  1. It may not be your magnum opus, but by god was the emotion real. I never really got to know your wife, but you two indeed had...well, 'have' the ideal partnership, relationship, love, whatever you call it.

    My mother went through her own devastating loss with the death of her adult daughter, and while she deals with it admirably, it's still visible that the pain is real, and like this is a pain that won't go away. Still, she holds the memories of her little girl close to her heart, and she still carries on the best she can.

    Love yah; Jeric. As a brother, as a friend, whatever is best to describe it. I hold strong admiration for you, your daughters, and of course, Jess. May her memory live on through the ages, and I am sure it will.

  2. I'm just so fascinated by this important period in your life. I can't really imagine myself in a similar position, so just imaging this all in my head is quite the experience.

    I can only imagine what kind of learning experience that was for you as you matured.

  3. Did you get to personally meet the always charming Jenn Blake - otherwise known as "Discount Peter New" or the "Patron Saint of Lesbians"?

    Actually...no. Between trying to make the planned panels & marketplace browsing, the only comic person I spoke with was Jeremy Whitley; who autographed the copies of Princeless #1 and Siege of the Crystal Empire that I bought. I really need to meet the others the next time I go. ^^;;

  4. Elo, I consider you one of my closest friends; ever. To see the person you have grown to be, the person you have strived to be, leaves me with nothing but pride. As I have always said you are a strong individual with a big heart, and I fully believe the future is ever bright for you.

    Congratulations Elo! You have fully deserved it. :)

  5. How many times do I have to say this? Tater Tot TMI! D:

    Seriously though reading this puts thing into perspective; I really can't imagine what it is like to live with it, but the fact that you are here with us and with your wonderful attitude to boot really puts into view your character. Of course I know it doesn't help the pain & all, but I'm glad you shared that with us. :)

  6. In a sense I feel like I can relate. Granted I have no moving plans at this time, but I know what it feels like to have a close connection with your parents. The only time I've really been away from my current geographic area was during my college years; and even then that was only a few hours away. Still, I can understand your worries.

    Of course, if I moved I'm not sure how my mother would handle it, but I doubt she nor my father would want to move with me, and as they would tell me, they have earned that right. Your parents probably feel the same, and it is their right. Granted I can understand your worries, but that comes with big changes.

    Just hold up and do what you can; you will make it through this in time and hopefully become adjusted to the big changes that have and will occur. :)

  7. In all honesty these are question I continually ask myself as I'm in a similar boat; though 29, a college graduate, and hold a steady job.

    It's never an easy question to answer, and not everyone finds an answer for it. I hope you find that inner-peace in time my friend. *hug*
