I think its safe to say that Tirek did try to murder Twilight, and the chimera did try to eat Apple Bloom. Sometimes ponies, or at least sapient creatures in that world, go for the throat.

I entirely agree with the whole "keep your kids on some kinda leash" angle, as well as the "when life gives you lemons" bit. Really, I don't disagree at all with you. What gets my goat is all the strange fridge logic that comes from the fact that the writers never addressed what happened when a kid, fresh off getting his cutie mark, just wanders off, presumably never to be seen again. That seems like a pretty important thing to not address. Like yeah, its important for the plot and all that it happens that way, but that's got some unfortunate implications when I think about it too hard. And yes, I fully acknowledge that this is just me thinking too hard. I'm not actually gunna hold it against the episode. Overall though, I felt the episode was pretty meh. Sure there were a few good bits, but over all, I just wasn't grabbed by this one. Now I'm not calling bad on this one. Not really, that would require it to actually mess something up. It just didn't stick for me.

Okay seriously, Trouble Shoes's parents have got to be the most neglectful parents ever! Your kid just got his cutie mark and his dreams crushed, best let him live in the middle of nowhere for a decade or so! Its not like he'd be hard to find. Just follow the trail of destruction! I liked it. – Straight up five stages of grief – Got to hear Dashie sing again – More confirmation for Dashie being the clingy one – I'm a big weatherpony fan, so all those pegasi and Cloudsdale bits were great fun! – "I can't bear to see Fluttershy cry" and "Applejack cries on the inside!" "Its true" – Though I have to admit, dat game of thrones reference felt a bit forced. Good premise, good jokes, okay song that served its purpose yet featured Dashie so its great, and plenty of good faces. So, I give this episode a clingyRainbowDash/10

Pretty solid! -- Gotta love the way MLP handles surreal dream stuff. -- Ya know, I actually kinda wanted Applebloom to be Equestria's Dale Gribble, or maybe Ghostbusters would be a better comparison? Pony Dale Gribble as a ghostbuster? Yeah, I'll just go with that. -- Dat AJ lullaby! Holy shit, cutest thing in MLP to date! -- Love it when MLP messes with conventions, so having the old exterminator guy call Applebloom out on parrot exposition was great! -- Couldn't help but notice that all of their dreams contained hints as to their true marks. Sure it was blatantly obvious with Sweetie and Scoots, but I also noticed that 'Bloom fixed the clubhouse offscreen during the my-friends-are-gunna-leave-me part. -- The barn is never safe, even in the dream world! -- So, Big Mac gets a major speaking role here. Anypony think this means anything? Did AB dream it because it would be strange, or do we find it strange because AB is more used to hearing him talk than the audience? Is there a meta joke? Like, Big Mac only gets lines in our dreams? -- Good lord, flying Scootaloo hit me right in the feels... Well that's enough of that. I'mma give this episode an adorableApplejackmoment/10

Honestly, it was pretty good! Gotta admit, from the synopsis, I knew this one wasn't gunna be very gripping...or even interesting, plotwise, so I went into this one just looking for cute little character moments, and oh boy did I get plenty! From Fluttershy's "would you kindly GTFO" to AJ's "nah, they're just old", most of the jokes landed just right, and the few that didn't were still generally entertaining. I also liked the symbolism with the painting too. The one thing that was actually a good idea, as well as depicting all of them together, ends up being the first thing that gets tossed as they begin bickering. Can't really say much for the song though. It was a montage piece, and those usually aren't that good. It did its job though, so yay. So overall, I'd give this episode a veryspecialpancake/10

That was, by far, the most creepy episode of MLP they've made! Like srsly, they really laid the cultish, Harrison Bergeron-esque distopia on pretty thick! Also, recurring villain potential! YAY! IKNOWRIGHT!? And the way all the ponies were saying "weeeellcoooome~" with those fake smiles...*shivers*

I think its an intended story thing. Like, destiny saw fit to give 3 or more unicorns similar names and paths in life, discovering the nuances of friendship. One arrogantly Imposed her viewpoints and hid from criticism, another found refuge in oppressive bullying, and one got it right and ascended. For all we know, there may be more of them out there.

How about a deep, sad song about the original Nightmare Moon event? Sure it may not be official, but hey, it exists.

Well first, cry lots. Like srsly, I just got pulled from my friends and family, with not hope of seeing'em ever again! Dats cryin' material. Now I'm assuming that we enter Equestria as our favorite pony race, so I'd enter as a pegasus. I'm also assuming I appear in Ponyville. So, the first thing I do is seek government assistance. Considering I'd be both unemployed and homeless, I'd certainly need it! So I probably end up with an apartment and working at Pony-Mart for a while. During this time, I figure out how my wings and pegasi weather control works, then do everything I can to get myself of the weather team!
