Terrible. My dad and my brother hates me for watching My Little Pony and wants me to finish watching it as soon as possible. How do I convince them to change their opinion and even to watch My Little Pony The Movie on Christmas? The only close people supporting me for now are my sister (biggest supporter), my mum, psychologist (I love her) and (possibly) my younger sister. I feel like I'm lazy, like I almost only care about Ponies, not being productive. They maybe think that I'm unhealthy, that I'm "escaping", that I will move to other stuff like Hello Kitty (I don't care about Hello Kitty), and that I'm losing and will be "stuck in the parents basement watching ponies" instead of "having a job". I feel like that it shouldn't be a problem but it is a problem that I'm watching a tv show. Once I changed my computer wallpaper to My Little Pony and my dad forced me to change it back. (I mentally collapsed, I couldn't breathe) Speaking of wallpapers, I used to have mlp wallpaper on my phone (still using it whenever I go to school, and changing it everytime I go home. Yea, risky, but we have to be brave, am I right.) but my dad changed it without my permission and almost removed all MLP related screenshots (which are from Ambizar video). When I asked him why he did that he said "It's your fault". But I didn't do anything morally wrong, I just watch My Little Pony. I'm scared that one day, I will be watching a episode and my dad will turn off electricity, punish me and ban me from watching it. I don't want them to think I'm doing some stupid stuff and wasting time. (My dad already nicknamed me "time waster" and used that term multiple times, annoying me for it.) My dad once said "I would rather accept you becoming gay than watching horses". Why can't we just live life, why do we have do deal with stupid Drama like this? Why do we have to "fit in"? I would to live. FREE (not doing stupid illegal stuff). Dude, it's a show about Pastel-colored horses learning about friendship, not a frickin' p*rn or a "stupid kids show" or a "Tea party-type girly show". I think I know why people left the fandom in 2015.

Right now I feel depressed. (Almost) Nothing interesting seems to be happening right now. Also, I don't want leave a fandom that I only recently joined just because it doesn't thrive. But it doesn't seem to be motivating for me to stay. (Although I'm still interested in re-watching the show)

If Anti-Bronies called Bronies weird, then I won't bother, cause they are Anti-Bronies and I can't change their opinion. If people called us weird but won't even mind with us then I'm fine with that. What would bother me though would be if the general public believe narrative that we are p*doph*les, cl*pers, zooph*les who s*xualizes animals and watch p*rn of Ponies and also that we are all "toxic" "unfriendly" and that we are all cosplayers and that we hate women or little girls, as well as being 'obsessed' with ponies. (In a negative extreme connotation) I also hate the label autistic or LGBTI to represents all Bronies, I think there are Bronies who are Neurotypicals and straight, not just lesbian, gay or autistic. (Even though I have Autism myself). But I wouldn't go myself too far calling those people out, as that would be rude and unfriendly and it would be even against the messages in the show. I think that most Bronies are straight neurotypicals, but that there is some vocal Neurodiverse, as well as LGBTI minority. Ps: Whether anyone is a Brony or a non Brony, don't call out people for opposite opinion, it's pretty rude.(That's why I mostly stopped watching commentary YouTubers) Think positively. Friendship is Magic. -
Do they have more opportunities and recognition now? Even after they lost? What would happen if they get a wildcard? -

Quite relaxed and bit of happiness, but sorta disappointed that the Fandom is no longer that popular anymore and doesn't seems to be returning significantly.

I think G4 seasons 10 and later could of been good if done right.

I admit it, I really want to hate G5, but I have never seen it. I'm currently focusing on re-watching FIM. (And later movies and stuff). I then want to watch the G5 stuff (and maybe Pony Life, just for curiosity, although I'm skeptical) and see if it's worth. This may be really unpopular, but I think FIM should have continued with more seasons till today and beyond. G5 should have never happened or at least should have been it's own thing. (It's silly watching 3D cartoon with different ideas that is a continuation of 2D cartoon). But maybe I'm just overly critical and "overnostalgic" for the glory days of the Fandom (I regret not being appart of it during that times, although I really liked the show as a kid). Maybe something beyond will happen that will bring a fandom renesaince (and even a next gen Bronies), but we don't see it really click right now. Let's look forward what Hasbro does with G5 on 19. September and see where it goes from there. I'm optimistic (maybe overly optimistic) that better days for the fandom are ahead.

I remember watching MLP:FIM on a Czechoslovak kids channel called Minimax. I don't remember when I started watching it first (probably sometime between 2010-2012) but I really liked it and watched since then. But then, I abandoned it maybe sometime in 2015/2016 I think (I don't remember). But, I recently came back to it (I still haven't watched first episode till the end, cause I'm very shy of someone seeing, that I as a boy is watching this stuff!) It's cool, I remember having Rainbow Dash 🌈 as my favourite character (I thought she was boy), before her, I think my favourite one was Twilight Sparkle. (Primarily because of her stories) I hope better days are ahead for the fandom. (I am optimistic) I hope PewDiePie and others will watch it sometime.
