    I don't think a prequel would be the way to go. Maybe a spin-off film that passes the Elements to the Student Six? That said, a story about the end of Twilight's reign would be too depressing. It would have to be something more upbeat.

    I don't see any reason why her immortality would be removed, but we're talking about magical (supernatural?) creatures so maybe? We can look at the Constantine movie when the angle Gabriel's wings were torn off and they became mortal. Or we have the television series Lucifer where "Lucy" cut off his own wings and was still immortal.

    Sure, there's that chance! It's going to depend on the showrunner(s) and how much leeway is granted by Hasbro.

    I see two possible routes: 1) South past Dodge City, through the Badlands and the Forbidden Jungle to reach the Bone Dry Desrt. 2) Follow the railroad over Ghastly Gorge, through Appleloosa and the Macintosh Hills, to the Mysterious South, reaching the Bone Dry Desert closer to Klugetown.

    My Little Pony: Classics Reimagined--The Odyssey should be in comic shops on November 6, 2024. Penguin Random House lists a paperback release date of March 18, 2025. The paperback price is $12.99 (US).

    For a long time there was the question of whether Zecora actually had a cutie mark or was it a tattoo. After all, Zebra are more closely related to donkeys (who lack cutie marks) than they are to horses. We do see that Mariama and her daughter Skye both have cutie marks (My Little Pony issue #14):

    Definitive confirmation from Hasbro (via Equestria Daily): Hasbro Confirms To Equestria Daily That My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale Will End On October 17 by overcast This statement is very similar to one that Hasbro provided to the Twitter user My Little Pony Facts a week ago. The information is presented in a different order, but there are only a few other minor differences, such as the newly italicized sentences. More at the link.

    Renegade Con Schedule: It looks like any My Little Pony reveals will take place between 11: 30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (PDT). That would be 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (EDT).

    Sorry, but Tell Your Tale does seem to be cancelled (with the possible exception of the G5 comics). But you are correct to say that there is still potential there, just as there is still potential for terrific G4 stories; it just doesn't look like that potential is going to be realized.

    I'm still hoping that IDW might do something with the story outline that would have introduced Human Sunset, though it's seeming less and less likely.

    Jim Miller's assertion is compelling, though not definitive since Cozy's orphan status has never been confirmed in-universe. If Cozy Glow is, in fact, an orphan, and has no guardian(s), and still a minor child, then she is, de facto, a Ward of the State. To me that makes her original punishment of imprisonment in Tartarus highly irresponsible. (By the way, who tends to the prisoners in Tartarus? Have we ever seen any jailers other than Cerberus?) Also, Cozy's cell (cage, really) was right next to Tirek; who thought that that was a good idea?

    Well, episode #21 was released a day late and, unfortunately, the second special is still missing in action. It might show up yet, but there's a chance that the third and fourth specials were never completed.

    This is very much in-line with what we've been seeing for a while now, so it's probably true. I hope that the remaining episodes will resolve at least one of the Season 2 subplots. The second special should be completed; it would be a shame if it didn't air. And if IDW is continuing to publish G5 comics in 2025 then perhaps the comics can provide a proper ending to Tell Your Tale.

My Little Pony: Classics Reimagined―The Odyssey should arrive in comic shops on November 6, 2024 with a Penguin/Random House paperback edition scheduled to be released on March 18, 2025. The My Little Pony: Best of Discord one-shot has a release date of October 30, 2024. The My Little Pony: Best of Princess Celestia one-shot has a release date of December 04, 2024. There has been a report indicating that more G4 (and G5) comics are being worked on; however, it's not too unusual for titles to be cancelled before the freelancers working on them have been informed. We should know more in the next couple of months or so. Bixie Mathieu seems to be the current editor of IDW's MLP comics.
