No, I haven't.
Understood. I've never read "Stormy Road," but I would recommend the comics. They're not required to enjoy the movie, but some additional material can help.

Question: Have you read any of the prequel material; specifically the four issue prequel comics, as well as the "Stormy Road to Canterlot?" If you will be be looking at the movie with those as further context?

Do what you need to man; we'll still be here for yah whenever you return.

It may not be your magnum opus, but by god was the emotion real. I never really got to know your wife, but you two indeed had...well, 'have' the ideal partnership, relationship, love, whatever you call it.
My mother went through her own devastating loss with the death of her adult daughter, and while she deals with it admirably, it's still visible that the pain is real, and like this is a pain that won't go away. Still, she holds the memories of her little girl close to her heart, and she still carries on the best she can.
Love yah; Jeric. As a brother, as a friend, whatever is best to describe it. I hold strong admiration for you, your daughters, and of course, Jess. May her memory live on through the ages, and I am sure it will.

Apologies Lil Pip; discretionary notice was added for the bits of gore.
Thanks.

Farewell; may the road you're on take you to the plains of happiness.

Gotta say that I concur wholeheartedly. Honestly, just watching the archery & shooting events have really helped me to realize that, and I'm glad there are those who still hold these honorable ideals.

I'm just so fascinated by this important period in your life. I can't really imagine myself in a similar position, so just imaging this all in my head is quite the experience.
I can only imagine what kind of learning experience that was for you as you matured.

Oh god; that picture is priceless in so many ways. <3
But yeah, interesting how things turn out in the end and it's amazing you can remember in decent detail like that. Plus, "Pencil Brows" should be a pony OC somewhere. XD

Did you get to personally meet the always charming Jenn Blake - otherwise known as "Discount Peter New" or the "Patron Saint of Lesbians"?
Actually...no. Between trying to make the planned panels & marketplace browsing, the only comic person I spoke with was Jeremy Whitley; who autographed the copies of Princeless #1 and Siege of the Crystal Empire that I bought. I really need to meet the others the next time I go. ^^;;

Unfortunately I somehow missed those mugs. I'll have to put that on my "must get at least one" list for my next con/BronyCon. XD

Let me just say that it was a honor and pleasure to finally meet the Bat behind the name. May Deer/Bat-Pony relations continue to grow.

Still thinking of both Jess & you; as well as your family in general. I can't imagine the road you're on, but her suggestion really sounds like the best thing to do.
Can't wait to hear more from this.

Elo, I consider you one of my closest friends; ever. To see the person you have grown to be, the person you have strived to be, leaves me with nothing but pride. As I have always said you are a strong individual with a big heart, and I fully believe the future is ever bright for you.
Congratulations Elo! You have fully deserved it.

As always Elo I admire you for how much strength you have. While I won't pretend to know the entirety of the situation you had to deal with, I remain happy and proud of the woman you have become. <3

How many times do I have to say this? Tater Tot TMI! D:
Seriously though reading this puts thing into perspective; I really can't imagine what it is like to live with it, but the fact that you are here with us and with your wonderful attitude to boot really puts into view your character. Of course I know it doesn't help the pain & all, but I'm glad you shared that with us.

Wow! That suit looks absolutely frightening! Probably on par with GMK-Goji on looks. <3
Of course with this being a teaser it is difficult to garner much from it, but it looks awesome!

This was absolutely a beautiful read! Even though our experiences are different, I feel that the forums have largely had a similar effect on the both of us. Even though I won't be at BABS this year, I do hope we get to meet face to face sometime!
Also, let's just say I'm fawn-d of you.

Oh, I have fond memories of this series. Too bad it didn't last as it had an interesting concept; moreso than SuperLeague Formula, IMO.

In a sense I feel like I can relate. Granted I have no moving plans at this time, but I know what it feels like to have a close connection with your parents. The only time I've really been away from my current geographic area was during my college years; and even then that was only a few hours away. Still, I can understand your worries.
Of course, if I moved I'm not sure how my mother would handle it, but I doubt she nor my father would want to move with me, and as they would tell me, they have earned that right. Your parents probably feel the same, and it is their right. Granted I can understand your worries, but that comes with big changes.
Just hold up and do what you can; you will make it through this in time and hopefully become adjusted to the big changes that have and will occur.

In all honesty these are question I continually ask myself as I'm in a similar boat; though 29, a college graduate, and hold a steady job.
It's never an easy question to answer, and not everyone finds an answer for it. I hope you find that inner-peace in time my friend. *hug*

Any plans to review any more comics? While the main series is still up and down (I thought the recent Chaos Theory and Ponies of Dark Water arcs were good), the recent movie prequel comics, and Legends of Magic series have been pretty good, at least from my standpoint.
