    Hmmm, I would say anime, but then, I actually like the mangas who are adapted in anime, even if today a lot of animes actually don't have an original manga... Also, anime is generally more mature than cartoons, but then, "cartoons" is for people now the name for children's animated series which are made in an american fashion, so I don't really consider anime and cartoons the same thing...
