First of Starlight is not a communist. Second, I somewhat agree with you. Discord was always kept under a watchful eye and hardly trusted, but everyone instantly forgave Starlight. She got off easy. Although what she did in the "town" wasn't that bad. She was thoroughly convinced cutie marks were an issue, and just wanted everyone to be happy and never have to have their souls crushed like she had, and that's what those people thought too... kind of. She wasn't doing it out of being a cruel person like Discord, she actually thought what she was doing was the right thing.

Maybe, but EQG is pretty crappy without Sunset. Every other character is already in the original show and to add to it their movie counterparts are just less developed versions of them. I'd say the biggest draw to equestria girls is sunset shimmer. Even Rainbow Rocks would have suffered without her. Sure, the songs would still be great but imo the best parts were the ones with Sunset, especially the huge, satisfying payoff where she earns her pony form by helping to defeat the dazzlings.

Yeah, I guess you could think that. Starlight just automatically got everyone's respect, but Sunset had to actually work for it.

Instead of yearning for a revival of how the fandom used to be, just cherish the memory. It isn't coming back, so don't bother waiting

At first, I had no clue it was a thing. I just saw tons of people with MLP gif avatars and I thought they were hilarious (a few I remember are RD doing sonic rainboom, fluttershy going crazy in TBNE, and random objects falling on twilight from FPK) I had also had the infamous "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic provides a realistic representation of life in Ponyville" being recommended to me on youtube, and I thought the thumbnail was funny. Although after seeing all this, I didn't know bronies were a thing and I just assumed it was another internet thing.

What logic are you basing this off of, OP? There's flourishing fandoms for shows that have ended years, even decades ago. It's a fact that fans and content creators alone can keep it going. Three years is NOTHING in terms of fandoms.

I plan on rewatching all of the equestria girls here shortly (mainly for rainbow rocks, it was sooo good) Which reminded me of the Friendship Games deleted scenes, boy do those really get on my nerves. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_d3TV_cjrU It's no doubt the movie would of been a thousand times more interesting with those scenes, and I can't really see any practical reason outside of maybe run time and budget that they didn't put them in. I think all of us here can agree the biggest draw to Equestria Girls is Sunset Shimmer, yet Friendship Games had a notable lack of her. It just seemed like she was pushed off to the side, and upon finding and watching the deleted scenes you can totally see why. Most of her story was cut out. Instead they decide to focus on a character that already exists in the main show. At least she was kind of in the spotlight during Everfree, but she was kind of having to share it with Human Twilight. And that's one of the main reasons I love Rainbow Rocks, because it has some of Sunset Shimmer's best moments. I have more to say, but this is getting long already, peace all.

People come and go. Some stay. Just because "well-known" people in the fandom leave, doesn't mean it's dying. In fact, there are probably new people coming in that replace them (although probably won't replace their contributions to the fandom). Stop worrying if the fandom is dying and just enjoy life.

So over the summer I moved away, and accidentally forgot a few old drawings. Well now that I'm visiting where I used to live again, I've found them and decided to color them. This is the first one, two more to come.

Because I love redemption stories, her voice, and her hair style and color scheme. Sunset's story in EQG is far from the best redemption story, but I still can't help but love it. That's just the short answer.

At the end of Applejack's Day Off it was revealed most of Applejack's work was extremely inefficient, and once removed, still got the job done right and a lot quicker, so actually that is completely ruled out as something bad Rarity has done, because she wasn't actually wasting Applejack's time. Applejack was wasting Applejack's time. She wasn't even trying to sabotage Applejack, just let her have some much needed rest from the overwhelming workload she had.

Irl im a male, but in equestria I'd be female. I definitely identify as male irl but I simply like how mares look in mlp. Stallions just look weird, especially in front view.

AAAAA KILL ME I was afk in the bathroom and my dad goes into my room to place my dinner on my desk I had totally forgotten what I had on my monitor... which was, of course, derpibooru. Thousands of pictures of pony. Princess luna to be exact. I get out, he says nothing about it to me, but there's no way he DIDN'T see it. I hope he never mentions it. He doesn't know I like MLP and I DON'T want anyone to know. aaaaaaaggg Funny thing is, which makes this worse, usually when I go afk if I'm looking at pony stuff I open up a new window or something to make it look like I'm doing other stuff and you can't see the mlp stuff, but this ONE TIME that I forget, someone happens to go right up to my computer and see it.
