If an official RPG game of My Little Pony G4 ever got developed into a game for current gen consoles, I wonder if the villains would be made into raid bosses.

Tired, but a good day nonetheless, had fun playing Borderlands 2 with a friend while talking to him on Discord earlier. We had fun messing about with shotguns in that game that had that funny talking AI Core thing in them. It's not the most powerful shotgun that exists in the game but it's good to set ourselves some challenges here and there. Doing Fink's Slaughterhouse for one thing with it in a weapon slot was rewarding.

Who knows, but G5 wasn't very good from what I could tell, at least in the comic version, Equestria nearly lost their magic because of that fiasco with Twilight Sparkle sealing the magic in them crystals and Discord almost choosing to destroy magic in that realm permanently. And while magic has been used for evil by villains such as Tirek, Cozy Glow and Queen Chrysalis, it has also been used for good by Twilight herself and also Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. It's a tool, like technology, must be used wisely and not abused for the sake of vanity projects or self righteous vengeful behavior. Making the world a better place isn't all about being the most powerful. I don't blame the fiction or the characters, I blame writers for that. They seem to had forgotten what made Friendship is Magic good in the first place. Magic on its own wasn't the reason, it was the fact it was not front and center in relationships, magic mattered, but without friendship or compassion, magic was worthless and would have turned Equestria dystopian.

Good thing I purchased physical copies of some of the stuff I like watching, the compression is really bad on Amazon video, now that I have the audio setup to reveal it, audio can be distorted in some parts. Yup, physical media is not going anyway anytime soon. I made the correct choice in buying DVD versions of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic.

Welcome to year 2026, where PC games still struggle with ray tracing. I have found other reasons to be optimistic, but this ain't one of them. Borderlands 4 relying on DLSS to get a "playable experience" is low key if you ask me.

Glad a friend got a microphone working for his PC, not to be rude about this but he has a dodgy motherboard that doesn't even recognize his microphone device even after I went through the process of helping him set it up step by step, thankfully that thing came with a USB adapter to make it work on Discord. Just a heads up about this in case anyone else would have this problem with their computers, yes, this is one reason why onboard audio sucks on budget motherboards. But you get what you pay for.

Just taken my medication, after ending a call with a friend on Discord who also wanted to go to bed tonight, I am winding down after a fun gaming session of Borderlands 2 on PC with him. My gamertag on it is also DawnshineWonder. If I cannot be a fun loving pony in Ponyville, I can at least do what I can to make life fun IRL.

Anyone else tried Vulkan drivers in Linux? it is very good for gaming.

If I ever hallucinated and saw MLP characters as if they were real, I'd be suspecting my drink got spiked, or something like that.

DLSS is not as great as people say it is either, yes, it makes predictions about what an image should look like, but sometimes this fails, and when it does, it can make the graphics look horrible. I've seen it in videos enough to see it in action even if I do not have the hardware capable of running games like that yet myself. And in all honesty, this wouldn't be an issue in the first place if game developers had put more effort into optimizing their games. AI is a poor substitute for lazy optimization in my opinion.

Relaxing for tonight, got to get my hours normal so I can be up later this month for a Doctor appointment. A friend has just signed off Discord for the night, I believe he said his back was hurting so I thought it was appropriate to leave him alone for the night. He may be on tomorrow, or not, depends. Either way, I hope it's not anything long term like arthritis, that would suck as it is painful for people.

For the same reason pen drives are not actually pens, it's just a layman's term for hardware.

Disappointing my My Little Pony Best Gift Ever DVD never turned up, however, I can order another one some other time. It's not a big problem. I guess I'll just watch it on Youtube at a time of my choosing. It's such a rare DVD though, one from G4 I don't have excluding spinoffs.

Played a bit of Borderlands 2 with a friend this evening, very enjoyable, actually he is also fun to talk to and when he is not at the pub he usually has time to play with me, got some rare loot but still a lot of work to do which is fine. He has Infinity Pistols all elements on level 58-60ish, and I have a level 63 e tech slag SMG plus Moxi gun for my Gunzerker. I will be doing my Zer0 character next.

Genuinely impressed with the performance I'm seeing with RTX 5060 on youtube, the GPU maxes out Borderlands 2 and 3 no problem at 1440p. Borderlands 4 it's an issue, but this has historically been the issue with mid tier hardware vs latest games. As soon as newer hardware gets released, there's already a newer game that challenges its supremacy. But it's the least offensive thing that has ever come out of the tech world, so it's tolerable.

Same here with my family at home, the tree + decorations would normally go up at some time around 2 weeks before Christmas and remain there until New Year has passed.

I have not, I am sorry to say. Catchy tune it is though, sounds like Synthwave.
