  1. To me, violence should be a last resort when discussions fail. I believe in handling conflicts with compassion and kindness whenever possible. Growing up, there were a few instances where I had to defend myself, but mostly I stood up for others who were being physically and verbally bullied.
  2. Hi Bright! :D I've been all over the place, but I hope you are doing well!

I just saw this recommendation and thought of you :ButtercupLaugh:

  3. While I agree with taking the day off, my situation is a bit tricky because my birthday often falls during the week or around Thanksgiving. As a result, I either already have the day off, or my day off is scheduled before or after, which means I miss out on celebrating my birthday due to work. Sometimes my job does not want to give me the day as it would mean that I would have 4 day weekend! That’s been the case for the past year or two. Luckily, those days were typically quiet, but I recall being at the office feeling bored as clients were closed, though I did get to leave early.
  4. I was at a party earlier where they served tacos con carne asada.
  5. I sometimes feel the same way, but I think it's fantastic that everyone has their own unique interests. It opens the door for me to discover new things I might not have explored otherwise. Even if I don’t end up enjoying something, the process of exploring it and understanding its appeal to others can be really valuable. Embracing this diversity of experiences and finding meaning in the exploration itself is important. It can also help me understand others better, which is something I’m starting to appreciate more.
  6. Happy Birthday Naiya! :balloon::blue_baloon::balloon::blue_baloon::balloon::blue_baloon:

I hope you have a wonderful day! May your day be filled with lots of confetti!

On another note - I just saw your commission page and I love your art! I just might reach out for a commission soon for my OC.

  7. Hi @Zephyr_ Welcome to the MLP Forums! I hope you enjoy your stay here, everypony is kind here
  8. I'm really glad to hear you're feeling better now. That must have been so overwhelming—getting on the wrong bus and ending up at a high school sounds terrifying, especially on the first day. I can only imagine how stressed you must have felt, but I'm so glad the driver helped you get to the right school in the end. It’s also a relief that you weren’t the only one in that situation. I know the first day didn’t go as planned, but I’m sure things will get easier from here. You’ll master that locker before you know it! You got this Sketch, we believe in you!
  9. All the time—look, they're watching over there by the window! Oh, did you see that? They just scurried away!
  10. I love it! I'm not sure why, but it just hit me that we should create a commercial or a jingle for the MLPForums.
  11. Hey Sketch! I like your new pfp! :D

Ah, maybe its how the file is compressed or formatted, I know that happened to me for my cover photo on my profile.

  12. I'm glad to hear someone else has heard of Joanna! She's great! I heard "Sprout and the Bean" a while back.
  13. Feeling good after completing 5 miles outdoors earlier when the world was still asleep. It’s refreshing to walk and run, sometimes feeling like the only one around. Now, it's time to tackle a job assessment test and dive into multiple case studies for school.
  14. Management interviews have been pushed back to next month, which is really frustrating, especially since these interviews have 4-7 rounds—it’s ridiculous. It’s ironic how companies demand so much from you, yet basic courtesy seems to be overlooked. I noticed the post office is hiring again, and since things are taking longer than expected, even with my experience and education, I went ahead and applied. I’ve worked for them before years ago, but in a processing center. This time, I’d practically be Muffins delivering mail. The pay and benefits are generally good, and the raises are impressive—it increases significantly in a short time. Our local mail carrier mentioned several people made on average 80K - 110K with overtime, which is wild to me.
  15. After trying out a lot of recommendations of new bands and genres during a long drive today, this was the last great song I heard on my way back home. Thanks for the Eluveitie recommendation @Ice Princess Silky ! What wonderful music!
  16. Oooh so many couples to choose from, here's a few that come to mind: Charlie Morningstar and Vaggie - Hazbin Hotel. Luz Noceda and Amity Blight & Raine Whispers and Eda Clawthorne - The Owl House. Korra and Asami Sato - The Legend of Korra. Ruby and Sapphire - Steven Universe. Princess Bubblegum and Marceline the Vampire Queen - Adventure Time. Adora and Catra - She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
  17. Feeling great after finishing a job interview that I think went pretty well.

For Speculative Fiction Buffs: "Middlegame" by Seanan McGuire: A dark and intricate novel about twins with extraordinary powers, exploring themes of gender and identity. "An Unkindness of Ghosts" by Rivers Solomon: Set on a generation ship, this powerful sci-fi novel deals with themes of race, gender, and oppression in a richly imagined world. These novels are more than just great reads; they’re windows into the many facets of LGBT+ life, offering representation and stories that resonate with our community. 19. Feeling unusually nervous. I've got more reading for my marketing course than I anticipated, and I have interviews lined up for the next two days.
  20. I have not, I will add it to the list of groups to check out. Wow! I was thinking of this exact meme when I first saw Sparkle's.
  21. Call it a hunch, but I always had a feeling that Silky listens to like hardcore death metal or something
  22. Great commercial! I got to check out those jams soon!
  23. Google, can you show me the fastest way to Canterlot? My chariot’s in the shop, and Twilight’s magic map is acting up again!
  24. Likewise! It’s a nice and cozy little game. It feels like autumn vibes, but the game came out in like the winter or spring of 2017, I think. This and the “Over the Garden Wall” cartoon always give me autumn and Halloween vibes. Speaking of which- it’s almost time for my annual rewatch of “Over the Garden Wall”!
