If it's a flash animation you made yourself, adding a preloader featuring a "play" button would fix the auto-play issue.

It doesn't appear you can add custom emoticons to your channels. I am fairly sure the emoticons are universal between all of the channels hosted on EQ TV.

Try drawing individual body parts/objects over and over again until you get their general shape down. Once you do that with all the body parts on a creature/pony/person or all the objects you want in a scene, it's much easier to draw a complete picture from scratch.

We need to frame this beauty. Let me just clear up a spot on the wall for it, we'll just throw out something that's not nearly as perfect to make room.

Dark humor can be used correctly in the right context. But there's a time and place for it, and you should know your audience before trying to make such jokes.

My name, "Tholos" is a type of Roman structure. I just have a great love for Roman History and Latin as a language. Plus I think it does a pretty good job of summarizing my personality, in that it's probably easy to tell that I'm a more scientifically minded person just from the username.

Pretty good for a short poem. I think you mean "is", not "are", though. It's an understandable mistake, especially if you're not a native English speaker.

Woops, I forgot to make this thread when I initially signed up a few hours ago. Oh well, better late than never, right? I am Tholos, an intellectual of sorts. I have been a member of the fandom for only a short while, only since around the middle of Season 2 or so. I try to be the most helpful and kindest I can be to all of those around me, as objectivity is a concept I hold dear and I believe that objectively there is no reason not to treat other people well. This is far from the first forum I've been on, and I'm quite familiar with IP Board and how it works, so it's not likely I'll need help navigating the forums or using their features, but I am however interested in meeting people and making new friends. My favorite pony is, by far, Twilight Sparkle, as I can relate to her quite a bit. Do not let my outwardly formal appearance fool you, I tend to be silly from time to time, and enjoy a good laugh. In my spare time, I either read, play video games, watch ponies, or go on long walks. I find all four of those activities very relaxing and together they keep me calm and happy enough.

For avatars, you simply need to make a gif that is 150x150 (Or 150x200 if you're a subscriber/donor). It also must be smaller than 100 Kilobytes. You will need a program that is capable of making animated gifs in order to resize one to the correct dimensions. If you have a particular picture in mind, I would be more than glad to resize it for you. Just PM me a link to the picture you want to use as your avatar. For backgrounds, it is the same concept, except the limit is 255 Kilobytes. It's a bit more complicated since you'll rarely find gifs of a high quality that both fill most (or all) of the screen and are also under 255 Kilobytes. Perhaps you'd want a smaller gif and then you could tile it in order to save yourself some frustration in the long run. If you need any more help, don't hesitate to let me know.
