Hello there, my crowd! Welcome to my Weekly Musings: Orange Edition.
[I ❤ JAPAN] -- [I ❤ THE COLOR RED] -- [I ❤ CELESTIA]
Feel free to leave a video request. Your video will eventually be featured in a future Weekly Musings entry!
Hey there, my crowd!
Did you miss this?
So I guess the biggest thing to report is something my uncle is going through. He had some dental surgery. It's kind of gruesome, so to put it lightly, he decided to trade dentures for a more permanent fixture. He's in pain from it, and there is going to be a learning curve when he gets his permanent teeth put in (he is using temporaries right now). But for now, he is taking it easy and just eating soft foods.
Also, I helped my mother by installing some new mini blinds in her house.
I recently purchased something awesome!
I got a display case for my various USB flashdrives. The one aspect I don't like is they are propped up through a wall of foam. I am gonna hope and pray that the foam doesn't disintegrate over time. Wish they had gone with a stronger material. However, all the stronger cases available didn't store as many as the one I got. For now, I am very happy with it.
I recently saw that new King of the Hill season.
It was okay. Not perfect, but not terrible either. For the most part, I think the spirit of the show is still there. It didn't give me everything I personally wanted out of a season like this, but it's hard to get perfection with stuff like this. We're talking about a new season that is being made well-after the fact. The original show had a pretty solid, pretty conclusive finale. Kind of hard to keep going when you've wrapped everything up so nicely. But I'd say these are still the characters you know and still the same spirit that was in the original, despite the changes made to reflect the passage of time. While I've heard Hulu might slowly be disappearing, I do hope this show gets one more season.
Not much has been happening in pop culture. I did see an announcement trailer for a He-Man video game. I am somewhat excited.
I need to see more. The trailer makes it look like it will be a short campaign. Not sure why they decided to go with retro pixel art style. If this game had been released in the 90's, I would have probably loved it as the video game experience fans deserved. However, the only thing I can say about it now is... Better late than never? Something is better than nothing? I would have preferred fully-realized 3D, potentially with open world. Maybe the main campaign will be longer than the trailer is showing. Maybe there will be way more content than we expect. But for now, I am just glad we are getting SOMETHING.
That's it for now, my crowd.
Take care, and upgrade.
Some know that I once started making a blog about historical samurai facts. Well, I won't be bringing that back, because someone way more qualified has it covered! As an example, here's "Samurai-san, why that hairstyle! Explained." by Kyota Ko.

Thank you for replying, my friend!
Here's the stock image of it.
SpoilerIt's one of the very few that stores over 100 flash drives. And because they are propped upright, I can read the labels I put on each of my flash drives.
I numerically label all my flash drives, and I have a spreadsheet that explains what is in each flash drive. Only have less than 30 right now, but this makes it easier to find each one rather than having them rattle around loose in a plastic bag.
