  1. Sure you are expressing your opinion and are free to do so on the internet but you don't need to go into such elaborate detail of why something pisses you off.

    Why not?

See, the thing about the internet is that you aren't shouting it out in a public forum where everyone is forced you hear your mindless, inane chatter. Readers have a choice as to what to read.

It won't get anybody anywhere and do more harm than good in a social enviroment like this one.

Also, rants aren't inherently negative. They can bring up some decent arguments up and they could start a whole new debate, which might be beneficial to both the ranter and the replier.

Sure, sometimes the thread can boil down to insults, but that can happen on any thread.

Also, your use of inclusive language is nigh on infuriating. That's personal preference though.

Also, your ranting...so hypocritical much? I get that you referenced your hypocritical  but it's still hypocritical.

  2. This is...a problem? I mean, like people going around and saying their fetishes? People do that? I haven't really noticed it. And even if they do, is it so bad? I mean, just move on. I mean, isn't that what you kind of do for everything that slightly annoys you? I mean, I'd understand if you couldn't get away from it for even five minutes, but I'm fairly sure you can get away from it.

You being in the plural here. It's directed to everyone.

  3. UPlay is need for the PC Version, so there's that. It's not too much of a Hassle, but I'm pretty sure you can't play offline (don't quote me on that). So pretty much constant internet access is required.

Makes sense if that puts you off the PC version.

I think on the console version you need to activate it once, and you'll be fine (for multiplayer at least). It's a lot of BS to play the actual game.

If you want nothing, you can always pirate the game. No advocating it, but surprisingly, it's the most convenient of all the options, in my opinion.

  4. I'm on the fence about this rule. I'm okay with no topics/posts about this, but I'm a bit miffed about the whole status and blog posts bit.

I'm fairly sure they want all criticism and complaining to go directly to the staff through the support forum. Generally speaking, complaining over the forums will most likely get you a referral, so nothing actually gets accomplished. I get that bit.

But I'm a tad annoyed at the whole status bit. I mean, can't I say "I'm a pissed off at the warning points I'm being given."

That's probably more of a status update than most updates.

And why not speak of it in the blog? I mean, blogs are generally used to talk about one's life (at least, the purpose is for an extended status update) and if you're invested in the forums enough to care, wouldn't you want to write about your warning points, in a similar fashion as you would if you got detention at school.

  5. I quite agree with this. I mean, at this very moment, I have no need for relationships. I never liked relationships. I mean, why bother with the whole thing? I've no real sexual appetite, and to be quite honest, I can get the same emotional comfort from my friends.

Which is extremely beneficial, as I have an advantage over my peers! Haha! I shall be victorious!

  6. A good strategy is the one I use on most boring people. Zoning out and nodding at key moments. It's pretty easy and it saves you a lot of hate. Though you might agree to things you wouldn't want to agree to.

I tend not to associate with folks like your friend. Normally, we don't have anything common. Yes, it's a bias but it's done me good so far. c:

  7. But if you correctly disbelieve in God, you gain nothing (death ends all), whereas if you erroneously disbelieve in God, you lose everything (eternal damnation).

This rubs me the wrong way. When you go into a religion not because of moral guidance, nor because of you seek truth but because you don't want to go to hell or another religion's version of said hell. I mean, if you go to a religion for the purpose of simple gain, it goes against the whole point of religion, does it not?

I mean, that argument is simply to draw one into religion, without exactly quoting the benefits of said religion.

Oh and I'm not saying that religion (yours being Christianity) doesn't give moral guidance. It's just that particular brand of reasoning isn't putting moral guidance forward as a benefit.

And while I have personal qualms about the validity of your statement, I feel that is just trying to knock you down and having a debate, rather than trying to help someone.

And one more thing, I'm not saying that's your sole argument. You give valid advice. I just wanted to contribute my opinion as to why Hylian shouldn't make his choice based on that argument (which I'm sure he didn't).
  8. I'd go on your parents. It's probably just a phase. There's a chance that it's not, but from what I've seen, most teenagers (myself included) go what you go through and we end up fine. So I'd just wait it out and not do anything stupid.

But what I said probably doesn't matter because you will disagree. Oh well, I think it was my friends (particularly one. I think she knows who she is) who got me out of my downward spiral and me finding something to love and care for, that being science. So if you can find one of the two, I think you'd be good.
