  1. Whatever we want. It depends on the family in question, what they're in the mood for, what's part of their diet, what's available, etc. If you are asking about common staples; there's cheeseburgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, BBQ, etc. However, America is a multicultural country with people from many different heritages. So depending on your family's heritage, you might prefer to other kinds of dishes more often. Do you like cheese-filled hotdogs/sausage?
  2. I really have been enjoying this event. I hope everyone else has. I've given some flowers, and yet received more than I gave. I love when friendship is around every corner.
  3. Flash Event: Ice Breaker Silky <3 ...But Adobe discontinued Flash in 2020.
  4. To finish that darn model kit I started. Are you happy to be here?
  5. No. But someday, I will. Are you ready to tag someone?
  6. All right, let's just go for it. How different would your life be if you never accessed the internet? Long story short? I would be way more social with people IRL. Might have been employed at way more jobs. And since TV and movies were my world back when I was a kid, I think the same would be true. Might get extra invested in video games instead of becoming a casual gamer. Might have more physical hobbies; I all ready enjoy puzzles and model kits. Who knows if I'd actually be married with kids by now or not. I know younger people might panic at the idea of not having internet or any kind of smart technology; but if you think about it, you don't miss what you never had. You just fill that void in your life with other things. Do you think your personality would be significantly different if you never accessed the internet? Maybe. Depends on how much I open myself up to seeing things from various points of view. I've been through many things on the internet, and was almost lead astray a few times. But at the very least, being on the internet challenged me to see things from many different aspects and walks of life. I can truly say I am better and wiser for it. If you were now transported to an alternate universe where the technology level is similar except that the internet never arose, how much would you struggle to adjust to this world? And this right here is why I chose to answer these questions. I was born in the mid 80's. Between that and the mid 90's, I can remember a time when people didn't commonly have computers in their homes. I remember how people lived before everyone had smart phones and mobile technology. I could easily adapt to that life again and teach others to do the same. It would be emptier in many ways. There are friends I made online that I might never get to hear from again if the internet suddenly stopped existing. There are shows and movies I might never get to see. There are a lot of adjustments, definitely; probably more than I realize. But I would learn to adapt. Any other thoughts come to mind in relation to this topic? I would love to know how the world itself would be if the internet was never invented or never made available to the general public. How many local businesses would still exist? Would the ever rising issue of inflation be less of a problem? Would video game consoles go back to old school methods instead of relying on DLC to fix performance issues? How smart would our devices be if they aren't relying on an internet signal? Would we have smart technology at all? Would we have as many international TV show and movie options as we do now if we were all relying on physical releases? Would we eventually invent something else to support and engage in if social media doesn't exist? So many questions...
  7. It kind of defeats the purpose of getting your work done early if you have to keep doing the same task over and over and over again.
