Interesting. I've never even thought of earth ponies being part of the royal guard. The backstory is quite original, and touches upon things I haven't seen touched upon. I also enjoy his quotes. He seems to have a well-developed personality. The design also isn't too bad, and is easy on the eyes. Though I think his outfit makes him look more like a superhero than a Royal Guard. The yellow doesn't mesh well.

Very interesting design. I'd love to see her actually drawn instead of pony creatored. The concept is also original. I've never seen someone make a perpetually sick and cleanly pony. She'd probably make more sense as an earth pony or a unicorn though. So I deduct points from that since a lot of people seem to feel the need to make ponies pegasi just because it's a popular species. It IS interesting though that she doesn't know how to fly.

Goddamn ninjas.

 

Alicorn automatically gets some subtracted points from me. They usually aren't well-executed. Secondly, her appearance, from the description, is rather unsuitable for a pony in colours and doesn't sound like a good colour choice. (They usually have bright vivid coat colours rather than blacks and grays, contrary to what the fandom thinks.) Personality is short, and a bit generic, but it gets a pass. Backstory, however, is very generic. Also, this ability to freeze thing seems out of nowhere. It really has no explanation to it.

 

4/10. (I am kind of harsh and detailed in my ratings.)

Actually, I did that because I have too many earth ponies and unicorns, pegasi are my LEAST favorite.

Between the pony's design and the backstory, this was the highest I was gonna give Critical Hit. Also:

 

Most ponies consider him fairly unlikable because of his reclusive nature and the fact that he listens to Dragon and Gryphon bands, who make much more aggressive music than the usual pop and soft rock that ponies are into. (NOTE: Dragons tend to like Metal and Hard Rock, and Gryphons prefer Dubtrot and Electro.)

Cricket, Skullet Pony, NNL, and a bunch of other metal ponies are gonna give you shit for that as far as I'm concerned. XD
