Lightning Roller

Lightning looks over at Lyme, "Do you actually know where it is? Because that would make this much easier.." He looks over to zecora, "Even if we know where this cave is, how exactly are we going to get them back in? its not like we can just grab every single one and take it back.." He laughs lightly, then looks to blaze, "What do you think? Up for an adventure?" He gives blaze a smirk before looking to zecora.

So I did have another art thread, but I wanted to try out a new style. I liked giving the ponies a furry look and played with a sharper wing design. opinions?

(Pardon the late reply as I have been busy lately) OOC- Zecora gave each pony a glance before she reached into her saddlebag and pulled out a old, worn, purple book. She flips through it until she finds the page she is looking for and looks up, "These creatures are called camberchigs, they dine on wood, feasting like pigs. Magically touch wood is what they crave most, the takes makes them morose." She gives the crowd of ponies a look, searching for something, "At least non of you posses a horn, if you did, you would surely mourn." She looks down at the pages, continuing the story, "Long ago they spread throughout the land, consuming all until their final stand. A brave unicorn by the name starswirl sealed them away, and until now they have not seen the light of day." She looks up, "Unfortunately it doesn't say where to find this cave, without this knowledge our situation is grave." She shuts the book, looking to everypony, "Will anyone volunteer for this quest? our fate lies with those who face this test."

I really like A, C, and E. they all look unique and fantastic, and a mash-up of the three would be interesting as they all have some nice details that would complement each other :3

OOC- (Dax, blaze, lightning, lyme) As zecora makes her way into town, she hears the fight erupting near sugarcube corner and takes off towards it, "Follow me, quickly!" she yells back to the stallion as she sprints towards the commotion. As she hangs the corner, she sees the fight erupting between the wolves and two stallions and she gives a mighty yell, "Stop, you know not what your doing! your actions will be equestria's undoing!" she pulls a mysterious looking flute out of one of her bags and begins to play into it, the flute glows faintly green and the wolves slowly stop and turn to look at her, their gazes dazed. "Now heed my words pony folk, these rocks you see are not a joke. They are ancient beasts from old times, the danger they pose is beyond normal crimes." She looks around at the ponies before her, looking to see if they would listen.

OOC- (Dax) The zebra gives you a confused look, "Yes, come along, we mustn't hang around for too long. And the tree of harmony is what I said, it protects all ponies from feelings of dread." The zebra makes her way towards ponyville, her pace somewhat hurried. "I saw the timberwolves run this way, we must protect them like they have done for many days." Lightning accelerates back towards the fight, backpedaling as he came near blaze. "How do you want to handle this?" He gives blaze a glance as he watched the timberwolves below. Lightning casually pulls a bottle of water out of his satchel and takes a swig while waiting for his answer Nothing like cool water on a day like this... He laughs lightly.

OOC- (Dax) The zebra turns to you, "You have nothing to fear, unless you have a horn my dear.." She goes over to a nearby rock resting on top of some wet grass and gives it an abrupt shove with one of her hooves. The stone rolls over, taking a chunk of moist earth with it and before your eyes the dirt crumbles to reveal 6 spiny legs and a pair of pincers about 4 inches long. The creature quickly begins to roll back and forth until it rights itself and quickly scurries away behind a tree. The zebra gives you a I told you so look and says, "We must act now before it's too late, the tree of harmony's situation is dire and cannot wait." She motions to you to follow her as she leaves the forest and heads towards town. OOC- (Preistess) The larger wolf snarls and slurred words seething with anger can be heard in your head, "I told them", "they obey me", "YOU attacked us first", "Do NOT follow" The wolf lets out a resounding howl and the remainder of the pack turns towards town, putting themselves between you and the pack leader as the group sprints away from the forest.

OOC- (Priestess) The larger wolf locks gazes with you, again its fragmented speech drifts into your thoughts, "Ancient creatures", "Hunt magic", "Consume wood", "We're ideal targets", It lets out a low snarl before nodding its head towards one of the circling wolves and lets out a howl. The circling wolves charge at you, from your left a wolf jumps and it throws its body at you in an effort to free its pack mate. The other wolves feint their charge and instead run past, running towards the fight occurring in town. OOC- (Dax) You can hear a pony approaching from the forest, as you turn to see who it is, you can see that it is a zebra and she appears to be hauling a book and a few items with her.

Lightning sees a wolf approaching lyme and grits his teeth, I hope this works..... Lightning climbs high and pulls his wings in to his body, letting gravity slow and stop him as he twists his body mid-air to face the ground. He spreads his wings and dives as fast as he can, his eyes focused on lyme and the wolf, his body begins to tingle, his hair flaps wildly, and as the ground accelerated towards him he yelled to lyme , "Sorry about this!" , there was a flash of light and a loud boom as lightning rebounded off the air and grabbed lyme, yanking him down the street, leaving a trail of sparks in their wake. Feeling as though he was at a safe distance, lightning slowed and hovered over a nearby house, hefting lyme onto the roof, "Not exactly what I had in mind, but I'll take it." He smirks and beats his wings, accelerating back towards blaze and the ensuing fight. OOC- The encircling pack lets out a chorus of low growls, a larger wolf can be noticed just outside, Its eyes locked on you. The pack does not slow its circle and the larger wolf lets out a low, reverberating growl. The pinned wolf makes more attempts to get free, its limbs pushing against you in an effort to throw you off, it wriggles its body to try to get away.

Lightning gives blaze a quizzical look, shrugs, cracks his neck, and dive bombs into one of the wolves like a bolt of lightning yelling, "TIIIIMMMBEEERRR!" The wolf takes the impact and breaks apart, the others dive out of the way, snarling in rage. Lightning tucks, rolls, and springs upwards, stretching his wings wide as he takes off back into the air. "I suggest we either push them back into the forest or herd them into a cage!" he yells towards blaze, "We cant exactly let them continue through ponyville!" He reaches his peak height and gives blaze a wink as he prepares for another dive.

OOC- the timberwolf thrashes and fragmented speech flashes in your mind, "Predator", "Run", "Rocks", It continues to thrash, attempting to get free and run. A few timberwolves have stopped to watch you, circling in a wide arc with low growls in their throats. They appear ready to attack, glancing at their pinned pack mate.

OOC - As blaze ignites his sword, the timberwolves attempt to make their way past them in a flurry. A few of the wolves lock gazes with blaze as they notice the flaming sword and slow down to see what the stallion would do. To the wolf that has been mounted by a mysterious mare, it attempts to throw you off by stopping and rolling over to throw your balance, giving a casual swipe as its belly turns to you.

Lightning peeks out of the door at the commotion, watching the timberwolves sprint past in a flurry with a mare on top of one. "What in the world......" His jaws drop as he watches this mare ride a timberwolf. "today just keeps getting more and more interesting..." He sees lyme look disturbed and follows his eye line to the everfree forest in the distance, "Rocks? are those the creatures that you saw in the everfree forest?" Lightning is then distracted by a sudden burst of flame as blaze sets his sword on fire, "IS there ANYTHING ELSE that anyone would like to share?..... Because this is slowly becoming the strangest day of my life!" He then looks to the other two stallions with a shocked but quizzical look in his face.

(OOC - For everyone currently in ponyville, Yelling can be heard in the distance with the word "Timberwolves" being cried out by multiple ponies, for anyone on the edge of town nearest the everfree forest, an unusually high number of rocks can be seen in the tree line. As the wolves sprint through town, they don't seem to give any notice to ponies and are just trying to get away from the forest, plowing over anything that's in their way.)

Lightning gets up and takes his cup over to the trash, stretching his aching limbs as he does so. He makes his way over to the door next to lyme and looks back at blaze, "I'm ready to go if you are man, but does anyone know where the herbalist is?" He laughs lightly, "I don't spend very much time here if you can tell..." Lightning looks back at the table and realizes his bags are still sitting on the floor, he quickly makes his way back over and grabs them, throwing the satchels over his back as he makes his way back to the door.

Lightning looks at blaze, "Well most of them are probably busy right now, I'm sure that somepony here in ponyville must know. Could always try asking the local herbalist shop seeing as that's where the zebra would most likely go." He finishes off what's left of his coffee, a slight look of disappointment in his eyes, "Shall we be on our way?" He looks at the two stallions, raising an eyebrow.

There are already apps for pony music, for IOS its called Pony Unite, for Android its called Ponyville Live! they both stream a wide selection of brony music radio, but not very much has been done in the way of talk radio.... That would be nice to see....
