I was in 11th grade at that time. My school is a private school so each year the juniors would go to a retreat up in the mountains. It was a fun experience. One of the best memory I have at youth. I didn’t get to experience a simple sleep over or hanging out with friends outside of school growing up. Just being away from home for a week, hanging out with the guys during our free time, hiking at night together…tasting that pure freedom of doing whatever we want…those were good times.
There was a time we were hiking and saw one cabin. It was snowing so it was like from a horror film. I suggested the guys we should throw a snowball at the door. (My first thrill of fun of rebellion after such a long time) So the owner would think someone was knocking at their door . The guys weren’t sure about it, so I went ahead, grab the snowball and threw at the door. Unfortunately the cabin was empty, but it was exciting moment.
