See, they go after people who like what they hate and... well... they're simply not trying to be subtle and like to speak openly. Quite annoying, actually but I gotta say, it's quite effective. Even those who hate the show can be annoyed by those guys. The whole lie and false truth is just classless. I'm more of a painful and incomplete truths kind of guy myself. Judgments don't make anyone right in this situation. Judging them is no different then them judging us. Just wanted to make that point. Anti-bronies are like any other "anti-fandom". I mean, if I had a nickle every time someone used the term "this is some stupid weeaboo sh*t" in any anime-themed video... They openly hate on things they don't like because there is no way to stop them. You could report them and maybe their account might get some form of a suspension, but they probably would just make a new account. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, sadly some people just don't really think about the words to convey such opinions. So they come across as jerks, and quite mean. I wouldn't say they are trolls for one reason alone; most people don't know what a "troll" is these days. Trolls are not the same as jerks, or mean people. As the internet phrase goes; "Don't feed the trolls" In other words, just ignore them. No matter how much we try to make them stop, they'll just keep doing it. This is part of it, but it also stems from the basic human reaction to hate what they do not understand or do not view as "normal." The people I work with know that I'm a brony, and their reactions are mixed from "You're a faggot" to "Oh, I've heard about bronies before." Point is, don't let it get to you. People will always hate the things that they do not understand, and there is nothing we can do about it. All we can do is attempt to tolerate them and show them that we aren't afraid of petty insults and crude remarks. And besides, if half of the haters actually WATCHED MLP, they'd probably be bronies, too. All fandoms have trolls that are "out to get them", but MLP seems to have the most, probably because of the stereotypical girliness of MLP. A fourth of them are closet bronies, and the other fourth are just jealous of the awesome fandom. Like I've said many times before this subject has been brought up, the best thing to do is ignore those who insult the fan base and move on. The best thing to do is ignore them, reactions only make them grow stronger and you can't really reason with them. This fandom is also different from other fandoms, and things that are different always get the most attention/ hate. They're just close minded, its best to leave them be. There are also people out there who are neutral towards the show, but just like trolling on the internet. Comment sections are like games, and they win when they start flame wars, so again, its best to ignore them, or troll them back if that's your thing . Unfortunately, it often works, and thus, a flame war is started. I don't know how many times we will need to say 'Don't feed the trolls' until it actually sticks, but in the meantime, we just need to accept that for every good thing, there's someone waiting to step on it.
