    *Iridescent was still at the vines. He was still wobbling his horn around, chopping vines and freeing ponies. Until his horn eventually shrank down to its normal size. Iridescent took another one of those berries and ate it. He felt bile rising in his throat. He tried to hold it back to no avail as a strange liquid spewed from his mouth. All the vines in his proximity then withered away and died.*

    Well, it all started in the last few weeks of my junior year. In English class, we were working on a sort of practice personal narrative. Those darn things bring me so much existential anxiety. Anyway, one of the prompts was "describe a community that you are a part of," or something like that. So I thought "MLP/Brony, obviously." But then I realized I'd never actually met another MLP fan/Brony before. At the time, I was mostly just interacting with fan content, rather than actual fans. So, I typed "mlp forums" into Google. And, here I am now. I don't remember what became of that practice narrative. How did YOU know about MLP Forums?

    *Iri sniffs one of the berries and cautiously plops one in his mouth.* "I don't feel any-Whuh!" *Iridescent nearly toppled over as he felt a sudden weight grow on his forehead. He looked up to find that his horn had grown at least another three feet. Judging by the cut vines where his horn had stumbled, it looked like it was also sharper. Iridescent grunted as he lifted his head, his now elongated horn wobbling above him.* "Well, this is inconvenient."

    *Once Iridescent had warmed up, he followed the cupcake trail and continued the race. When he encountered the vines, he came to a screeching halt. Not knowing how to proceed, he looked around at his surroundings. That's when he noticed the saddlebag of Changeling Berries. He picked one up in his magic, examining it.* "What exactly do these do?"

    "Th-Thanks..." *Iridescent takes the mug of hot chocolate in his levitation aura and takes several sips. He feels a wave of heat flowing through his body at the expense of some of his taste buds.* "Uhhhhhh..." Iridescent stares at Samurai (@Samurai Equine) blankly. His gaze momentarily moves to the ground--still staring at it blankly--before looking back up at him.* "...I'm good, thanks."

    *The cold air starts to catch up to Iridescent. He ceases his tree-bucking as he feels tremble uncontrollably. He stands there in the cold for a moment before he sees a warm glow in the distance. He pushes himself through the cold, his pants coming out as a thin mist, as he trots in the direction of the light. Upon finally reaching the source, Iridescent Edge is met with the other contestants huddling around the unicorn's heat spells. Iridescent tetatively walks into the circle.* "H-H-Hi..."

    “Thanks, Shiny ( @Shiny Silvermoon).” *Iridescent drank the potion, gagging slightly at the bitter taste. But after a few seconds, he could feel the potion’s effects settling in. He sprinted off to the proper path of the race. It did take a while, and Iridescent was still behind the other racers, but he eventually did make it back to the track. He resumed his strategy of bucking trees as he felt the cool air wash over him, sending a shiver down his spine.*

    "Now I will call your names, and our judges will determine if you have passed the exam. However! I must warn you, there are many ways to fail. If you fly too far west, you will fail. If you drop below the cloud layer, you will fail. If you perform the exam in reverse, you will fail! What if we opt out of taking the test? The exam is offered again in the fall, and upon that exam, you will fail! What if we finish too fast? Then you will fail! And what if we pass? Then you exit the educational system... and that is a world an educator is frowned upon to understand. I know not what will happen. So, we don't have to go to school anymore?! I assume yes! Though I dare not contemplate the consequences..."
