  1. I haven't trick-or-treated in some time; I probably did so last when I was about eight. I'm not that big a candy lover, so I guess that's no big surprise.
  2. It's not too tedious a wait to me. There is a plentiful amount of other forms of entertainment (and life in general) to keep me occupied in the meantime.
  3. Not sure how much this counts, since it isn't an actual show, but this is from a TV special using Muppets (who of course, have had various TV shows) so might as well post it anyway. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRSptCfn5WY It's near impossible for me not to feel sad watching this. Jim Henson was amazing and left such a great legacy.
  4. The style FiM has right now is quality and works well with the show. Considering that, there isn't any need to change the animation type to traditional. In a way, the fact Flash is used for FiM is impressive in itself because it proves that, in spite of many shows using the program shoddily, that Flash can be used for quality when a team puts in the effort.
  5. I can't see any justifiable reason to not wear a helmet. Even if you're a skilled cyclist, you always want to be prepared for an accident. It's like wearing a seat belt in that while there may be no feeling of a difference most of the time, you'll certainly be thankful you wore it in case of an accident that would have badly injured or even killed you otherwise. Someone acting as if they're cool and rebellious isn't worth it in the long run.
  6. Kind of a lurker. I visit the site daily and I do make posts, but that's mostly when a discussion catches my eye. As far as sections go, I would say Gen. Discussion is the one I lurk most, followed by the MLP-related sections.
  7. I wish you the best with your duties. I don't know much about Mormonism so the two-year missionary process is new to me, but restricting yourself from many of the pleasures in life we take for granted today certainly sounds like something requiring a lot of willpower and dedication. Your choice to partake in this is a decision I have a lot of respect for.
  8. Though they have more power than a typical pony, I wouldn't say they're goddesses. They still have their vulnerabilities in spite of their strength and status. I'd also imagine goddess ponies being more distant from the main land, whereas Celestia and Luna do have occasional contact with Twilight and others.
  9. Here you go. I did this via Paint.NET which is pretty much a free, simpler version of Photoshop. Could be a bit smoother but hopefully it's good enough. EDIT: Fixed to remove a spot of background between RD's legs.
  10. I voted for the world of Pokemon. There's so many life forms to see, and the fiercer species are of less risk than their real life counterparts. (or in the case of Bug Pokemon, much more likable) Plus, you're able to teleport if you have certain Pokemon on hand, which is a feat that's rather high on my "traits I wish could be achievable in real life for the sake of convenience" list.
  11. I found out about it via a thread on a forum I used to go to that had a thread referring to one satire article that jokingly claimed FiM was racist and homophobic. I think since I first saw pictures of the show I always kinda wanted to get into it, but I was hesitant to do so/acting like "well this is weird but I'll ignore it" because of the treatment of the notion that anyone would dare like the show on that forum was... unkind, to say the least.
  12. My story's nothin' extraordinary. I just wanted to join a MLP site, so I looked for one via Yahoo back in June and here I am. A year's quite a worthy milestone to be sure. More often than not, lasting a year is a sign that there's a strength within the community, which is certainly the case here.
  13. Plenty of things. Nature in general is soothing, especially the pet cats and guinea pigs in the house. Pizza is also an essential guarantee to uplift my mood.
  14. I like Unova (Gen V) best. I'm really fond of a lot of the Pokes introduced in that gen, such as Krookodile, Minccino, Golurk, Galvantula, Braviary... the list goes on. All gens have a certain amount of Pokemon I'm very fond of, but none to the extent of Unova.
  15. I've got a lovely bunch of names. There they are all standing in a row. Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head. Give them a twist, a flick of the wrist That's what the showman said.
  16. Hello there my name is Drew Pickles and today I am going to MLP Forums hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha bag that was swell
  17. Lovely job on this, looking at this pic gives off a calming effect. Both the relaxing blue hues and the relaxed looks on Tich and Vaporeon's faces certainly contribute to that.
  18. Very cool design. I like how it turned out; it pulls off the complexity of robots and the shape plus stature of unicorns quite nicely.
  19. I think the show would still have gotten noticed eventually because it'd a quality show even if the animals were different. However, the pace of getting noticed would be much more sluggish as there wouldn't be the taboo aspect to the pre-existing franchise to provide a fast propelling into prominence. One thing for sure is that if the show was My Little Guinea Pig, I'd have been following it the instant it hit the airwaves.
  20. I like Luna; she has one of the loveliest designs in my view with the deep blue hues a major factor. Her personality is also charming with her decent intentions yet struggles adapting. Well-meaning goofs are something many, myself included, can relate to.
  21. HELLO THERE. I AM NOT A CROOK. BUT I AM ONE FANTASTIC LOVER. HERBOLOLOOOOO.
