  1. Princess of the Night, a fitting name for a guardian of dreams. I do wish Princess Luna were real, ever since her reform in My Little Pony FIM season 1 she has been a positive influence ever since in MLP fiction and I loved it when she comforted CMC in their time of need of guidance.

  2. I don't want to watch negative news stories anymore, I don't want to be crying myself to sleep tonight.
  3. Wishing good dreams on all. Given the chaos that is going on in the real world right now, escapism and pleasant thoughts would be nice right now.
  4. Not surprising, there was a chance of this happening ever since nations began stockpiling on those dangerous things, really nukes have been banned, but as long as tyrants exist, that's not an option. We're stuck on this rockpile with no option to go somewhere else. Daydreaming is not going to get us to any other world, fantasies are not magic.
  5. Solaris is the most powerful Sonic the Hedgehog villain, he does not just kill, he erases individuals from a timeline, or would have done if he won. If you're looking for a Sonic villain character who nearly succeeded in screwing everybody else over in that world, this is one I remember.
  6. Code Lyoko OST - Subdigitals - Break Away INSTRUMENTAL (Ending Theme)
  7. Hearing cats meow at each other and fighting is very unnerving.
  8. Goodness, imagine if The Mask was in a crossover with any other cartoon show, and he gave Dr Eggman a wedgie in Sonic the Hedgehog universe. Eggman would be very upset. Dr Eggman's wedgie would be particularly hilarious because The Mask could come up with a funny name for it, first commenting "I know something which might keep you warm from head to toe, wait for it! Egg Wedgie Surprise!" *laughs mischievously then spins away*
  9. Of course, my username is the same name as the character in my fan fiction. I don't care what anyone says, life for me in a fictional world like Equestria MLP G4/FIM would not be terrible, and I would not want to make it miserable for anyone else there, pony or not. I'd desire a different upbringing to ensure what I did was acceptable or did not create conflict with them. So I fantasize about being reincarnated there after passing on as a human and becoming a Pegasi, I don't know if that's a common fantasy, but I'm not the only person who does this. If in a fantasy world situation I got my wish and there were challenges that were not anticipated beforehoof, I'd deal with that then. Why complain? even being there in the first place would be a privilege and something to be grateful for IMO. Accent? I'd imagine my language and accent being like Applejack's, American deep south. I fantasized about finding her in Everfree Forest in the morning, after getting lost there as an adolescent Pony at night with the risk of Timberwolves eating me, after a long and tiring trip through the badlands, as a homeless orphan, who took the risk of trainsurfing to frantically try to find civilization in the seething desert landscape as the sun was setting. Look, I know a fate like that sounds cruel, the homeless orphan part in Equestria, but I have not always been a good person in human life, and some trial and tribulation would be a good test of loyalty for me I think. This wish will never come true, however in a fantasy world situation where it did, I'd be grateful for being there, even if this were to happen to me. To solve this problem, I could make friends, learn how to stand up for myself and be independent, I'd want my loyalty to Equestria and their culture to be tested so I could prove I could be one of them, and contribute to making their place good.
  10. While the myriad of health problems are not an inherent limitation to all of us, therefore I would not call that an inherent human limitation, things like not being able to hear ultrasound, is, because no human can hear that, does not matter what our disability or lack thereof is, above 20khz is outside our range of hearing. I hope nobody considers that derogatory because my point is some limits apply to all of us, and some don't.
  11. Eddy Grant - Electric Avenue
  12. Honestly I'd be envious of anyone who had that kind of dream. I'd be happy for them, however I would wish I had good dreams about Princess Luna, even a fictional character can be dreamed about. I had nightmares about zombies before, perhaps she could banish the zombies, or do something funny like scare them away by using her Royal Canterlot Voice.
  13. Thank you for liking my post bestie

What a wonderful dream this would be, even with Luna being a fictional character, dreams are still possible. I'd still like to talk about something interesting with her in a dream if I ever have one about her, like talk about how Halloween is similar to Nightmare Night. Anyone who has ever had a good dream about her in my opinion is lucky.

Well i had one with her sister but... i can't remember too many details, was still a good expeirience.  :orly: However i do indeed agree with you, meeting princess luna ( Even in a dream ) would be magical. :pinkie:

Depending on the contents of a good dream about Princess Luna if I were to have one I may even cry, because it would make me happy. :kindness: yeah I do wish a good dream like that for any MLP fan.

  14. Even fictional characters can be dreamed about, and having a dream about Princess Luna for me, would be cool. I'd wake up laughing about it probably, but she would not scare me, perhaps flying over a city with her using telekinesis would be fun.

  15. Fluttershy is cute, I did not like it when she got bullied for her inability to fly though, other Ponies can be cruel sometimes in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. I appreciate Rainbow Dash for helping to build up her confidence in the episode Hurricane Fluttershy.

  16. Princess Luna is a good example of not fearing the dark, embracing it. and although her dreamwalking powers allow her to know secrets of others, from what I have seen of her behaviour in MLP FIM, she keeps secrets safe and not give out information others did not have any business in knowing. That's one reason why I would trust her if I was in that fictional world, mind reading may be disturbing for some people but as long as she carries out her duties in secrecy and does not seek to harm, I don't see that as inherently malicious. But then Equestria's culture is different from our own, and it is not like anyone else could have done a better job, and dealing with others nightmares must be scary, even for her, which is why I believed she snapped at her sister in A Royal Problem episode, assuming that is an easy job for her is going to offend her greatly.
  17. In a fantasy world scenario where that could come true, I would not be in a hurry to die just for that either, because I have friends here like you do. Throwing my life away just because of that, even in a fantasy world scenario where it would happen would be stupid. If terminal illness were the issue it would be a different matter altogether. Getting that wish in the future would be nice, I'd like to become a Pegasi and fly in Equestria and meet new friends there, but it will never happen, and in that imaginary scenario where it did, I'd want it to come after old age or something like that. I wrote a fan fiction about that some time ago. Even the idea of reincarnation in fiction would be scary if it did happen, because mortal pain would be felt from one life to the next, doesn't matter which world you go to. In Buddhist traditions this is believed to occur on Earth repeatedly until a person reaches Nirvana, then they escape Samsara, but again, that is only mythology.
  18. Perhaps in my childhood, not anymore. I don't see how it helps, daydreaming is something different, since you don't necessarily believe the images you're conjuring up. I daydream sometimes though, including about being in Equestria as a Pegasi. Some people may think that is sad or think I'm weak for doing that, but the real world sucks so I don't really care.
  19. I would not be saying all this if My Little Pony Friendship is Magic had better written villains, but as mentioned before in the later seasons they were a joke. A hungry wild bear could have done a better job in the episode Mean Six than Queen Chrysalis did in actually posing a danger to Mane Six, since her minions were nothing more than disobedient pranksters who got themselves killed.

  20. I wished I knew, Rarity is a fashion expert, but I would not have expected that of Fluttershy since she is more of a nature and wildlife expert. I'm impressed with Fluttershy's knowledge though, she may not talk much but when she does open her mouth, she talks a lot of sense. There are times she does not, but it's not constant.
  21. I don't like Slice of Life, because for me it takes away from the adventure aspect of shows or movies. It's not a form of escapism for me at all, in fact for me and some other people it's the opposite. The fantasy world elements including magic and mythological creatures get used less because people are caught up in their silly arguments we don't care about. I only tolerated MLP episode Sisterhooves Social because Rarity actually learned something from it and that relationships are give and take and about compromise, I would not have said it was a good episode if no lessons had been learned, which adds to their character growth and thus contributes to the adventure style story telling a lot of other things you find in Slice of Life don't.

  22. I like comedy shows, Beavis and Butthead is one I watch from time to time however I can understand why Snoopy Fan would find that one annoying, that's a fair point to make, there are some scenes which could be considered cringeworthy, however comedy is not to be taken seriously, no actual story happens, it's just a cartoon about two jerks who run around all day annoying other people with their antics. I cannot for the life of me understand why Slice of Life is liked though, I hate it for the same reasons I hate Soap Operas. They remind me of things I hate about the real world, including toxic relationships and petty arguments. I cannot be invested in something like that when that is all that ever happens. What I like to see are things like redemption arcs, which often happen in adventure stories, it's not always satisfying to watch, but when they are, you end up liking the characters for who they became, not who they were, and it is why Princess Luna is one of my favourite characters from My Little Pony FIM.
  23. They should have just gone with adventure and action story telling, IMO that would have solved it in the long run, and given Hasbro more freedom to write in more threatening villains without it being a negative to anything else. Look at Transformers, this is where both adventure and relationships of characters are shown, even in the 1986 animated film this was done well. They get the balance just right between drama and non drama scenes, and just because other characters have their own problems, they don't ignore the danger of what they are up against, Unicron and the Decepticons. In a similar way, Queen Chrysalis in MLP FIM should have been viewed as an active threat for as long as she free to do whatever she wants and was not petrified or otherwise imprisoned or destroyed. But episodes like Mean Six had the Mane Six not even acknowledge her existence and that continued right up until Mean Six died, so it did not really feel like the fate of Equestria was at stake at all, far from it.
