A song I myself finds truly fitting for the end of Season 3's finale is none other than a Dream Theater song. Their themes and lyrics of change and adapting to it certainly fit perfectly into how the episode ended, but which song perhaps? Well, I say This is the Life.

This band Atlas Moth opened for Devy, and they were pretty disappointing. Doom/sludge-ish, but the progressions were just boring, even for doom.

I found these guy on accident a while back. I was trying to find a metal cover of Ride of the Valkyries out of boredom.

 

 

they're a Chinese industrial metal band with folk influences.

I know its late I was one of a few of my friends who knew he was in the accident on Halloween before he left us. But the interview with his wife was just published and put into revolver magazine in last months issue.

Well, while we're still on that topic. Has anyone seen this before? It's got a lot of views, but pretty much no one's ever spoken of it, which is kind of odd.

It depends really on what you like

I personally like Octavarium

But that song is a 24 minute one

So if you don't like longer songs

Then don't bother listening to it

Anything from Images and Words, Awake, Metropolis Pt.2. As for my recommendations, the majority of Six Degrees makes that album my favourite (Blind Faith, The Great Debate, etc.), but I feel Systematic Chaos holds a special place in my heart, considering it was my first DT album (I think).

Train of Thought is probably my favorite Dream Theater album I've heard so far, along with Octavarium.

Man, you gotta love Wintersun. You might want to check out their self-titled album if you liked Time I. That's another good album, but it's a lot less symphonic. But yeah, Time I is really good. I love the entry at 8:46 on Sons of Winter and Stars. Awesome chorus.

Man, when I first listened to Time that was the first thing that really caught my attention.  That's one hell of a chorus.

Listened to Immortal and Gorgoroth today. That'll be my metal dose, now I'm going to listen to a band called "Mass of the Fermenting Dreggs".

Ah, when did the Within The Ruins one come out? I was excited for it, but then sort of forgot about it.
