This may have already been posted, but I love this too much not to post. Clayman is the best album I have ever heard in my life-everything about this album is absolutely perfect. Colony and Clayman kind of go hand in hand, so my opinion is also valid for Colony.

Dream Theater is my all time most favorite metal band ever! It's probably mostly because half the time they don't even sound like metal. This song in my opinion is one of their best. If you have the time its really worth listening through. If your impatient skip to 26:09. That's the fifth movement of the song, and it's incredible in my opinion.

Besides that, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Six Degrees! My favourite DT album tied with Awake. Glass Prison, Blind Faith, Great Debate, CLASS songs and all above 10 minutes which I appreciate the most since those can vary from Heavy to Soft in a matter of moments. Also, Goodnight Kiss (the fifth moment I believe you were talking about) is just beautiful, especially with that ending solo Petrucci plays. With the background stuff in action (especially the crying woman and the dead heartbeat monitor) it almost wanna makes you shed a tear!

This is actually a serious problem. Like another friend of mine, half/most of the music we listen to know is replaced with Devy. It's amazing and horrifying at the same time. I'm frankly still surprised how you guys aren't annoyed at me yet for it.

This is probably the first time I have ever seen a vocalist change his style so drastically. On Kalmah's earlier material, the vocalist had used more of a piercing, black-metal scream. However, in 2006, he had changed his vocal style to a death growl. With most bands I've noticed, they do this in reverse (In Flames changed from a growl to a shriek-until 2011, that is.). Never before have I seen a vocalist switch to a death growl, though. The Black Waltz(this album) is also noticeably thrashier then their previous works.
