Tirek's Size?

How tall was Tirek? I know his seize changes constantly, but still, at his biggest and smallest

Tirek at his smallest looked to be about the size of a pony, maybe a little taller so about Big Mac height.

 

At his biggest... I think he was about the size of two or three Ursa Minors, though he might've been getting near Ursa Major sized after he got all the Alicorn magic as well.

Yeah, I was coming back to edit my post because I had checked Google images and I had forgotten just how truly massive that motherbucker is, but you already quoted me so buck it here I am.

 

So yeah, probably about two or three Ursa Majors big at his biggest.

Yeah, considering the Ursa Minor is around 25 feet at the shoulder and the Ursa Major is about 10x as tall(at least), we're talking a 250 foot bear that can be 375 feet tall if it rears up

 

Even worse, male bears are bigger than females, I can imagine that being 400 feet on two legs, taller than Godzilla

Lordy Loo, if the Mane Six had to fight a Godzilla-sized magic-eating enemy, I'm pretty sure they would be outta luck.

 

In fact, I wonder how the Mane Six would actually do against an Ursa Major... unless they used Rainbow Power, they would have to find a really creative way to bring it down.

30ft tall prior to him taking all the alicorn magic, presuming Twilight is 4 ft tall.

 

 

It's harder to scope Tirek's final size since we don't have anything to scale him with. I'm guessing he grew 10x his previous height based on the footage. So 300 ft tall.

Tirek with alicorn magic absorbed has horrible consistency. Sometimes, he's towering over trees, other times, he seems to be the same size

You can see the Mane 6 shadows easily and if anything, Tirek shrank

Yeah I definitely wouldn't go by that photo, seeing as the mane 6 appear to be hoovering closer to the camera at an angle to Tirek. But suppose it isn't a camera trick. If you compare your photo with mine, the ponies size in relation to Tirek are the same in both. So if that were true, Tirek would be the same size post alicorn magic as he was pre.

Although 300 ft seem a bit too much. Ponies are rather small equines.

Many wikis and such describe Tirek's size at his largest as being comparable to a Hydra, so i'm going with that.

I really think he is meant to represent like, just a completely overwhelming overpowering enemy whose sheer physical presence conveys hopelessness. I think that goes with the general theme of that season and why the discovery of rainbow power was such a significant turning point. That being said , the scene where he is draining twilight sparkle of the combined alicorn magic in the everfree forest I think he's about 5x taller than she is, maybe let's just round him up to like 35-40ft max - but you. can clearly see that he grows significantly and substantially until from a distance he is so large he fills up the entire screen. I would say conservatively he is over 300-400 feet tall there, maybe as big as twice that,  and I think the vantage point we see him stomping around in the distance and still feel the quaking of the earth under him he might be as far away as 1/2 mile or more. I think he'd be visible even that deep in the forest from ,say, applejack's house who isn't she supposed to live on the perimeter? Basically he is supposed to be a nigh-omnipotent god at that size with near absolute power
