Yeah, I don't approve any of the LGBT ships* in the MLP community, but I try my best to just keep that to myself and ignore the pictures. As Christians, we should defend our beliefs, but that doesn't mean we are to go out and start unnecessary controversy. *I don't approve of Fluttercord, in case anyone was wondering. I have this sig, because Fluttershy is my favorite pony, Discord is my favorite (Ex-)Villain, and one of my favorite episodes is "Keep Calm and Flutter On."- 3,311 replies

The sad thing is that not all series have "official" holidays (one example being Star Trek). I imagine it would be even less so for specific characters. Doesn't stop me from celebrating on whatever day the fans choose. As for September 24th, it does make sense, as it was the day "Return of Harmony: Part 2" came out.

Well, I'm glad we're not alone. I loved The Powerpuff Girls! It was the show I most looked forward to watching every week, back when Cartoon Cartoon Fridays was on the air. This is back when I was a little boy, and was too afraid to admit that I like it, even to my best friends. And now, I'm not afraid to tell everyone I like MLP. I wonder if Powerpuff Girls was one of the reasons I became a Brony. Lauren Faust was an animation director of the Powerpuff Girls, after all, so she might have influenced my taste in cartoons. -
