I have waited for years to see a Justice League movie on the big screen. Tonight, I finally got what I've been waiting for for so long. It's not the best comic book movie I've ever seen, nor even the best Justice League movie we could ever get. But what it is is a wonderful beginning for the Justice League and a firm foundation for the rest of the DCEU going forward, and I can't wait to see what they do next with the wonderful pieces they have gathered together for their universe. Right now, I just couldn't be happier that my favorite superhero team of all time is gathered together (mostly... COME ON HAL, YOU'RE LATE TO THE PARTY!!! 😂) on the big screen for the first time ever, and I intend to enjoy that to the fullest with hopefully at least a couple of more trips to the theater. Critics definitely threw an unnecessary collective hissy fit over this one; go to this one for a fun time and enjoy watching some of your favorite heroes ever uniting, taking down the bad guys, and saving the day. #JusticeLeague #Unite

Hour 1 of the first day of my new job is done! Ok, it’s only been training so far, but still, I now have a cubicle and everything, my own office computer, and I’m even right next to the coffee room, SCORE!!!

*sigh of relief* I have been unpacking pretty much since yesterday (with a little sleep in between) at my new place, but thankfully, I get to watch the Season 7 finale with my favorite bunch'a bronies! Got to see "My Little Pony: The Movie" last night with the absolute best girlfriend a guy could ever ask for, and it was a complete, utter delight of a movie! Not perfect by any means, but for fans of the show it is no doubt about as good of a film adaptation of this show as we could, realistically, expect to get, and I absolutely do plan on getting it on Blu-Ray once it's released! The animation didn't take long to get used to, the story and characters (new and old) were very true to the spirit of the show, none of the celeb voices sounded like they didn't want to be there and all sounded very invested in their roles, and the music (aside from one mercifully short cover of a song that really sounded out of place and was a bit hard to sit through at the very beginning) was outstanding!!! I will have a full review up at some point, but for now, this movie has my complete, total approval and was pretty much everything I could have hoped for! Really hope we might get to see some of the new characters from the movie in the show again at some point, even if they have new VAs, that would be quite lovely indeed!

Get to a sturdy shelter if you're in Hurricane Harvey's path, have plenty of emergency supplies and basic necessities, and just STAY SAFE!!! Of course, and awesome, glad to hear it! Yeah, weird thing about the brony community, our fan sites tend to be through the roof in terms of quality of their design. I have a theory it has to do with our age and that we just happened to have a lot of folks really great at programming and coding and web design join the fandom early on.
You should check out Fimfiction as well, even if you're not into fanfiction; I've never seen a fanfiction site better designed than that, it's amazing! Most of them are incredibly basic (including what is supposed to be THE base fanfiction site, fanfiction.net) and are strictly for uploading stories only, but Fimfiction has very customizable profiles, hundreds of different groups within it with their own thread systems (which are often dedicated to specific types of fics or characters in them), and a great fic-feature system and other cool ways you can try to sell your fic, like by including cover art for them and such.

Hey Sugar Cube, I know it's been some time since we last chatted and that you're not super active on the forum these days, but here, thought you might like this review I wrote of "The Perfect Pear" seeing as you love Applejack so much and seemed to love the episode. I'm extremely proud of this review and don't believe I'll ever be able to write a better one, not for this show at least.

Buck, I may have fallen in love with Bright Mac and Buttercup and be terribly sad we'll never get to see them in the present day in that show, but that's both cliche and taking it way too far. I am a reviewer with standards and principles, after all.

@Woohoo ABSOLUTELY! I need to be completely caught up for when Season 3 comes to that new DC streaming service WB is launching... plus I just gotta finish Season 2 for Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle alone (don't get me wrong, he's hardly my favorite character and I adore how well the show juggles team dynamics no matter what characters it's using, BUT I can easily see why his iteration of Blue Beetle became so popular with people when he was first introduced in the comics... plus it never ceases to amuse me seeing people look at him like he's crazy when he talks with his suit
).

@cmarston1 If nothing else, watch the first three episodes of Season 2 before it leaves. It'll give you a taste for how the show somehow gets even more amazing than the first season.

Guys... I seriously underestimated my girlfriend's level of AMAZING!!! So get this... she shows up unannounced yesterday, TOTALLY taking me by surprise (she's supposed to still be up at the camp she's working at right now), and tells me she planned weeks in advance with my sister and mom to surprise me for my birthday weekend and I am still getting over the shock! We got to double date with my sister and her fiance to see Spider-Man: Homecoming and this is already one of the best birthday surprises of my life and... dear Lord I just can't say enough wonderful things about my wonderful girlfriend!!!
