppa: Gurren Lagann is full of ultra-convenient plot twists that make it so the heroes always seemed to get the upper hand just by sheer force of will. American voice dubbing is often bad because they have to re-write the script and then the actors have to try to fit it into the same screen time and mouth movements. Not really all that easy of a task.
  18. I'm the one "other" so I have to explain (though it's not hard to explain anyway). It really simply depends on which name(s) you're looking to use. A few names could be acceptable and are already legitimate names. However, most of the the names on the show really only fit for the show (or, like has been said, strippers *ahem* I mean, Adult Entertainers... haha). AJ Dash (the Incredibles used Dashall as their son's full first name, though I've not met or heard of any IRL; what if they're super slow?) Belle Luna Cadance Maud Sunny Aria Sonata Adagio Trixie Suri Gilda Spike Prim Soarin (though it's usually seen as Sorin or Soren) Misty Joe Fleur Coco Randolph Claude Tom Clover (the Clever) Zecora Matilda Steve Will Gustave Violet Angel Winona Tiberius Ace Bill Mac Jona (Jonagold) Lily Octavia Rose Walter Wensley Each name above is either the direct name of a pony or other character, or in the case of Jona a derivation of the name beside it, that I probably wouldn't bat an eye at)
  19. That video was fantastic! I need to share it with my brother in law because I really didn't do the fandom justice when he was asking me about it. I've never been to a convention or even a group meeting or whatever, so my exposure to the fandom as a whole has been 100% over the internet via forums, photos, youtube and documentaries. Sadly, most of the documentaries I've seen don't seem to do the fandom justice either and seem to show those who do fit the stereotypes. If anyone here knows of some really good documentaries showing bronies as "normal," "average," "thin," "clean-shaven" or "well groomed," not-newsworthy-weird, or are otherwise breaking-the-stereotypes we bronies tend to get, please share them with me so I have more *umph* in my retorts! PM or here will work just fine! Be sure to quote me so I see it though if it's here! Thanks in advance!
  20. For a while it was the extremely loose "adaptation" of Eragon where they changed almost all the major details of how he became a dragon rider etc etc. Ruined my favorite book series with a piece of crap movie. If you knew my best friend he could tell you how vehement I was when that "thing" came out in theaters. However, The Last Airbender takes the #1 spot on my Worst Movies of All Time list. When you have 20+ hours of subject material from the first season alone and you screw up the pronunciation of the main freaking protagonist's name in the first five minutes, that's unforgivable. The bending choreography in the cartoon was fluid and you can see how their actions are correlating to the element being bent; but in the movie, they just do a whole lot of unrelated movements and it takes a squadron of earthbenders to move a tiny boulder... Whole movie was a slap to the face.
  21. I'm completely lost here...is Jeric banned as a fundraiser?? Apparently I need to follow more threads on here and keep up on the events a bit more... EDIT Oh wait, I found it! Goodness! haha
  22. Season 5 did help a lot with some of the background ponies. I always liked Minuette's design scheme, but I really loved her helping Twilight rekindle her old friendships. They gave her a great personality! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbiI-EsgGA0 I also instantly fell in love with Lyra's voice! Goodness me I've always loved Rainbow Dash's voice, but I melted when I heard Ball's portrayal of Lyra's voice! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIbkpgrdP5E However, my favorite all time background pony is one of the few that still remains a mute. Dear, dear Apple Fritter! I've loved her since the second episode I watched (the First episode of season 1; S1E7 Dragonshy was my gateway episode if that's what we can call it) Who was the first family member introduced by AJ?? Apple Fritter, my friends. Apple. Fritter. Watch the proof here: She's also shown up in pretty much every Apple family activity and a few others as well. I just love her design (I've found I'm a sucker for pigtails and dual braids etc) Lastly, Merry Christmas and Happy Hearth's Warming from AF!
