In this game, you must make a sentence with a minimum of 6 words, select a letter used within your sentence.. The chosen letter is "banned" and cannot be used in the next user's sentence Rules: - Minimum of 6 words in your sentence (emoticons don't count as words ) - Choose 1 letter used within at least 1 word of your sentence, the next user cannot have the chosen letter in their sentence.. Exception: Emoticons do not count, therefor if the previous user banned "P" can still use it to make this emote: in addition to your 6+ words.. - Vowels (A, E, I, O or U) cannot be picked twice on a row.. But consonants (Non-vowel letters) can be used multiple times.. Example: If the previous user banned "A", you cannot choose any vowel for your chosen banned letter) - The same banned letter (regardless of vowel or consonant) cannot be chosen twice in a row.. Awesome work That just makes it so much better Though if it were me drawing I'd probably have it so Pinkie is saying the answer in a speech bubble or something Or perhaps with a confused look looking at a question i have trouble figuring out.. Hmm.. one that has to do with research is quite tricky to think of a good one.. Umm.. "Cyclo pedia"? (Neh.. sounds a little wierd.. What kind of name is Cyclo? ) Wait.. what about "Page Delve"? "Page" being about the book, and is also an ordinary name and "Delve" (verb) 1. To carry on intensive and thorough research for data, information, or the like; investigate But yeah, hope this gave some idea :grin2: EDIT: I do like the name "Tome" though sounds cool Soo.. "Tome delve"? "Tome page"? idk.. but more suggestions equals more ideas to help you find the right one ⁿ-ⁿ

Hehe, had the exact same issue with using Blender, until recently when i found out how to change the max undo steps xD Most graphics programs have this setting and photoshop/GIMP are very useful editors so it's good to maximize their potential by editting the settings so they work best, so long as you have the PC to handle it..

Well Inkscape as far as i know has an unlimited undo count for as long as the file is open.. so any mistakes, even far far back can be easily undone Plus if a shape isn't how you want it, it's not set in stone.. or.. pixel You can just edit the handles

That's why i stopped using GIMP to make ponies it was way to tedious and stuff to actually make good curves manually by stroking this path and stroking that path.. And yes, it does constantly update it as you edit it.. Also, another advantage of Vectors is you can zoom in all the way to max and get no pixelation The only way it does become pixelized is when you export it.. but you can save it at really high resolution to get really crisp curves If you wanted to that is EDIT: Like this super HD version of the vector version.. I used Inkscape to make it into vector art (which is the draw style the show uses), It involves creating nodes and anchors to create curves.. these can be manipulated and positioned to form a shape in which the program mathematically calculates the curve's dimensions and stuff, which allows it to be rendered at really high sizes without pixelization and keeping file sizes minimal (the project file for this one is only 4MBs..) Here's a screenshot zoomed in to show the nodes (with their handles and anchors) for twilight's mouth :grin2: I've only been using it for about a month now and I've gotten pretty good at at.. it is just very time consuming and tedious, especially if you manually taper some points to reflect the tapered curves the show's character design has.. But yeah.. hope this helped explain a little EDIT: But anyways, it's really fun to vectorize and render good hand drawn art like this It also allows to find and repair small mistakes in the original, but not if it draws away from the original art style..

Hmm.. well this thread seems like the kind for advice on how to decide which to choose, rather than asking which one is best, that's a good thing, because it's ultimately you who decides what your OC will be OC characters are best built from the personality upwards.. any powers or abilities you may have don't necessarily need to refect that.. My OC is a unicorn based off of me (as it IS me in the lore I'm still thinking about or writing..) and my personality.. I originally wanted to be a pegasus as flight would be awesome.. but it really doesn't suit me well.. My power however, is unique (as far as i'm aware), it's called "burst magic" my character learned this by mistake when trying to learn telekinesis.. it's not too useful by itself, but with in-depth thought (with my analytical personality) and focus, AURA has been able to use it for many purposes, even short-duration flight (with good timing and serious concentration) though he rarely does this tires him out very rapidly.. as well can be very difficult and is fairly risky.. Though it may seem "cool" to have powers you must always balance your OCs.. all characters, regardless of origin, race or destiny have their limits.. every power, ability or traits also have their own limitations as well as possible disadvantages.. No pegagus can fly all the time.. No unicorn can use magic all the time.. And No earth pony can be strong all the time.. But yeah.. my rambling aside, start with your OCs personality, then think carefully about what he/she can do.. all the while considering the balancing factors and limitations of your character and each part of it in depth :grin2:
