Goodnight everypony! How were your days, my friends? Mine was great. Relaxing day, got a good workout in, and am getting to bed (semi) early.

One of the biggest problems with buying CDs: sometimes the covers shatter as soon as you open them... One CD I recently bought had that happen in the 2nd worst possible way, and I'm going to have to return it to the store. At least I got a digital copy of the music on disc.

To those I'm DMing with: I can check the forums on my phone but I prefer sending DMs with my laptop, which is at home. So if you see that I have been online and not responded to you, please don't think I'm ignoring you.

What if conspiracy theorists. . . aren't real?
What if they're just government agents, paid to deceive us with rumours and empty lies to stop us from ever uncovering the truth?
SpoilerThere never was a conspiracy. . .

Is Star Wars The Clone Wars worth watching? I heard the episode order is a complete mess or something.
-
Yes. As others have said, It's awesome.
From a true Star Wars fan, I can say that the order isn't hard to follow, if you know your stuff. I loved the show because it filled in the gaps between episodes 2 and 3, not to mention bringing in some of my favorite characters in the entire Star Wars universe!
Definitely worth the watch!

Tired as all hell. I could seriously go to sleep at 7pm ☠️

Hello again lovelies sorry I want on again yesterday, I really just got caught up trying to do some things around the house
But today when I tried to go to work, we ended up being blocked by flooding it's over three feet on one side of the road, and even deeper in the opposite direction about seven hundred feet the other way! I ended up having to get the other director from the East in building to fill In for me! also we're having to close tomorrow due to having no staff that can be there, so we're having a heck of a time
I may not even be able to get to work tomorrow either, it's all crazy
But nevermind that, how're you all my wonderfuls?

Been watching season 1 episodes; kinda really puts it into perspective how much the Mane 6, CMC, and Spike have grown as characters since late 2010.

i should do my schoolwork but i can't even find the motivation to pick up my controller and play a game. or do anything.
but what is actually stopping me? myself. but why? no idea.
i guess i'm kinda scared to fail a test because i can't remember shit in history. and i have to pass every test. every. test. at least a 65%, i think it is. but that's what i got on my last history test. really close. but it's not like i can just retake it. it costs money to retake tests (woo, online school because i failed out of regular school). and i don't know how to study or take notes. in school i was always able to just do pretty much anything without trying at all until suddenly that stopped being the case and i had no idea how to do anything. and then i never learned how to actually study or take notes so i'm stuck. i mean, technically i could make a copy of the entire page and find the answers as i take the test. it's not like there's a teacher watching over me. but, in the event that i am caught cheating, i believe i'm kicked out of the school. unless i'm remembering it wrong. idk. like, they could say "wow, he sure is taking his time answering those questions. probably looking for the answers somewhere. cheating. bye." and then what? or i could try to do it myself but potentially fail.
i always did hate history class.

Ok cool. Believe it or not, (as Twilight says) the most important way to know something is to study it. As hard and boring as it may seem, it is imperative for you to read about what you are learning. You don't even need to carefully read every word; just skim, and jot down a summary here, a gist there, and you're set. With notes, I've learned that more isn't always better. Instead of wasting your time by writing down the entire book in your notes, write only the most important stuff. 5 pages of solid notes can be more effective than 15 pages of unnecessary and wordy notes.
Also, go to YouTube, and watch some videos of History teachers or experts break down topics. Some people, (like myself), are better visual learners. Videos with pictures and animations make the information fun, and memorable at the same time. Sometimes, just hearing somebody talk about a topic can help instill it into your mind.
If you want to, you can purchase extra textbooks online, that serve as outlines for review. I remember back when I had European history, I bought this book designed to help me pass the AP exam at the end of the year, with chapter summaries, outlines, and even model tests. Huge help.
To emphasize, you could have all of the resources in the world, but without the proper work ethic and determination, it wouldn't matter. The ultimate key is to care. Seriously care.
Hope this helps

You know brotha, I felt the same way. History was always the class that I did the worst in. I hated memorizing dates, and people, and stuff. I just liked reflecting and thinking about things, (so English clash naturally appealed to me), hence I decided to major in English. I have some techniques and tricks that i used to help me master history class, and even get A's in it throughout High School. I can't exactly do your history paper, but I'd be happy to shoot you some pointers!
What history class are you taking?
By the way, I am sorry that even while you are suffering, I couldn't help but think of the history clas part of the bar scene from Good Will Hunting XD!

Do you like Phil Collins?
I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism.
Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.

My mother mentioned to me today that she saw a chicken crossing the road.
With a turkey walking alongside it.
I'm sure there's a joke to be made here but I'm not brave enough to go looking for it.
