Pinkie Pie is so cute, how excited she gets about the Grand Galloping Gala in My Little Pony FIM shows how playful she is. That innocence reminds me why I wish to be a Pony in Equestria fantasy realm. I can never go there obviously, however having that innocence myself like in my fan fiction about rebirth in Equestria, would enrich the experience of being there more and make true friendships last, I would not want to be corrupted by greed, narcissism or lust, because otherwise that would be a gift to villains there who seek to destroy peace.

Nice, the tablet I've taken is working, getting anxiety down, good because I don't want to end up on statins from heart disease as well if it can be helped. I've wasted half a day trying to get the apps on my computer to take a screenshot, I actually wanted a different one taken, but I settled on using an old one instead. Something is interfering with my apps so for the time being I am unable to take sceenshots on my Pi 5 with Linux.

I don't know what to think of the hygiene hypothesis which is why I am unsure of its validity, which is why I am not going to promote it outright, however I will start with a disclaimer and say, always clean yourself and your living spaces where possible. While we may need some germs to make our immune system recognize pathogens, that is kind of the point of adaptation, that does not make it okay to not be clean or use sensible hygiene such as bathing or showering with the use of soap, and making sure to wear clean clothes every day. But some experts I've been hearing about believe being too isolated from microbes can do harm as well. That would hold true in cases of the microbiome in our gut I'd imagine, we actually need certain kinds of bacteria, but again, caution is still necessary, be they use of hand sanitizers, or cleaning fabrics and surfaces we come in close contact with on an everyday basis.

Feeling relieved I nearly finished the ponyfication of my Raspberry Pi 5 desktop area. I still got to get some ornaments to finish it but as for the desktop itself, this is what I've done with it, I used a screenshot I had taken from My Little Pony the movie DVD, which goes well with the pastel green skin in Jriver. I hope you all had a pleasant day. -

Relaxing while having a cup of tea. Cleaning, over 10 minutes ago my mirror, the desk area which holds the My Little Pony ornaments was dusty earlier, I used a kitchen towel with hand sanitizer to clean it, since dust is made up of some particles which are gross, and the less germs, the better. -
I managed to get a screenshot from my DVD I bought, My Little Pony the Movie using VLC Player to use as my desktop background after some hassle trying to get the screenshot with other software programs, Power DVD which is available by app store and Windows 11 is a bad combination for this, as the copy protection prevents you from taking one with the print screen key, even for personal use! Makes me wonder why I even bother purchasing legal copies sometimes, when even when we obey the law we still get penalized for the actions of another group, it's almost like the assumption of guilty until proven innocent. But enough about that, I''m not here to cause you all stress as well. The purpose of the screenshot is to use as a desktop background for my Raspberry Pi 5. Since there is no way to purchase any licensed desktop wallpapers from Hasbro, this is about our only option, unless of course you don't mind getting the images illegally. I did not want to blame Hasbro for the unfair policies of other companies, so I do choose to support them where I can, they treat their fans well, we owe them the same respect back. I made the right move by moving over to Linux it seems, open source and I have more freedom to customize my desktop themes. Now I can ponyfiy my computer desk with less restrictions in how I go about it.

I cannot say I'm an avid reader of fimfiction, and I did not publish anything on there so far and probably never will. There are some fan fictions I have been made aware of that made Mane Six behave in a way that is totally inconsistent with the way they are in the official show though. I don't even do this in my fan fiction, one person has told me they like how I depicted Rarity in my fan fiction for that reason. If people are going to write a grimdark story, why not do it for the villains like Tirek or Queen Chrysalis? Chrysalis is typically shown sadistic enough to be in a creepypasta story, I have talked with Snoopy Fan about how disturbing Chrysalis is, the way she smirks and gets her kicks out of causing misery for others, almost as if she constantly fantasizes about ways to torture them. Her potential in the show was not explored but it appears they did a better job depicting that sadism in the comics. It seems writers of the official show wanted their cake and eat it too, people involved in making the TV show would claim they don't want the story to be too violent for children, but then ended up killing off Mean Six anyway, what difference would it have made if Queen Chrysalis executed them with a magical blast? at least that way, it would have shown her to be more like a tyrant, and not some comic relief character. I've not seen all of season 8, only some episodes from it, but it does seem like there was a drastic downgrade in quality compared to the earlier seasons of the show, since villains then were not even as dark as Disney villains, at least Scar in Lion King was capable of pulling off a successful murder.

I really like the look of your Kermit the Frog plushie, I didn't know you liked The Muppet show until I saw that in your collection.
It's good to have different interests, I have a variety of interests too, I'm a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog series, played and completed both Sonic Adventure and 2 story modes. I also like certain types of anime, shonen mostly. I've got the complete series of Fist of the North Star on DVD which I will be watching soon. I know some fictions I like are darker than My Little Pony, that does not negate my love for MLP though, I have said I wished I were in the fictional world Equestria even as a Pony because of how beautiful their world and community is. I just have a love for adventure stories, so I suppose in that sense, I relate to Rainbow Dash in some way.

I managed to get these speakers for the Pi 5 setup. It's not expensive, and it won't shake the walls or anything like that but it will look great with the setup. The colours on the LEDs are customizable as well, their colours can be changed on an RGB spectrum. Can be switched off as well, good because I don't want these things shining while I am trying to sleep. When ponyfying my computer desk, rainbow themed LEDs would work wonders. Everyone's got their preferences for fan fiction, if it entertains you, who cares? people forget that entertainment is supposed to be fun, and it is not meant to fit into elitist assumptions of who did better. Sometimes in my opinion, though some will disagree with me on this one, what is original sucks anyway, I mean there is a reason why My Little Pony official show Friendship is Magic did better than G1. Earlier iterations of the brand was merely a toy advertisement, and still is in some sense. But from what I've seen G4 actually managed to capture the interest of more fans this time around, with better designed characters and world building.

I suppose I should look for some faux leather items to make a hat for the Applejack figurine I got, which sadly does not come with her hat. My only disappointment about the Mane Six figurine set I bought to an otherwise accurate in detail figurine set. I cannot exactly make it out of hard PVC, I don't have the equipment for that. But I could see about making a cowgirl hat for the Applejack figurine out of faux leather. Oh well, gives me something to do I guess, another in the list of projects as a hobby, I can look up pictures of Applejack from the animated show online to try to get the details right.

I feel bad for Changelings in the show, I mean it is not all their fault their Queen is cruel, it's like a friend told me once, just because their Queen is horrible to others does not mean Changelings should be excluded from the chance at peace. When it is a matter of survival well, sorry they are doing what any other animal in their unfortunate situation does. Thorax proved that there is a non violent way to get their energy though, and that is where Chrysalis selfishness was shown, Starlight Glimmer did offer Chrysalis peace, and Chrysalis rejected the offer, and continued to seek revenge, that is when the balance of justice showed her to be truly evil in my opinion, before that there was some level of sympathy that could be had for her when she wanted to feed her hive, but in the end she ended up getting just punishment.

I feel so relaxed now that I got the Mane Six figurines on my shelf next to the Queen Chrysalis one. The setup is coming together nicely, I am missing the Princess Cadance, Princess Luna and Princess Celestia figure set but those are expensive and I am going to wait until my birthday to get those. Yeah I think I made the right decision by scrapping the Halloween figurine set idea, since Ponyfying my Raspberry Pi 5 computer desk is a lot more rewarding for me. I cannot wait until I apply the rainbow LEDs, it is going to be sweet! -

As I read this I am reminded that I've been doing the same, rearranging boxes in my room to get my shelves ready for the decoration I was telling everybody about. I cannot finish getting the ornaments for a while yet, I don't have the cash to spend, but it is a work in progress. LEDs for the shelves are no problem however, I can buy a set of two rolls for about £20, I already got the USB extension cable I need. Top shelf where the ornaments are, I've decided rainbow coloured, bottom desk area, white LEDs. -
I found it hilarious that Tirek tried to steal Chrysalis' magic without her consent at first in MLP FIM what a fool, he burned his one chance to earn her trust, not like it mattered in the end because they both got turned to stone, but even looking at his action by itself, he pretty much guaranteed that Chrysalis would turn against him if she got her way with the Ponies. Somebody should have told him that Chrysalis mojo is not for sale, as she does not like it when others try to take what is hers.

I have said I would be scared of her if I were in that fictional world from MLP G4. I know we are taught since childhood to stand up to bullies but even then, I don't know if I'd have the courage to do that. Queen Chrysalis is just so terrifying and powerful at the same time, it would take something significant to motivate me to fight her, like children being in danger. It's not just her power that I'd worry about, she knows how to hit others where it hurts, she would exploit any weakness possible, including phobias, and darn it I have those.
