I loved "Frenemies"! One of the highlights of season 9 so far. The chemistry between the three villains is truly something!

"Sweet and Smoky" was a nice episode too, though not as good as its predecessor. As for cute moments, my favorite was this one.

I think I do, actually. I remember we became friends quite soon after that. And I was a bit surprised when you won your first day so soon (it takes longer for most people – for me, more than a year).

I agree with you on this one, I'd rate it about an 8.75 out of 10. Not an all-time great, but still a very good episode – I'd rank it slightly lower than episode 4, but higher than episode 3.

Nice to see Spike get a second great role in a row, kind of playing the voice of reason here. I also liked to see Moon Dancer again!

I definitely agree! The voice actresses contributing to the story was something I found really interesting, and the episode itself was great! A fun episode, with some emotional moments too (the ending in particular). In its final season, the show is still as awesome as it has always been!

You did an awesome job!  And it's always great to see a banner with ponies who rarely appear in them (I wonder if this is the first one with Roseluck in it)!

Amazing review! I don't really have much to add – you covered the season at its best and worst in so much detail, and I agree on most of the points. Apart from "School Raze" being among my favorite episodes (probably even my number one of season 8), and likewise Ocellus for the character list.

I liked it too. I don't feel it quite achieved the quality of "The Beginning of the End" (though that was an exceptionally good one), but I enjoyed it anyway. Seeing the Student 6 is always nice. The episode may not have been one of my absolute favorites, but I found it cute... The song was fun (I especially liked Ocellus singing) and the ending was nice. Probably an 8.5/10 for me.

I agree, an even better start to the season than I expected! I'm glad to see you liked it as much as I did, it easily got the highest grade from me too. Even with the high ratings I give, a 10 out of 10 isn't that common, so they did an awesome job!

It's obvious this won't be the last time we see the villains... I loved the chemistry between them, so I'm looking forward to whatever we get next. All of the mane cast were also great, I also felt Pinkie had her best portrayal in a while.

Somehow the comment I was going to post at first grew into a full review, something I didn't expect to write again.

I think characters with flaws are a lot more interesting than ones without them! I prefer Luna to Nightmare Moon, but as with several other characters (Starlight, Trixie, Sunset...), their past really shows how they've improved from their past selves.

Also, that they've reconciled really shows how strong the bond between Celestia and Luna is, in spite of everything that happened (both Luna becoming Nightmare Moon and Celestia's decision to banish her).

It's been a while since I played the Sonic games, but I owe a lot to the hedgehog too! It was playing my sister's old NES and Mega Drive games that got me into gaming in the first place, and I think Sonic 2 was the first game I really enjoyed playing. From there, I moved on to newer games – getting a GameCube, and obviously some Sonic games along with all the others. Sonic Mega Collection was awesome – I really need to get back to it someday and finally play through Sonic 1 (I've completed all the other original main Sonic games)!

I agree completely! Especially looking at season 8 and that amazing, possibly unmatched five-episode streak near the end (which you've also mentioned before).

@Sparklefan1234 Faust's contributions to the show as a writer are something I'd like to have seen more, even though I think the show retained its high quality after she left. I wouldn't consider the three episodes she wrote near the best, but it's hard to say what she would have done if she had written more... The episodes she wrote for Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends were largely regarded as some of the best in the series – I don't think we saw her writing at its best in MLP, though it's hard to say if she would have done as well with the MLP universe or not...

The one with smaller numbers looks good to me!

Also, I think I've said it before, but the game looks so cute and awesome! Good luck with the project, my friend!

Not an abomination at all! I think it's a good drawing, much better than anything I could create for sure!

On the second point, I guess it depends on how long you sleep. If you sleep something like 14 hours, I guess it doesn't do anything to solve the problem – if less, possibly...

And as for the last one, it's really down to personal preference. I don't really think either is better or worse, except I don't get notifications for blogs (the only option seems to be email notifications for some reason)...

What a wonderful dream! Everything about it sounds so beautiful... Very relaxing in general – and what could be more awesome than meeting your favorite pony?
