  1. It would be incredibly interesting if she even had a different personality. Like if she were more like Fluttershy or, Celestia forbid, like Rarity. The hijinks!
  2. Oh, you're not the only one. I might not have gotten the reference at all if not for my frequenting of the wiki. I'm not much into the modern pop scene. Makes me feel alot like AJ in this episode. Word. This and the Lost Mark episode still get me. And yet I keep coming back for rewatches.
  3. Finally on for a moment. Long days are long. Ponies before bed. :D

  4. @@Swinton, Thanks! The hugs are pretty great. @@Dark Tempest, Thanks and I can't wait to start. Having to save up first is lame. :okiedokielokie: @@You Heard Nothing, Thank you. The work was hard but worth it. @@cuteycindyhoney, *salutes back in a silly Pinkie-like manner*
  5. Those episode pairings you mentioned. That's what I want right on! I really wanted more Twi-Shy episodes and I got one with the Hooffields. Want more though. Fluttershy and Spike, Shining Armor and Twilight, and the whole Sparkle family are tops on my list.
  6. So excited for S6! We get the premier and then Easter!! :D

I'm thinking one of the mane6 is in some goofy Easter bunny gettup. As Discord would say: hilarious! xD

You know, they might just do that, at least on a background pony. :)

  7. After lots of research and debate on what is "life-sized" I settled on a ballpark 36-42" hoof-to-top-of-head. After prototyping at that size, I was happy with the end 39". That's not to say other sizes are invalid, but that's my personal preference for "life-size." Anyways, here's my first plush: Twilight Sparkle. I'll be doing more in the future. Fluttershy is next on my list but, as you might imagine, it takes a while to save up enough for the materials. Doing a plush at this size with good minky is pricey. I'll update when I make the next one. For now, here's Twilight. Deviantart pages (with full-size photos): Twilight Sparkle (first one) Twilight Sparkle - Version 2 (Current)
  8. Got back later than expected last night. Guess I'll post that thing now. :)

    movies/tv Robot Wars

Right on. I remember watching this as a kid with my dad. I even had a little action figure of one of them. It was so long ago I can't remember much though.
  10. You're not the only one. I loved all the movies - RR and FG most. I go back and forth on which I like more. Those deleted FG scenes, though. I was so glad they were on the disc, but also so pained they were not the final movie. For this 4th one, I hope we get more Sunset development that was left out before. Twi-Twi interaction will be great. Hopefully they won't leave that out. As for anything else I'm looking for, they better include Rara at some point. I mean it's basically Friendship Camp, right?
  11. I'll be away for a birthday this evening but I've got something cool to post after I get back. :)

  12. I think I played through all of Shogo Mobile Armor Division in 8 hours straight. Same for the first Portal game, though I did that one in just 2 hours on second play. Some games are painfully easy after you've beat them once.
  13. Well, both enders had epic elements but this one was more about escaping and convincing rather than outright defeating. Quite a different flavor. I really enjoyed both but for different reasons. It's hard to compare them when it's like apples and oranges. Furious Twi battling Tirek was awesome, but I'm glad they took a different route for season 5. Some people were getting tired of the redemption theme but I say that without it the world would be a very depressing place where villains are always villains and can never hope to change. One thing I would like to see more of is Rainbow Power from the season 4 ender. It's awesome but completely underused.
  14. I know, right? View on Derpibooru (Original source unknown at time of posting) It is sad they didn't stay friends. That does tend to happen once people are no longer near each other - given Sunburst was shipped out of town. -_-
  15. Hyped? *brohoof* /) I love EqG and I really can't wait for the next one. Dazzlings would be nice but not so sure they'll do it. Decently sure they'll do multi-Twi interaction, though. And Sunset. Yes. Agreed. MORE! She needs more solo or lead vocal songs too. Given that this is camp...I wonder if they'll pull Rara in?
  16. I don't see how Rarity is or could be marginalized in any way. Besides, I would think that people who had a problem with Twilight becoming an alicorn would be supportive of getting another unicorn in the mix. After all, that would make the group more "equal." *nudges and grins* I'll shut up now. Destruction would have been an awful ending. I think I said it before but the idea of redemption has to keep getting hammered in again and again because too many people still seem to have trouble grasping it. I mean, the point is that no matter what happens, you keep reaching out to people - especially those who are hurt and isolated like Starlight wound up being. And I love Twily too. I must say though that she's had some spectacular alternate hairstyles. Punklight Sparkle! View on Derpibooru (Original source unknown at time of posting)
  17. Glad I'm not the only one thinking that. It's easy to underestimate what effect seemingly small events can have in the lives and minds of those younger than us. Especially if you're an adult and the other person is a child. I remember some of my own past as a kid. Looking back, I definitely can say there were some things that happened to me when I was six that formed how I thought of others and looked at life. I don't necessarily mean bad things either. Small things to an adult can be very big to a child. If there were problems with Starlight's family life or other relationships went badly then that only complicates the issue. I would say that it's actually this mentality of "oh that was petty" that makes otherwise insignificant issues into big ones. Conflict comes easy when people stop caring about each other.
  18. I getcha there. It's amazing how a two-parter still felt like it needed more room. But I guess that's just our job: to demand more episodes. On the other hoof, Starlight didn't go through much of what Twilight did in those other timelines. What she saw and experienced was less consequential and dramatic I think. Maybe it doesn't excuse a rushed reformation but it does factor in. I would have loved seeing this as a three or four-parter but there I go wanting more episodes. :grin2:
  19. I might have cried more this season than any other one prior. Lost Mark and Mane Attraction in particular but some others too. I really want her to have a bigger role, akin to Sunset in EqG. And the fandom take over? I'm writing fimfiction as fast as I can!
  20. To have a character that can match or even beat Twilight with magic is a big deal and I believe a welcome one. Like you said, it's nice to have a resolution that doesn't require violence or coercion. Starlight Glimmer is actually a very strong pony for deciding to stop on her own. And it's a great lesson that we can always choose to change ourselves without outside influence. She needs more hugs though. I was waiting for Twi to give her more horse huggles.
  21. The fanfics. Oh, the fanfics. These episodes have given us fimficers more fuel than we could burn in century. What can I say about the ender except that I loved it~! Epic end boss, reformation, war machine, changelings, Nightmare Moon, and the list goes on and on. A fitting end for an amazing season. I thought season 4 was the new golden season but now 5 takes the cake in my book.
  22. You aren't the only one wanting those remixes. It took me eight watches to finally realize it was Sweetie Belle who levitated the triangle up at the end. When I'm unobservant....geez, am I unobservant.
  23. I'm up for more songs from Rara and her Countess days. I did kind of feel like a traitor with how much I loved The Spectacle. It was like Rainbow Rocks, where I couldn't help liking the Dazzlings songs more. Not to say I didn't enjoy The Magic Inside. It's right up with the Lost Mark songs for me (top spot). Hasbro really needs to realize that it can make millions if it deployed the Great and Powerful Ingram through full commercial albums. I've bought all the albums they've put out so far. Even the limited physical copy remix album.
  24. The music has been rooftastic! I keep going back to my two favorite episodes this season, Crusaders of the Lost Mark and The Mane Attraction. Both are incredible episodes and have spectacular music within. I get teary listening. I do agree with you on some of the other episodes though. I don't think I really disliked any episode this season, but there were a few I was bleh about. I hadn't been a fan of the CMC before so Appleoosas Most Wanted was just more of the same for me...until the Lost Mark came around. What About Discord was a let down for me because I expected a Discord episode to be more...I don't know. Something. And I'll brohoof you for wanting a more substantial Spike episode. There's a lot of potential for his character. I have a dream!
  25. To be fair to him, he did have a hard time growing up. It wasn't easy getting to where he is now. I mean, selling antique chicken statues is a hard life.
