  1. The lame thing about making stuff is how hard it is finding people who care enough to a) Look at it and B) give feedback besides "This sucks."

Maybe try finding some new sites to post on for feedback. Also, ignore down votes that are obviously just out to troll you. You can usually tell the difference between someone offering an legitimate critique vs. a troll.

That is true, but the difficulty is when you get only trolls at best. But then I've heard (and seen) Derpibooru is not a good site in general. But then, this sight probably wouldn't much good for art feedback either.

      Never know unless you try.

  2. The fandom has settled into the "cynical" phase all fandoms go through. From my observations, it's very common... and the next phase is "elitism", which has in fact already started. There's already a bit of nasty divide between Starlight Glimmer fans/haters and those who like the older seasons vs those who like the new seasons. I think the divides are only going to get worse and more numerous as the show continues and they make more controversial decisions. The cynicism won't go away either.
  3. What's y'alls opinion on people who used to think they were homosexual, but then changed to heterosexual? I'm curious since the Bible says in Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (King James Version) Even if no sexual act was committed, are you of the opinion said person could be forgiven in time? Or are they still condemned?
  4. "They say the ability to keep smiling no matter what is a virtue."

  5. Pretty bad. Which is funny because I was in a good mood right until I logged into this forum. Some things just really are not worth it, are they?
  6. The Best Night Ever... if any episode of this show triggers me, that one is it.

  7. Glad to see this guy get the credit he deserves. He's absolutely amazing and his music is easy to picture in an RPG. Check out his songs Octavia, Aloe and Lotus, and City in the Sky. Those are amazing too.
  8. So many people already using Christmas avatars..

  9. I'm uh, not really in that good of a mood. Probably won't be on for very long... or very talkative.

I appreciate the concern, guys, though I don't want to go into it.

Let's just say I had a bit of a bad gaming session and it led to me thinking about things I don't wish to think about. lol

Well, that's fine. Just take a break, we all need one sometimes. ;)

Oh, I don't plan to leave this forum! My mood is just a little negative right now. Thanks, though. I appreciate the support from y'all. :)

  10. I wouldn't say ear nomming fanart is usually meant as sexual because I think that's something real horses do just to mess around and play with one another, kinda like how puppies play fight all the time. Belly rubs, well... yeah, that sounds more sexual to me.
  11. Dinnertime guys.

  12. When you come up with an awesome OC name and find out a background character on the show already has it: http://stream1.gifsoup.com/view1/2223666/face-slam-o.gif

  13. I doubt it would happen, but it is always sweet and funny when she does that. Poor old Flash has got have somebody stick up for him, both in and outside the EG universe. He seems to kinda want to get back with Sunset as well, so there's that. Plus Derpy is still background, and I doubt they'd elevate her to love interest of a side character (even if thats a very small role with how little Flash is used these days).
  14. I often imagine people shaking their heads as they walk away from an encounter with me xD

  15. Welcome. As for your question, the current director of the show himself said why he thinks males have been attracted to this show. He thinks it's the positive messages, kind characters who support and care for each other, the adult references and jokes, and how they handle serious moments with gravity.
  16. First 2016 comment, yay ...Um, anyway, yeah, that ep was a classic with a great moment.
  17. Sir, I am pretty sure your IQ is several multiples of 10 above mine. It's too complicated for me to understand, but so much work went into this! I'm impressed by your passion as well as your scientific capabilities.
  18. People are so forward in PMing strangers on this forum! It's a little intimidating...

  19. Not much can really be said here. When the people you care about diss you, only time and an apology from them can cure it. Until then... I send my condolences.
  20. Hey guys, AJ is definitely my favorite of the Mane 6. She wasn't at first, actually. But over time she grew on me. I was born in the south US and I really admire someone who is brave, down to earth and gets work done. (which isn't me hah). She also has a tendency to tunnel vision, which is a flaw I share, which makes her relatable to me. Now, I wanted to say there's a good bit of awesome vampire artwork in this fandom; and not surprisingly, our favorite apple pony is often given the timelessly badass role of the vampire slayer. Here's some of said artwork:
  21. You know who I envy most in the world? Artists. I really wish I could draw as awesomely as some of y'all can. But I'm trying to learn right this moment, so my activity may slow down.

You and me both. I have no real artistic ability and it would be awesome if I did.

  22. So are you not a Christian anymore?
  23. What was the most disturbing experience you've ever had with or witnessed involving another person on the internet? For me, two things come to mind... First is a website I heard about. Can't remember the name, but it was one of those "Thinspiration" sites, which basically encourage people to half starve themselves for the sake of losing weight. Including an encouraging community, images of other people who looked like skin and bones to "inspire you" past the hunger, tricks to get thinner... ugh. It unsettles me so much to think of people doing that to themselves... and people ENCOURAGING it instead of helping to shake them out of it. Secondly, a guy in a Youtube comments section. Can't remember the video, but the dude was an extreme religiously person, and he was a huge transphobic. He was mocking "Tumblrinas" and "pretty boys." (aka male to female transitioners) He was talking about how pathetic they were, how depressed they were, and how he loved making their lives as miserable as possible by harassing their Tumblr accounts. He talked about how they did not deserve to live. If I remember right, he boasted about how many he had driven to suicide, and after the comment chain was finished, he announced he was off to go and try to encourage some more to kill themselves. I was extremely disturbed reading this, to say the least. What a true creep in every sense of the freaking word. What are your creepy, disturbing or funny tales of the darker depths of the internet?
  24. I think that's a more interesting brony story then most people have heh. Also I relate quite a bit to the rest of the post tbh.
  25. Flutter Brutter. I can never think of the world of MLP in the same way again... knowing it has him in it... *shudders* /kappa
