  1. One key reason she's my favorite crusader (we're both singers).
  2. Before the date shifts on the west si-yeed, happy freakin' birthday!

      Discordian

Well you got the time right, but I wasn't here to see it! D:

      Oh well. =p

  3. I'm not quite ready to make a list yet, but I have to say that Applejack has my favorite part in Winter Wrap Up. For that alone, I don't think she should be last.
  4. I think we're actually set for pies, so bring all the cupcakes you want.
  5. Why did I take so long to mention this? I already have mad respect for Roger Miller as it is, but all I need to do is listen to this to validate that fact: While we're on folky stuff, might as well put up the song my mom's girl scout troop always used to sing:
  6. Red cream soda is just too good.

  7. So on the ride home from school, I was listening to "Bluebird" by Paul McCartney & Wings and *ding* inspiration struck. I ran inside and crafted some new lyrics. I made a YouTube video and forwarded it to somepony who may or may not be named Poni1Kenobi. He shared it with some friends who he likes to play music with. He got back to me and said the following: Me reading that: So here it is, the final fruits of our labors: Bloomberg. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHthDwmqXI0 Lyrics Late at night in your sleeper car, I'll be coming inside for. the tree that I adore, You're my Bloomberg, You're my Bloomberg, you're my Bloomberg, you're my Bloomberg, yeah, yeah, yeah. You're my Bloomberg, you're my Bloomberg, you're my Bloomberg, yeah, yeah, yeah. Touch your leaves with a magic kiss, and a nuzzle on your branch. far away from the good old ranch. You're my Bloomberg, You're my Bloomberg, you're my Bloomberg, you're my Bloomberg, yeah, yeah, yeah. You're my Bloomberg, you're my Bloomberg, you're my Bloomberg, yeah, yeah, yeah. [Chorus] Bloomberg (x3) x2 Bloomberg, Bloomberg, Blooooomberg. Riding through the midnight hour, As we head across the plains. Sleep away those traveling pains. Who's my Bloomberg? You're my Bloomberg, you're my Bloomberg, you're Bloomberg, yeah, yeah, yeah. You're my Bloomberg, you're my Bloomberg, you're my Bloomberg, yeah, yeah, yeah. [Chorus] Don't listen to Rarity! Bloomberg, don't you see?, You're a big, strong apple tree. [Chorus] On a hill in Appleoosa, You sit so proud and high. as the buffalo run by. You're my Bloomberg, You're my Bloomberg, you're my Bloomberg, you're my Bloomberg. Singin' Bloomberg (x3) x2 Bloomberg, Bloomberg, Bloooooomberg.
  8. Here I go again, shilling for The Beatle Bronies. I just think they really knocked this one out of the park. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JabWz6tM9U BTW, Cassonade is having personal troubles that have forced him to leave the group. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers. On a different note,
  9. For the Nightmare Night (Halloween) So Cal Bronies Meetup, I'm going as Soarin'. I've already gotten people to agree to bring pies for me.
  10. Welcome to Pony TV, the home for the amazing original pony music made by the brony community. This does not include remixes. For those, go to the Pony Remixes thread. If it uses content from the show as a primary instrument (at least in an obvious way), that's considered a remix. If they just use a line in a non-musical way, that could be original music. I'll start us off with a double dose. Here's Eurobeat Brony's latest, Discord (Eurochaos Mix): http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDMGv3hNMes To send us off, here's the Silva Hound classic, Spitfire: http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sEhgtwkgW8 Update: Well, it's finally happened. Carrot Top got her !
  11. Here's the second track from Seasons, the upcoming Griffin Village EP (it's a Jackle App project), "Winter (Gilda)":
  12. Just so you know, Gummy, there are a few references to the old sub ride in the new one. I squeed like crazy the first time I rode the new one and found them. As a Christmas present, my grandparents would fund an annual pass throughout my childhood and early teens. In the past few years, I've barely ever gone. I did stand in line the day they reopened Space Mountain for preview riding. Caught the fireworks show while I was outside. Watching then comes second only to when they went off while I was riding the Matterhorn singing Jazzy Jingle Bells (it was a Jazz Choir trip). BTW, I can usually faintly hear the fireworks going off during the 9 PM hour (live in La Mirada). If you sit on my roof, you may even see them. Here come the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim: http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=etPQJvM8IvI
  13. As far as the classics go (from the golden age of cartoons, silver being 87-late 90's/early 00's), I've always been a Jungle Book guy. I was so stoked to see the Kaa eyes used by Discord. Lion King, Snow White, Rescuers Down Under, most of Pixar's stuff. Lots of quality from this company. And you can't talk about Disney without mentioning those wonderful TV toons they put out during the silver age like Ducktales, Darkwing Duck and Gargoyles.
  14. This nails what I'd like to see right on the head. Sweetie Bell's my favorite crusader, and I don't think they highlight her enough. Maybe Twilight very quickly mention how she always wanted a sister.
  15. Dude, you have the same birthday as the show? Most awesome! Have a wild one.

    1. Scritches

      Scritches

Well, depends on where you are I guess. My b-day is technically the 9th. But apparently it was the 10th where you are. Either way thank you for well wishing.

  16. A Wham-Wham-Wozzle! Happy Birthitude to you, Diamond Mint. So insanely awesome you share the show's birthday.

  17. Hey Lyra? Do you like mmmmmmmbananas? Here's a little one year anniversary gift from Equestrian Innovations (yes, the show is one year old ): Update: Well, it's finally happened. Carrot Top now has her own song.
  18. There can never be enough birthday stuff, so declareth Pinkie Pie! Also, happy birthday to: 1. Leatherneck (27) 2. Diamond Mint (18) 3. THE SHOW! That's right, everypony. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is one year old today. Let's take a look at the soon-to-be-old theme and remember how we might have cringed at the sight of it before...and then laugh. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXGQGsv8eBQ
  19. Why isn't there an "Ask Pinkie Pie" thread yet?

    1. PlNKlE PIE

      PlNKlE PIE

      I dunno LOL ¯\(^3^)/¯

  20. Wait, new pony?! That's Japanese for "Welcome, Linguz! "
  21. Alright, everypony, time to get this par-tay started! http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBYGTEj7s0w
  22. I learned this the hard way when I showed my mom the show last night. We got to Rainbow Dash crashing into Twilight, and she called uncle. She said it was too juvenile to take seriously and that anyone who's part of the college-aged to 35-something audience is really immature. It's actually quite sad, considering I think she'd really benefit from the positive influence of ponies given what's going on in the world right now. She's too much of a realist to accept that kind of escape, but I think the show deals with enough real issues, basic as they may be, to take at least a bit seriously. I too can't tell my dad I watch it now, but I've shown him "What Pinkie Pie's Song Actually Sounded Like" and he laughed his plot off. Whatever. Maybe when the appeal spreads and she knows people like Bill Clinton, Steven Colbert and Lady Gaga are among our ranks, she'll give it another shot. Plus, my sister has a kid coming, and if it's a girl that could be an easier entryway. Meanwhile, I'll get back to converting my entire music department. Oh, and managing the So Cal Brony Bulletin Board. Feel so accomplished whenever I update that.
  23. Happy Friendship is Magic Day! Oh wait, there's another hour to go on the West Coast. Be back in an hour.
