Well, I'm new to the forums, but definitely not new to the fandom, so I can offer you as much insight as I can. Up until recently, we had many episodes of MLP to keep us occupied, with more and more discussions every single day. In addition, FiMfiction is always actively producing more and more fan fiction, and more and more artists are sharing their art on deviantart.com as well. This gives us loads of content to continually analyze and discuss, while we wait for more episodes. For example, I know the subreddit /r/mylittlepony has the "hiatus" period, where tons of new content and topics are produced while we eagerly wait for the next season. Also, I find that this site is also good for just bringing up other non-pony stuff, that keeps bringing me back. Here, I can ask any question I have, talk about my interests, and make friends that share those same interests, which I have. Just a great place to socialize in general!

Yes I believe in love. What is love? (baby don't hurt me) Love is a complex concept, but also simplistic at the same time. One experiences love when they put someone else's feelings before their own. Sometimes, it is doing what is best for someone, despite what they might think of it. Tough love if you will. Love is when someone is impulsively attracted to someone or something. It is the feeling of comfort and trust and loyalty towards someone or something.

Being a nerd is definitely not bad or weird. Nerd itself shouldn't be used as an insult, but society has deemed it so. Being educated and into reading, or writing, or school, or things of that nature, is great, and will take you places in life. I too am an avid writer, and am on the path to majoring in English, and I have experience with being known as a nerd. The only reason that people look down upon "nerds" is because the media and society in general have deemed nerds to be antisocial and weird. In reality, this is not the case. In fact, so called nerds likely have better problem solving skills than average people, have a wide variety of interests, and are just smarter in general. Have we really reached a point where being smart is not cool? So, to answer your question, being a nerd is completely fine. Different is good. People are too concerned with acting cool. 20 years from now, no one will care what you wore - they'll care about what you accomplished and where you are now. My definition of cool is being accepting of who you are, and accepting of others and who they are. Those are the only things that matter.

I go into my garage, close the door, turn on some chill music, and just lift some weights. Nothing like a good workout to relieve the stress from school/work.

Thanks! I aspire to be a writer, and I am currently on track to major in English! So, throwback to like sophomore year in high school. Math class. Super hot day. Boring lecture. We just want a little power nap (we've all been there). My teacher, who has a thick accent, is teaching this super boring math lesson, and might I add, horribly. Now, I used to love math. I was great at math until they put the alphabet in it. Anyway, I was in class, and I let my eyes rest for what seemed like 2 minutes. Great nap by the way. I wake up to drool all over my paper, entirely blank except for my name, and the sound of my teacher yelling at me. It was funny, I saw it in his eyes; this mischievous look that he had on his face. The, "Oh you fucked up." look. Then he asked me to go up to the board to solve an example problem, which was laughably easy if you paid attention. So, I go up to the board in front of the whole class, who is already dying of laughter, and do my best. I started with what I always did when teachers would walk by me: I took extra long to write out the problem to make it seem like I was working. Once I reached the point where I couldn't go on, I looked at my teacher with a look of embarrassment and needing help, but he gave me no such sympathy. So here I was, the total idiot standing up, not knowing what to do. Finally, I forced the words "I don't know" out. As if things couldn't get any worse, right as I said "know" 15 year old me had a horrible voice crack. I took what seemed like the longest walk ever back to my seat. Even the teacher got a laugh out of that one. I never heard the end of that one. Jokes on that teacher though: I aced that test and passed the class with a B. Favorite band?

Yea I was in my garage just chilling, listening to music, lifting some weights, and then my garage door starts to open. (Keep in mind that the only way that someone could open it without being inside is with the remote) Then the garage door, which is pretty loud, starts to open. I think to myself "Shit. There's someone trying to break in." So I grab the nearest thing that I could use as a weapon, a bat, and squared up, cause momma ain't raise no sissy. When the door finished opening, I saw that there wasn't anybody there. Confused, I looked around and noticed that I just sat on the remote... What is your favorite movie franchise?
