Fluttershy, hands down. Rainbow Dash annoys me sometimes.

*Raises pitchfork and touch* Yes, you are the only one who thinks that. You should consider getting your brain examined... No, seriously, I think it just all depends. You know what they say "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." What one person may find cute may not be cute to another. I also think being a fan of Fluttershy might have something to do with it. If you're not a fan of Fluttershy (which clearly you aren't) them of course Fluttershy's cuteness is not going to appeal to you, but if Fluttershy is your favorite then of course you're not going to mind it much and your opinion of her appearance might be a bit bias. I think everyone is like that wit their favorite pony. Fluttershy is my favorite pony, but I don't think she's cute. I think she is downright gorgeous. Whoever though of the design of Fluttershy did an excellent job. The kind of yellow and pink they chose for Fluttershy's coat and mane really compliment each other. I love that they made Fluttershy's eyes teal. Plus, the fact that she shows the most kindness and empathy out of any of the character makes her beautiful in my books. Does Fluttershy deserve the praise she gets? Why the hell not? Just because she's timid and not as confident as the others? So we should hate her and resent her for that? You could ask the same thing about Rainbow Dash. Does she deserve the praise that she gets. In my personal opinion...no. I can think and list a lot of reasons why Rainbow Dash doesn't deserve the praise and admiration that she gets constantly but I'm not. That's another character for another thread as this is about Fluttershy. It's not really anyone's place to say which pony deserves what. You say Fluttershy gets a lot of undue praise, but I feel that's far from the truth. Recently, it seems people are quick to condemn her character (like some of you all are doing on this thread) especially here and the comment section on Equestria Daily. Who cares if some brony thinks Fluttershy is best pony because he think she's cute. I'm sure you and some other have superficial reasons as to why certain ponies are their favorites. I don't understand why so many of you all have some type of grudge against the introverted. It's like it's a sin to be shy and have social anxiety. I apologize for the rambling and to anybody who actually read the whole thing.

Thank you KirbyFluttershy and FlutterGuy999 for responding. @FlutterGuy999 That was a very awesome thing you did about that Fluttershy hate group situation. I really hope you chewed out theses dumbasses who would make or contribute to something as stupid and pointless as starting a hate group for a fictional character (a great one at that). What sense does that make? To feel justified and not alone for their irrational hatred for something and try to get others to join them on their bullshit? Not only that, I've seen some members here make threads like "Am I the only one who dislikes Fluttershy?" or "Why is Fluttershy so popular?" Some people would go as far as to demand why I picked a character like Fluttershy as my favorite and not "better" characters such as Rarity or Rainbow Dash. Why can't Fluttershy have fans? Fluttershy deserves as much love as Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Twilight, Pinkie Pie and Applejack.

Hey guys, there's been something I've been wanting to ask you all for awhile, but I didn't know how I wanted to express it or to type it out, but here it goes. Is it just me, or has Fluttershy has been getting a lot of unnecessary flak and hate from bronies (and pegasisters). It's not just on this site but other sites as well especially such as Equestria Daily. It seems like every time I go there, there's comments on several users expressing their disdain for her. Now don't get me wrong, I know that there's always going to be people that dislike Fluttershy or have her as their least favorite. We all have our preferences, but what pisses me off is when they go out of their way to be an asshole about it and bash her. They say things like she's a flat, terrible character with no personality or depth or that she's "worst pony". One of the writers for Equestria Daily wrote an episode followup to "Scare Master." Now while I don't think that "Scare Master " was Flutters' best episode (for different reasons, not Fluttershy's characterization) but the way he kept tearing into Fluttershy was totally uncalled for. Unfortunately, he isn't the only one. For some reason a lot of reviewers, commentators, and viewers in general were more irritated with Fluttershy in this episode than Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. After watching this episode for the first time, I was expecting a shitstorm in the forums and discussions like two years ago when "Filli Vanilli" first aired. I was expecting Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie to get the ire of the fandom. The former for her rudeness though out the whole episode, and the latter, for off handed comment after Fluttershy's scary tea party. But no. I did not see that. Instead, I saw and read that people were being disgusted with poor Fluttershy instead. Why was nearly everybody ticked off at Pinkie in "Filli Vanilli" and not in "Scare Master"? Why does the fandom find Fluttershy's fears and anxiety annoying and Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash's insensitivity funny? Seriously!!?? How the fuck is being a complete jerk to your best friend endearing?? :=: I'm not saying Rainbow or Pinkie deserve any hate. None of the mane six do. I just feel that many people in this are being really unfair and harsh to my favorite character when there are other five main characters who have more or less flaws than her. I'm starting to believe that the whole fandom hates Fluttershy now. What are your thoughts? How do you feel as a Fluttershy fan when people say or post that Fluttershy is the worst character ever or "worst pony" in the show? Or that she should be written out of the show? Do you retaliate and insult them? Or do you just ignore them? I am sorry for the long rambling and rant. Like I said. I've angry and depressed about this for a long time and I had to get it out. I thought the Fluttershy Fan Club might be a good place to post this and I wanted to know if any other Fluttershy fans felt like this.

Yes that's true. I do love her other than her beauty. I also love her wonderful personality, inner strength and courageous spirit. :grin2: Yep, there was a poll in the show discussion section. She was in the running to be a EFC'S Wild Card but Coco Pommel beat her by one point. Oh well, there's next year I guess... :okiedokielokie:

Anyone else a bit disappointed that Fluttershy lost a spot to run for the Most Attractive Pony Tournament this year?

Have to go with Rainbow Rocks. This is the one that introduced us to the three sirens, Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, and Sonata Dusk. I love them. They were great and interesting villains. This one also made feel sorry and like Sunset Shimmer a little more because she felt really remorseful about her horrible actions and everyone in Canterlot high was so resentful towards her.

Fluttershy. Every time she smiles, laughs, giggles, etc., it's cute.

I don't think she should. Pony or human. I've always thought of Rainbow Dash as being kind of skinny and lithe than the other five. Also, aren't pegasi supposed to have hollow bones? She might break something and be out for the rest of the season.

Yes, I was wondering about this too. I thought Fluttershy was one of the main characters that has a massive fan base. Almost everybody when describing Fluttershy says she's cute, adorable, beautiful, etc. Unfortunately, I cannot vote for her yet. I'm new here and haven't been promoted to a muffin yet. Speaking of which, hello fellow Fluttershy lovers! I am Autumn Mist! If you haven't figured it out yet, my favorite pony is Fluttershy. It'so heartwarming to know and see people appreciate and embrace a character like her.
