Based on my research I would have to say mostly certainly this is not an assumption. Because I did hear even earlier this year that S5 was already in the works and would release late 2014 or early 2015

It is definitely not too good to be true. Hasbro wants us to stick around and never forget about our beloved ponies, can't wait to see Season 5 coming this fall.

I don't doubt it - especially since S4 was supposed to air in 2014, but it premiered November 23rd, 2013 It's happened before, and it isn't outside of the realm of possibility to happen again

 

Of course, I'm rather excited for S5 myself - like most bronies, I'd presume. Season 4 was the best season thus far, in my opinion, and I can't wait to see how they follow up best season!  

Even if the episodes suck, I can still find joy in writing a review about why they suck Then again, though, I'm not excruciatingly picky - just don't screw up too bad on characterization. I'm pretty, if not very, lenient otherwise

Again, can't wait to see what S5 has in store

I doubt that it will pan out that way, since each season to date has had a subsequently longer hiatus between airings (8 months between season 3 and 4), plus on the official facebook they stated that Season 5 would be in 2015.
