Seeing little kids while I'm in stores (like Walmart, etc) always makes me smile because it just warms my heart to see them, usually goofing around, being silly. Especially when I remember how much fun I had running around stores as a kid. However, I usually try to hide the smile because I don't want to scare the kid or make people think I'm... you know... a creep or something. Similarly, I avoid approaching people younger than me on the internet for the same reason. Inversely, I avoid people who are adults with a family because I know their lives are likely too full to spend a lot of time speaking to me.

No. It may just be a boot (not sure why she'd wear only one), some sort of insignia, or a robotic replacement; either way I think it looks really cool -
A Christmas Carol is a real classic no matter what adaption you look at. As I get older, I see more and more why the stories considered "classics" have the status they do.

Well, science classifies a lot of things as mental disorders so it's really unavoidable. That being said, I imagine a show like this is a kind of magnet for people who are looking for positivity in their lives, and if your mental state is flawed, then you will probably be wanting for some positivity. -

If anyone is aware of me at all (I don't visit that often) I'm probably not particularly liked. I always rub people the wrong way and frustrate them. What I'd probably be known for is my occasional status updates. For the most part, I just lurk or PM chat. Eh, I got a good impression of you. Very "genuine" in posting style (ie easy to tell there's a real person behind it)

Well, the Shy family could be considered dysfunctional due to Zephyr Breeze and how the parents handled him, and Pinkie's family seems to me to have very strong dysfunctional potential. So there's that. Aside from that they don't seem alike. Sure, everyone in Pinkie's family aside from Limestone and Pinkie herself seem quiet, but that's not the same as shy. -
Because I want to believe all the interesting possibilities opened up by those old talents haven't been completely thrown away, darn it.

I really don't think we'll ever know at this point. They're too terrified of breaking headcanons on the matter; that, or she is an orphan and they're scared to go there for whatever reason. The whole episode doesn't need to be about them to show they exist or what they do. Take Sweetie Belle's parents. (Though she seems to just live with Rarity these days anyway). -

She was used a fair bit this season, so no, I don't think she was underused. Whether I liked the direction they took her personality in is a different matter. -

In my personal experience the Pokemon fanbase has a fair share of elitism. Labeling people as Genwunners is elitism, it's not their fault if they like early gens more. Of course if they actively bash the ones that like newer gens that's elitism too. There's also a good bit of elitism against Smogon (competitive meta followers) and those who aren't with Smogon, and there's also a divide between those who hack Pokemon and those that don't. It seems pretty split to me. But then I'm basing all this off GFAQS, so... probably not the best idea lol.
