  1. The current best face of s7.
  2. Both of them were amazing! It was interesting to have two different episodes as the premiere, and I was a little skeptical about the idea, but it turned out nicely. Kind of nice to have the new season start without any apocalyptic events threatening the whole world, for a change. "Celestial Advice" was heartwarming all the way. The scene where Celestia confessed her past doubts to Twilight was one of the most D'AAAWW-inducing things in the whole show and made me feel so warm and fuzzy inside. And it was nice to see the followup into the last finale. The only thing I didn't like in this episode was Discord, he was annoying. "All Bottled Up" was just fun. Although there was a darker tone in Starlight trying to contain her anger, this episode was really entertaining and, like I said, fun to watch. Really though, what really made this episode great in my eyes was the new song. It became my new favorite! The writers seem to love Trixie now, huh? Well, I'm not complaining, she is an enjoyable character that has come far, and she had some good moments in "All Bottled Up". Also, I grew to like her friendship with Starlight more. If they continues like this, this might end up being the best season ever! I'm so excited for what's next!
  3. I have noticed. And when I saw that the VA of the second best pony had such political views, I was disappoint.
  4. The scientist-Twilight. I rest my case. Intellect is attractive. And of course, Midnight Sparkle. And for the male characters I have to go with Flash Sentry.
  5. Very cute art style here. I love how fluffy her mane is. And the eyebrows! The double-sided mane fits Dashie well.
  6. Capper and Tempest interest me the most. Both have dark pasts. Tempest might be similar to Luna in some ways, she might be evil and turn good in some point, although still having trouble fitting in because of her reputation. Or she might be a full on villain (which I wouldn't mind. MLP already has many reformed characters) or an anti-hero, more in the gray area (this would be interesting). I wonder if Capper is "turned hero" already in the beginning, or does the change happen over time? I would prefer the latter, because I love sly, intelligent villains, which he would be for sure. As for the species, I had a hard time choosing between "anthro" and "other (Grubber species)". Grubber reminds me, too, of hyenas, and I wonder will he and Storm King be like Scar and the hyenas from Lion King . I hope they will not make him just a dumb comic relief, but based on the character descriptions, this might sadly be the case. I still chose "anthro".
  7. Oh look, he's wittle now! Cats doing cat things, I guess.
  8. ^ D'aaawww! More Dash cuteness!
  9. A cat character, huh? Interesting. I like his design, but that's all can say about him at the time being. Somehow reminds me of the movie "Felidae".
  10. I have uni entrance exams coming up this spring. Book horse is a great motivator for reading.
  11. Happy (late) birthaversary, Dashie! Probably my new favorite fan art of her (or at the very least in the top three), found through the courtesy of EQD's Rainbow Dash Day.
  12. Three words: happy flipping Dashie. :3
  13. 40% Fluttershy, because I've always been shy and I easily get nervous in new situations, especially if I'm going to be at the center of attention. Even though I'm usually kind and gentle-hearted, when I get angry, I REALLY get angry. I've been bullied in the past which left deep marks on my self-confidence. Also, I love animals and get along with them really well, sometimes even better than with people. Seeing animals in distress is something I just can't stand, to the point that I've rescued bees from water-filled buckets and moved worms off the road. 40% Applejack, because I love countryside and my dream is to live on a farm just like her. Traditions and family are really important to me and I'm old-fashioned. I'm critical towards new ideas and I usually prefer to stay on my comfort-zone. I can be really competitive when in the right mood, but usually I'm more diplomatic type. I have good appetite, but I'm physical enough that it doesn't show. 20% Twilight, because I'm really nerdy and I love studying and reading in general. I love to analyse things (sometimes to the point of over-analyzing) and I can be really meticulous, but only in things that are not that important. I'd love to have Twilight's organizing skills in things like studying and keeping my things properly arranged.
  14. This is my first post to the RDFC, so I thought that I should just write in detail why Rainbow Dash is my favorite pony. RD was the first thing I saw about the show. In addition with the heaps of fan art, I remember that the famous "You're Gonna Go Far Kid" PMV was the first specific thing I saw. So, when I first started watching the show, I had big expectations for RD, since it seemed that everyone loved her. My first impression of her in the show wasn't that positive. When she and Twilight had their first conversation together, my first thought was "How can anyone like this pony? She's so arrogant" or something like that. I still thought that the action scenes with Rainbow were one of the best moments in the show, and I really wanted to like RD, but she still was one of my least favorite ponies for a long time, because I didn't understand her personality yet, and she hadn't had time to develop. But over the course of now six seasons of FiM, Dashie has gone through some immense development and growth as a character, to the point where she's the most complex character in the show. We know that RD spent her childhood on Flight Camp, where bullying was an everyday occurrence. Anyone would end up developing a tough, taking-shit-from-nobody-attitude, especially when having to stand up for your friends, which Rainbow did with Fluttershy and Gilda. And that personality has stuck with her ever since. Or that's how I see it. Of course Rainbow Dash is brave by nature, but we've seen that she's not completely fearless. She's a pony that doesn't hesitate a second to kick a dragon tens of times her size, but will go full on panic-mode when having to perform at The Best Young Flier -competition. She also felt the need to hide a part of herself in "Read It And Weep", because she thought it would affect on her public image negatively. She holds herself at enormous standards and other ponies do to, and sometimes she crushes under the pressure. That's something that I, and many others, can relate to. But the best thing about her isn't her flaws, but that she gets over them. She knows that she is and HAS to be better than that, both for herself and her friends. If that's not inspiring, I don't know what is! Rainbow Dash reprisents something I wish to become like, something to look up to as a role model. Rainbow Dash is also an important reminder that people are not black and white. Sure, she is a popular athlete, but also a huge geek, who gets nerdgasms over fantasy books and musicals, and is the first to jump into a role-playing game in "Dungeons And Discords" (and plays as my favorite class, rogue, and looks super cool while doing it). One of the best things about Mane 6 is that while they represent a common trope, they have more going on as characters than you might think on a first look, and it's really apparent in Rainbow Dash. And I don't care how tough she's trying to look, she is the cutest pony ever. :3 Somehow it's even more awesome when it's a small, adorable pony that does all them feats of strength.
  15. Nightmare Moon is the only villain I can relate to at all, because I get jealous too easily. And I can probably understand why Starlight did what she did, which makes her relateable to me.
  16. I love black metal, especially with a bit of folk blended in. This is not the most traditional piece of black metal, far from it, but it's still a masterpiece and I love it to death.
  17. I used to eat fast food several times a week years ago, but now I avoid it. Probably the only times I go to a fast food place is when I'm out with a friend and they really want to go eat fast food, which occurs once or twice a year at best. The reasons to this are that I don't approve of their ruthless business practices and I feel that it's much, much more rewarding to take the effort and cook yourself. If I eat out, I prefer to go to a real restaurant. And if I need something little to eat fast, I prefer little coffee shops that offer sandwiches or something like that.
  18. That. Was. AWESOME! Yes, I just watched it moments ago. I fell back on the sixth season for a bit. If The Best Night ever didn't have so much nostalgia value over me, I would say that this was my favorite of all season finales, hands down. It was refreshing that for once it wasn't the Mane 6 defeating the evil threatening Equestria. While I'm not that much of a fan for Starlight, I love Discord, Trixie and Thorax and it was a thrill seeing them together. Also, I begun to like Starlight a bit more after seeing this. It was great to see dreamwalking Luna and mailmare (though silent) Derpy. The references, like peanut butter crackers, were cool, and it was funny how Discord broke the fourth wall by acknowledging them all as "secondary characters". I raised an eyebrow in surprise when I saw the love-filled Thorax, in a good way. Reformed Changelings' designs were beautiful in my opinion. Thorax is one of the most sweet and heartwarming characters ever in FiM imo, and it's awesome that he leads the changelings for now. Stellar finale for a stellar season. In my opinion FiM just keeps getting better and better. Season 6 has got to be one of my favorite seasons in this whole show. This made my happy and hyped up for what season seven brings forth.
  19. Chemistry was my favorite subject in high school, and I am a pretty big chemistry nerd. It's just so amazing how everything in this universe works the way they do just because teeny tiny atoms (or electrons to be precise) collide just right. So, I just have to go with chemistry. I'm also interested in psychology. Human mind is fascinating, and psychiatrist was my childhood dream job. Astronomy is interesting too, but I don't have too much knowledge about it.

My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Rainbow Dash How did you find MLP Forums?: Someone mentioned it on another forum. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I started to see fan art and -fiction everywhere in 2011. I've always loved animations, so I wanted to check it out. I immediately liked the show. For a year I just watched random episodes here and there when I felt like it, but when I discovered the fandom in 2012 and made friends there, I watched all the episodes that had been made. I've been hooked ever since. Hello everyone! I remember having an account here already, but I've forgotten what it was. But anyway, I wanted to come back and create a new one. I used to be semi-active on another forum, but that one is not so active anymore, unlike this place. I'm a 20-year-old young woman from Finland. Besides ponies, I enjoy cooking and baking, working out, music (especially black and folk metal), writing and drawing, things like that. I like all ponies, but I think RD is the best. Pinkie and Twilight are really close second.
