True, but she doesn’t sound like a direct opposite. A more vicious dictator, sure. I will admit, her interest in building a power-based hierarchy is a big contrast with Starlight’s interests. -
She sounds like an interesting villain. Some points are different to Starlight’s, but some are similar.

Well, a clearly-opposite villain would be someone who wants the world to be dictated by ponies’ marks. Someone who wants everyone to follow their preordained paths with no deviation whatsoever. But what would that look like? Would they take over with force, or try to create their perfect world from the shadows? And what else could be different from Starlight?

I’m in a meeting where the host’s young daughter is watching MLP in the background.
She keeps screaming “They’re laughing at Twilight, they think she’s a bad queen!” and “They’re in their mom and dad’s castle!” which is… confusing, but mentions of Chrysalis needing to learn friendship narrow down what she’s watching.

I’m… a contrarian around pessimists, so for a long time I thought I was an optimist. But I did some thinking lately and came to the conclusion that, while I prefer to think happy thoughts, to be positive, and to staunchly avoid having long conversations for the sole sake of complaining—I am wholly a pessimist.

Weird topic, I know. Do you like figurative language? Do you use it a lot, or do you prefer to write in a straightforward manner, or something else? Do you have a favorite type of figurative language? I like it enough to make this topic. I usually don’t use it, but it depends. I like metaphors, idioms, and irony, and I’m also partial to zeugmas.

Been rereading one of my favorite long stories on Fimfiction over the past few days, even though I should be reading something new from my virtual shelf. Also cleaned out my closet a bit, but it’s hard to tell I did anything.
Also, food. I’m going to make food. Of some kind.

The time this week when I went to a foodplace and my old classmate pulled into the parking spot next to me.

I like thrift stores, although I’m far more interested in the random objects and antiques than the clothing.
It’s dark and cold so I haven’t been out today but I’m glad the school week is over.
