I enjoy their sound.  The rawness of the dude's screams aren't the mightiest, but I think they fit.

Yeah, Illdisposed is nice to listen to. Have you heard some of their earlier albums? If you like that band, you might also like some of Panzerchrist's songs, except they're a bit more like blackened death metal. And Bo Summer was in both of these bands!

The hardest song that I can drum is "Trough the Ashes" by My dear Addiction.

And that one was hard as hell.

It's pretty obvious that at least his snare is triggered. If I want someone who can play without all that, I go for a guy like Dirk Verbeuren of Soilwork.

 

 

His playing just feels more organic to me, and has a lot more tastefulness.

Why is it that no matter where I go, I just see hate comments towards bands I like? That's starting to get on my last fucking nerves. Like honestly, I went on a BTBAM video yesterday and everyone was hating on someone just because they said they like A7X. Like, seriously? Who the fuck cares if he likes A7X?

WELL I HAD A HAPPY VALENTINES DAY. I found this band called Botch. A disbanded mathcore band that tears shit up. Ironically, one of their members in now in Minus the Bear. Go figure.

I like Undertow a lot. I have that on vinyl. Lateralus is pretty cool, I don't think it deserved that review Pitchfork gave it.

The drummer of Warbringer before he joined them is in this band. State of Insurgency is a mindblowing album. Shame that Being And Nothingness doesn't stack up (thrashy bits suck, melody is top notch though).

Short and fast, but this song still pretty fast. This and Brain Damage are the only good albums from these guys though, which is a shame, because the latest two don't stack up at all...

Definitely the single best band of this whole "djent" thing at the moment along with TesseracT (shut up Djenty). Really though, they distance themselves from the style a good deal by adding tons of emotion and atmosphere. It's like listening to The Contortionist in a spaceship.

JUST NOW? I thought I'd been telling you about them for the past few months. Their vocalist is also in Narrows, a bit more of a post-hardcore group, but the vocals sound straight out of 1999.
