    I watched it again for like the sixth time and I cried yet again. It's not like I want to cry....but gosh! Tears of sadness then joy. It's such a ride every time. I'd defintely say it challenges my favorite episodes of all time.

    The votes for this episode agree with you. You mentioned in your blog post that DT's turn around didn't seem too rushed. Part of that is likely the inner story we got on her. Losing Silver Spoon's support could also be an important thing that tipped her over. Sometimes it's easiest to change when you've got nothing left. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. Also, I made the mistake of rewatching the end scene with the CMC and their sisters singing. Cried again. Oh dear Celestia, it's been hours now and I'm still running a river.

    A fair point. But it's not like they haven't just thrown suddenly-made-up family at us before. Maud wasn't even in the old photos and flashbacks for Pinkie (until episodes after her reveal). I'm sure Scoots has a family and we'll see at least one of them someday. Having said that, I am one of the people who got on the orphan Scoots train way back when. Mama Rainbow ftw!

    With what happened in this episode, I can't believe it wasn't the last episode. It could totally fit for a finale. But the good news is we've got a ton of episodes left to come and enjoy! Also, DT has a spine. And it's a good one.

    I'm still kind of speechless. Totally agree, though. I've never been too big on the CMC episodes....but this one! Dang! Definitely one of the best episodes of the entire series. I cried so much! The feels at the end of the Brotherhooves Social? Not even worth mentioning in comparison! This episode truly released the rivers! When they got their marks, the live chat exploded like never before. We're going to be riding this wave for a while.

    We're getting into some serious character development and turning points there. I think that idea is enough to at least start a series with. Oh, please, give us an EqG series. Or, hey, I'm good with having Sunny in the mane show as well! Oh, you have no idea how much I agree with you. Sunset would make for indescribably awesome anything in pony form! It'd be sad for her to leave the others in the human world though. We got a hint of that in one of the deleted scenes.

    I was amazed they had gone this far in the deleted scenes. It certainly would have given a different spin to the whole movie and Sunset's character in particular. Since going back to Equestria is a major consideration that has been hovering beneath the surface, I agree it would have been better to have this in. Who knows what EqG4 will be like...

    If they are then that's an odd match. I can't imagine how that might have happened. And that's just as friends. As for ships.... It's impossible not to. That tranformation of hers was magnifique. I getcha. But with such a large cast and limited time it was inevitable. I love what we got because I'm a big Twi and Sunny fan, but I could use some more of the other characters too. Perhaps an EqG series could address that.

    Those last two you mentioned are high on my list. I grew into liking them more the more I listened to them. And I can't believe the baton girl with RD for the CHS rally gets so little love.

    Indeed she does have a pretty epic design. I love it! I might say she's my fav villain of all EqG. The show is another thing. Story-wise I think I like the Dazzlings more though. It's not easy for me to make choices when I love them all.

    I'll third that. It's much harder to pick a favorite when all three movies are included. Lemon Zest is my new favorite but I don't know if she beats Sonata from RR or Sunset from all three movies.

    Pretty much how I feel. View on Derpibooru (Original source unknown at time of posting) I use to always ship her with Equestria Twi but then it seems more convenient story-wise to ship her with SciTwi. They're both so lovable....

    I've been listening to the soundtrack a ton since buying it and...goodness, it really IS hard to choose a favorite. The more I listen to these songs, the more I love them all. It's now on par with RR for me and that's a big deal. The two you mentioned battle for tops with Right There in Front of Me. And then I get around to Dance Magic and all bets are off. I know, right? I nearly cry when Spike calls out.

      There's a public editing option, so I fixed it myself. And that was like years ago. I don't put out as much art as I used to because I spend more time writing than drawing. But I had a blast with it today. :D

    The hype train never ended. We just made a short stop at EqG3 Station and found temporary satisfaction before heading off to the next stop. And I'm LOVING it.

    After a week of deliberation on the matter, I've finally decided that yes Lemon Zest is best Shadowbolt. I just love her design, personality, and music. She may not have much screen time and lines, but I love her anyways! Just finished drawing some art of her today: Maybe I like her so much because I've always been into hard rock.

    I get what you're saying. SciTwi can't be beat if it's story or really character either. Since she was one of the main characters we get a lot of focus on her. So I would say I'd go with her but then I'd feel like it's kind of unfair. Some of the others hardly even got lines after all. So putting Twi aside, Lemon Zest is tops. I love her design, personality, and music. Had to put on some hard rock after the movie.
