    am i the only one who actually liked most of the spike episodes, including princess spike? (only one i didnt really like was spike at your service and maybe dragon quest, tho ill have to rewatch the latter)

      I never really 'disliked' any of the other Spikesodes, I just did not entirely like how Spike was portrayed in them, they didn't portray many positive aspects of him, mostly just negatives, that was my main issue with them.

      i personally enjoy that, as his negative aspects make for entertaining plots. plus, we have episodes like power ponies or dragon quest that portrayed some positive aspects, so imo it sort of balances out.

    Imo, I'd imagine that her and Twist sort of went their own ways after they got their own friend groups (I'd imagine Twist has some more friends now, too) As for DT and SS, well she probably is friends with them nonetheless, but I imagine that since she was so distraught over 'losing' the CMC, she just didn't think of heading to her other friends. After all, she completely misinterpreted their message, so we saw how she was incredibly sad and was just wandering around Ponyville, trying out any new things she saw without really thinking.

    I feel like this is going to happen. Now don't get me wrong, I'm an utter fanboy for FiM, and I'll defend it from various criticisms others have until the end, but I'm honestly kind of hoping we'll get a few hiatuses, and here's why. They're still working on the final episodes of S6. I doubt they're rushing it, since if they run out of time while S6 is still airing, it'll just go on a short hiatus. But if we have a few smaller breaks in between, it'll give DHX more time to complete S6 and then put the rest of their focus on EQG 4 (assuming that hasn't been in the works since before EQG 3) and the 2017 film. And also for my own personal reason, I'm still about 3,100 pages away from getting caught up with Homestuck, Lol.

    First and foremost, I should say that I apologize if this is in the wrong section; I don't really use the forums much. Anyway, a couple of days ago a friend asked me to draw him a picture involving his OC and someone else's. I managed to get half of it down, however for the other half I need a reference picture for. I remember seeing one that was just what I was looking for a day prior to that, however I can't seem to find it anywhere, and I've been searching for a while. The picture is one of those base pictures. There were two ponies in it; one was sleeping on the ground on their back, and the other was laying over their back, sleeping as well. If you know of a picture like this, let me know please, I'd really appreciate it! Again, I do apologize if this in the wrong section, I'm not very keen on this side of the forums.

    It's because now the characters have flaws - it's what makes them more enjoyable and relatable. As Kyoshi said, they were abnormally sweet, kind, and just 'perfect' in the past gens, while here they'd fit more in with humanity since they each are more dynamic with positive traits and negative traits. Even less likable characters aren't necessarily bad ones, as if the show WANTS you to dislike them (i.e teenage dragons from Dragon Quest), then when you see the characters you like succeed against them you'll feel more satisfaction. So basically it's because they're more relatable and more interesting than characters who have no flaws at all.

    Haha yeah, it is Greg. Honestly, the main characters kind of do look like Villager now that I think about it xD But if you haven't seen it, I would recommend the show. It's a pretty good miniseries that's kind of like Gravity Falls in the writing. Plus it's only 10 episodes long, Lol.

    Thank you! ^^ Thank you! Yeah, I did it intentionally so that way she'd be up to Mabel's face. I figured it looked a bit odd, but then again, Pinkie has been known to break the show's proportions, so I suppose it isn't too against the canon But thanks again!

It took a while due to me procrastinating, but I'm happy with how it came out. If you have any criticisms for it, please let me know, as I'm always happy to hear them!

    I am an incredibly strong believer in this theory. So much so that, at one point or another in my life, I want to research it. It saddens me to see that a lot of people do not care to look into it for reasons such as a lack of evidence or, we have enough in our own universe. I mean there is a chance there is some sort of evidence for it, in one form or another. As for the other point I see brought up a lot, wouldn't it help us discover more of our own universe? After all, if there's an infinite number of universes, and we gain the ability to access them, wouldn't we be able to find other humans or species that speak the same languages we do, and thus be able to gain more technology and information? It may all only be theoretical, but that doesn't make it impossible. Besides, if it is true, then we would be able to live in our favorite fictional worlds, even Equestria. Wouldn't that be fun?

    It's because she was heading into uncharted territory and didn't know what to expect - after all, they were dealing with parallel universes. And with Rainbow Rocks revealing Twilight does know a thing or two about that, it's fair to assume that she thought it could be possible that bringing her friends could cause rifts in space/time (which the two worlds's relations did cause that in Friendship Games). But even besides that, Equestria needed some form of defense while Twilight was gone, even if it's the incomplete Elements of Harmony. With those cases of Sombra and Tirek, those were threatening Equestria, and while Twilight did bring her friends to parts of those, she never brought them to the mane (ba dum tss) mission at hand, which was retrieving the crystal heart and battling Tirek, respectively. As for the first time in the first episode, well she was younger and more naive. Plus, she managed to find the loophole that Celestia never quite asked her to go there specifically to make friends, but rather to check up on the celebrations. Of course, Celestia probably knew of Twilight and the Elements of Harmony, so that may be why she instructed her to do that - sort of like how the prophet gave Neo false information in The Matrix. tl;dr: It's an unknown world, and there could be space/time rifts if they all go. Equestria also needed some form of defense. As for the previous cases, Twilight never took her friends to the primary task that she was assigned to, she only took them for a part of the journey. And as for the first time, she just was young and naive.

    I don't care to argue with you all day, since to be quite honest it seems you hold your viewpoints fairly strongly, but I'll say this: Flaws with a show are more subjective than you think. Just because a large group of people feel something has errors doesn't mean others have to agree with it, and it doesn't make them objectively true. In my eyes, there isn't too much that's objectively good, bad, whatever, with a few exceptions. Not to mention how others could interpret something in a different way and thus affect how they see something. Just because people can support their opinions with things from the show does not make their opinions fact, contrary to what way too many seem to believe. As for people judging other shows, it isn't fair to do that since other shows typically have entirely different writers with ranging talents, and most other shows tend to do plot lines that MLP does, however they typically do them way later than when MLP would, around the time that they noticeably beging to run out of ideas. Also, as for the season to season continuity, I do know about season 3's original plans, but honestly who is to say that beyond that, the writers didn't plan ahead of time? I mean, based on what I know, I haven't seen any of them post anything that could even vaguely give off the hint that, from beyond season 3, they didn't plan ahead. But, you have your viewpoints, and I have mine. It's clear to me that as much as I defend my side, you most likely won't agree with me, and vice versa. So I'm going to end it here before this thread becomes an off-topic debate.

    I can agree with this statement. Just about every change the fandom seems to randomly dislike (Starlight, Twilicorn, Rainbow Power, Flurry Hearts, etc) I seem to like, and I just can not understand why people dislike them. I mean if you have your own opinion, that's fine, but so many seem keen on shoving it down other's throats as if what they thought of the episodes/trailers was complete and utter fact. It just gets annoying to log on to an MLP site to not talk about the positives of the show, but to see a LARGE number of people focusing on all the problems they see with it. If you're like me and can't agree with about 99.9% of these problems, it gets ridiculous. But I digress. I can wholeheartedly say that a lot of bronies can't grasp the concept that the show may actually have plans in the future. I mean for instance, the whole Applelosa's Most Wanted thing. A lot disliked that episode for 'continuity errors' or whatever, when it was just taking the whole idea of cutie marks in a new direction, beginning to reveal what they actually meant, foreshadowing what would later be shown in Crusaders of the Lost Mark and Cutie Remark. And I hear that a lot didn't seem to grasp the concept that Twilicorn had plans as well, but instantaneously thought the show would go downhill. So I guess history just repeats itself.

    As much as I like this fandom, it seems like a bit too many people want to complain about everything or are keen on analyzing every little thing in hopes of finding something to nitpick, when in reality there really isn't anything wrong, at least in my opinion.

      Oh my, I can go on and on with praises for the show, haha. I love basically everything about it, writing, animation, characters, music, plots, etc. I mean my biggest gripe is how I personally saw a few minor flaws with like four episodes, so with a show like this, that's pretty impressive. or perhaps I'm praising it so much because I'm a fanboy. one of the two x3

      yeah there are some episodes that I just cant enjoy, I am happy that you can. My biggest gripe is with present discord episodes and well they kinda bored me.

    I personally love the theory that all the villains fought each other. I just realized, a show rated TV Y implied that every character died in one of the timelines where the Mane 6 didn't meet. Isn't that CHARMING!

    It's actually not a vector image, but rather one in Painttool SAI. I have a bad tendency to spend hours trying to perfect each individual line, haha Thank you for the kind words! Thank you! And who knows, Temmie could've bought a bunch of sunblock after she graduated from college (or col leg)! I mean she does seem like the type to buy really weird stuff, lol.
