Thanks for this! I used to have a roommate that was obsessed with his computers and laptops. Heck, I'm obviously typing this on my laptop! I love my laptop! But I rarely use it to play games. Over the years, I've found I much more enjoy the feel of a good, comfortable controller (Xbox, Dreamcast, N64 are my favorites) and I can't stand trying to play most games with a mouse, but mostly because of the keyboard. The only PC games that I've kept over the years are Roller Coaster Tycoon, and the Command and Conquer collection up to Yuri's Revenge. RTS games are great with a mouse and keyboard! However, trying to play one with an Xbox controller is a freaking nightmare (looking at you C&C RA3 and Halo Wars...) That roommate I mentioned was adamant that his version of Skyrim on PC was far superior to my 360 version because he downloaded a graphics mod that let him see detailed ants crawling along a stump while mine just looked like an afterthought. Frankly, I told him that that point literally held no sway over my opinion of the game because the gameplay, missions and weapon choices were not affected at all by any of his precious pixels.

When I finally caved in and started giving MLP a chance, Rainbow Dash was quickly my favorite. She is athletic, sarcastic and snarky, all of which I love. Her voice is perfect for the character and her humor fits me perfectly. I first watched Dragonshy as my introduction to the series. However, not until 18 months later when I actually started watching the show did I discover my true MLP love: Hooves down, my favorite pony in the show. Rainbow Dash is still my favorite of the Mane 6, and Pinkie Pie has grown on me a lot the more I've watched the series. She's starting to rival RD for the title. But, Apple Fritter is my MLP waifu for sure.- 26 replies

I sure do hope that's an open slot I see in the OP... If you finish your current list, I'd love to see your take on Wind Sprint! Colored I have yet to have a human version of him, so I think I'll request a human from you. Then, if you feel like it, I'd be intrigued to see his pony version in your style as well! I don't care about the pose(s). WIND SPRINT He is a coach and loves to run and fly fast and far. His favorite sport is soccer (as can be seen by the cutie mark). He enjoys helping others learn to improve their skills in sports and how their athletic endeavors translate to their everyday lives. Optimistic and sees the best in everypony he meets. Species: Pegasus Gender: Male Mane: Blue and Orange Tail: Blue and Orange Eyes: Orange Coat: White He usually wears the hoof covers, but can go without. Mmm. Wind Sprint is sort of the embodiment of myself and it did take me a while to decide on that name and look, so he'll be staying as he is for the time being. That being said, perhaps it is time to create a second OC that isn't just a ponified copy of myself...this is gonna take some serious thought! Good luck with Mourning!

Woohoo! Glad to be of help! The more I read Mourning Soul, the more I realize just how dark that undertone actually was. A soul crying in sadness, but also sounding like the beginning of a new day full of hope and beauty. Yikes. I'm starting to see a lot of meaning that could go into it. I didn't even think this hard about MY oc! haha. Good ol' Wind Sprint over there...haha

Hoped it was worth consideration! Didn't know you wanted a double homophone though... hmm... After some thinking, the only double homophone I can think of that still relates to sun/day is Mourning Soul = Morning Sol (Sol being Latin for the Sun). However, I feel this may lack the additional dark undertone, unless you're good with Mourning filling that role.

I was a part of the MLPF World Cup 2014, and it was HUGE! It got a rough start though with how messed up the March Madness tournament had become just before we kicked ours off with preliminaries and friendlies leading up to June. The members were like :=: by the end of the March Madness... Thankfully, I don't have to worry about it as much since I'm not planning to have the MLPF WC again until 2018 (in line with the next FIFA World Cup of course). The previous host was planning to do the next one in 2017 to avoid conflict with the FIFA cup, but seeing as he is no longer on the forums, he asked me to take charge of it and I'm all for holding it in 2018 as originally scheduled. ========================================================================== As for this Tournament, I was very impressed with how well Coloratura did! For being so new to the canon, she held off some major opponents! I wish Marble Pie made it just a little further though and by that I mean that she made it into the tournament...so cuUute! :comeatus: In regard to Luna, I'm now depressed since she's not in this finale... But I'm guessing that the majority of the Rarity fan club has not made it over to this thread yet, else she'd be miles ahead of Twily based on how proactive all her fans are here.- 361 replies

I started watching two years ago just after I turned 25 (been 2 years and 1 month actually!). About 18 months before then I had a roommate at college that was a brony and over the year I finally let him show me Dragonshy re-voiced imitating a character named Professor Layton. However, it wasn't until 18 months had passed that I came across MLP on my Netflix account and figured, "what the heck, I'm bored, and the clips I've seen were funny." I was hooked.

Not sure if that's on the horizon...haha. My guess is my sister will be making something on the theme of Valentine's day this weekend, so I'll see what she comes up with. Not a bad idea though! Looks like some people have done that already!
