I agree, and nah you don't need to apologize, you did nothing wrong. I made it clear before what my wishes were, and being called a pegasus brought a smile to my face, I don't know about everyone else, which is why I try to be careful about it. Sometimes here, on this forum, I use phrases like "everypony" but only for lighthearted fun. Unless somebody explicitly declares they wish to be called what their OC is, I don't take it further than that. If they did not mind being called what their OCs are, then the conversation turns out like this.

I don't wish to assume anything about you, however I take no offence about being called a pegasus, it's a transformation I'd happily embrace if given the option as a symbol of my love for Equestria, none of us can go there except for the realms of Hasbro's fiction, dream worlds. I wonder what accents we'd have if we lived there, I imagined myself with an old wild west accent, like Applejack's, it seems more likely to be the case than the British one I do now. I couldn't care less, the thought of speaking like her would not bother me at all, though it might some people. As long as we have a good heart and are polite, our native language or accent does not matter.

Thank you, I like it when other people share theirs, it helps to make more sense out of why we would want to be a pony character in Equestria. Just saying we wish to be a pegasus, unicorn, earth pony or alicorn doesn't do it for me, it's vague, and without a reason why, it can make it seem like people are joking rather than serious, it is fine to have humour, but there is a difference. However when people share their fantasies or their fan fictions of the MLP world they wish to exist in, we get a clearer picture of what their intentions are. Big bang? well, there's that, I doubt the metaphysical aspect of Equestria would change the fact that their universe still expands and perhaps had an origin. Even in fiction, space and time is still a fundamental aspect of the physical world the characters live in, you may even say, as far as fantasy goes, metaphysical could be considered a 5th fundamental force, magic does not exist IRL, but had it been real, messing with magic could make or break reality.

Why I like making friends here, it is because they don't belittle me for being sensitive, nor judge me too harshly for flaws. I share a common interest, and I can be more open about being an MLP fan. They try to lift my mood as I would try for them. In short, it is okay to be vulnerable, it is okay to care, both for other people and ourselves.

Oh yes and in Applejack's case, Earth ponies sometimes appear to have the gift of super strength, in Applejack's case it makes sense because she works on a farm, I think Maud Pie also displayed feats of brute force and durability when she saved Pinkie Pie from a rockslide. I don't know where to begin with that one, I suppose I could tell you about the part of the fanfic where my OC was in Everfree Forest. On an Afternoon in Everfree Forest, a trio of Pegasi Ponies were out to get some exercise, and to appreciate the beauty of nature and the various friends of the forest that inhabited the lush surroundings, it is here, Fluttershy raises awareness about the hazards that exist within the forest also. She lets out "Um, you may want to be careful around here, there is a creature known as a cockatrice, one look can turn you to stone." Rainbow Dash confirms with a smirk "I would listen to her if I were you, she knows a lot about animals, we don't want you becoming a statue!" Dawnshine Wonder some moments later, as the trio of Pegasi move deeper into the forest, becomes a little too adventurous, she spots a creature off into a distance, it's a cockatrice, excited and with naive curiosity, she exclaims "That is so cute, I want to pet it" as she walks toward the creature, failing to had listen to her friends advice. Rainbow Dash witnessing a disaster waiting to happen, exclaims in a panic "No Dawnshine, don't!" Fluttershy responds "I'll get her" with a serious tone and then gallops toward Dawnshine Wonder Fluttershy with stealth like a ninja sneaks up on Dawnshine Wonder, then intercepts her by popping up in front of her, stopping her in her tracks And then begins using the stare on her, looking into Dawnshine Wonder's eyes firm and steady. Dawnshine Wonder caught by surprise, is shocked by the jump scare Fluttershy successfully pulled on her, then with her heart racing, clearly startled, realizes the gravity of the situation and how serious her friends were about their warning, lets out "Okay, I get the point!" before walking away from both the cockatrice and Fluttershy with her head down, with rose red cheeks as she blushed from embarrassment. Rainbow Dash witnessing this, can no longer contain her laughter, and she falls to the ground, rolling while laughing after seeing Dawnshine Wonder get startled by Fluttershy's stare. As Dawnshine Wonder sees this, still flushed with embarrassment from the jump scare she received, she lets out "I've never seen Fluttershy so serious before, this is so embarrassing!" Rainbow Dash after pulling herself back to an upright position, still giggling, smirks and lets out "You deserved it! We told you not to go near that cockatrice, but you went near one anyway, pay attention next time, you were lucky we were around to save you." Fluttershy overhearing this responds with concern, softly lets out with thoughtfulness "I did not mean any harm, I just wanted to make sure you were safe." I doubt I was the only fan who fantasized about doing this, getting the stare from Fluttershy. But this would be a cool way to bond friendship with them.

No problem, actually if you were in the fictional world Equestria as your imagined alicorn self, I could easily imagine you forming your own version of Mane Six, Three or however many friends you had in your group in such a fantasy world scenario. It's inconceivable that Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Applejack would be the only team protecting Equestria, far from it, through friendship they gained the respect of a large group of individuals who backed them up when the odds were stacked against them, in season 9. You'd probably be in the resistance as well, because when individuals love their community that much, they do everything they can to protect it. And from what I've seen of the show, despite their flaws and mistakes made, Equestria would be worth defending, I'd never want to ruin a world like that, I could never forgive myself if I did which is why I'd be afraid of misusing power and why I would not want to be an alicorn in that fictional kingdom myself, I don't like violence, and that is the reason why in my fanfic I imagined myself as being reborn and raised there, with them being in control of the nurturing, I don't crave control, fame or a stupidly expensive lifestyle, like you, I wish for peace.

I don't believe you would choose it for op status or ego either, I think the reasons for why people would want to be an alicorn are complicated and diverse Still if you were in that fictional universe, you may need the power to protect Equestria, and sometimes a team needs heavy hitters to push out invaders when compromise is off the table. I think it's wrong to shame people for athletic status, in the same way I think it would be wrong for individuals to attack Rainbow Dash out of jealousy for that. Some individuals have the drive and the determination to push their limits. Rainbow Dash is an integral member of the Mane Six and some of the things they did to protect Equestria would not have been possible without her.

I suppose Princess Celestia is the equivalent of Ra in Equestria, except, nopony built pyramids for her.

Would be nice if the real world was like Equestria. I yearn for a peaceful life, the same as many other people do. Friendship, happiness and rainbows are why I got into My Little Pony Friendship is Magic in the first place. Not everything is as it should be, so all I have to comfort apart from friends are my dreams.

The world could learn a lot from shows like MLP FIM. There are other animated TV shows that do this as well, but characters like Fluttershy show that heroism does not always come from flashy feats of combat.

Paradise, a world where we're not shamed for being sensitive. I had a dream last night but I cannot remember what it was about, however if I had dreamed about being in the fictional world of MLP FIM I couldn't be happier.

Good thing people here recognize I am not here to appease an echo chamber or think in a certain way just because some people tell me to.

Though fire breathing dragons don't exist in real life, if we think about it, fairy tales that depicted them and other folklore life forms were an early attempt at imagining worlds with alien life.

Why do people let emotion bias their decision making process? if the priority isn't to solve a problem, it has no place in it.
